Courtyard Brussels EU in Brussels

The overall experience is okay. Especially when Brussels is full and there's a limited choice of hotels.
The bed was very comfortable. However, the room felt a bit cold despite the temperature settings appearing adequate. The pillows were fine, but they seemed to be feather pillows, so guests with allergies should inform the staff in advance. I assume alternative options are available, but I cannot verify this.

There were no slippers or bathrobes in the room. The room was fully carpeted, and as visible in the photos, the carpet had multiple stains and visible dirt. Compared to other hotels, the room would benefit from a thorough deep cleaning.

Wi-Fi was free of charge. I only had scrambled eggs for breakfast, which were unfortunately over-salted.

Overall, this would not be my first choice next time, but the hotel is acceptable for a one- or two-night stay. In 2026, I would recommend requesting a room on the quieter side of the building to ensure a good night’s sleep.

This is simply a disclaimer for future guests. I stayed here in January 2026. This is important to note because there was major construction taking place on the opposite side of the hotel entrance at the time. I cannot comment on how loud rooms facing that direction might be, but my room was located in the other part of the building and was completely quiet.

Excellent breakfast, peaceful rooms, and a convenient location made for a very comfortable stay.

Liked · The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of fresh and high-quality options. The location is very convenient, especially for exploring Brussels and accessing the EU district. Despite some construction in the surrounding area, the hotel itself was very quiet, making it easy to relax and ensuring a comfortable and restful stay.

Disliked · There was some construction work in the surrounding area, and depending on the room location, occasional noise could be heard, especially in the morning. This is something to keep in mind if you are sensitive to noise. However, it did not significantly affect my overall stay.

Great location, kind staff. Everything was almost perfect, except two things: for our 3 day stay, we had to check in and check out every day and each time pay a deposit. No one seem to be able to explain why. For one of the days, our breakfast had disappeared from the reservation. There's clearly something to be improved in the reservation system.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Brussels EU! We were thoroughly pleased with the amenities and service overall. The cleanliness was good—definitely acceptable and up to standard, even if it wasn't absolutely flawless. The rooms were very comfortable, making our stay truly relaxing. After dealing with cramped hotel bathrooms so often, the spaciousness and comfort of this bathroom felt refreshing and made a difference. The breakfast was fantastic in terms of food quality and variety. However, considering breakfast is the start of the day, we would have specifically liked the breakfast staff to be a bit more cheerful and friendly. This was a small expectation that wasn't fully met. On a high note, the rest of the hotel staff was excellent—everyone was friendly and very helpful. Overall, we had a great experience!

Excellent hotel. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were great, both bar and dining services were outstanding. Traffic was a little heavy around that general area but it would not prevent us from a return trip. Great location within the city.

Had a room booked for two. Got a free upgrade because my friend got sick at the last moment.

Only thing that was a little bit dissapointing was the breakfast that was available. But then again, you’re not going to a hotel to get breakfast.

Close to tube station, convenient and quiet. The staffs are friendly and helpful.

Good accessible location (close to Metro, many modern cafes, restaurants, small convenience stores and walkable to parks and Central Train Station).
True to the Marriott standards, lobby was very modern and comfortable. Rooms were North American standard (very large/roomy for european hotel layouts) as were the bathrooms. Very comfortable beds and room was quiet (surprising as it was across from active construction). Enjoyed my stay and 1st visit to Brussels.
