This hotel provides excellent sea view as well as views across the city - especially the Flame Towers. The building is a little tired and could use some refurbishment in some areas. The hotel's location is excellent. The hotel itself is old and in dire need of a complete renovation. Soundproofing is abysmal. Cleaning was nonexistent. Breakfast was good. And there are no carpets on the floors in the rooms, as in the photos. The second-floor windows face the wall. But if you're just sleeping there, it's not a problem. It's definitely not a 4-star hotel.

The service and friendly attitude shown to the entire establishment during my stay was very good.

Although it's a little far from the center of Baku, it's in a great location with a terrace overlooking the Caspian Sea. One of the best decisions we made was to stay in Baku Old Town and in this hotel. It's a heritage building, like all others in the Old Town, that has been done up well.
