Spacious rooms, very near to city centre

The location is a bit out of the way, but the surrounding area is quiet, with old houses that are clean and hygienic.

This hotel is located near the city center and convenient for traveling around the city. The room is quite small, especially the bathroom. It looks like quite an old house. The curtain in the bathroom is a little dirty. And I also couldn’t find an unoccupied socket to charge my mobile phone. The cover of the light was also damaged and lied on my bed when I entered the room. The ladies at the reception desk were very friendly. There were not so many choices for the buffet breakfast but it is delicious and could make me full.

I find this hotel a good choice. The location is excellent, only 12 min walk to the city center. Price is very reasonable. Supermarket is close. It is very safe (I was coming back in the middle of the night, walking). The hotel isn't fancy, but it's decent and clean. The hotel service is excellent. I forgot some item in the hotel. It was found and sent to me to my home. I really had a pleasure of dealing with the customer service. My experience was good.

The room I stayed in needs updating. Overall it's good for short stay

I don't know where to start because the experience has been the worst. We first booked because it was one of the most "economical" and had a private bathroom, and above all they highlighted its good location, 10 minutes walk from the Grand Place. Just because it turned out to be one of the cheapest does not mean that it was cheap. We paid for 3 nights: €240 without breakfast. The establishment is neglected. The room was not well equipped for the cold. I went home sick with a fever. The bed had no quilt, only a blanket that did not cover the dimensions of the bed. I requested that they give us 2 more blankets and we are still waiting... You hear the noise from the adjacent rooms, since they are not soundproofed. The pipes make a noise, you can barely sleep at night. Bathroom? Ditto of the same. Old, and very worn out. With mold on the walls and the water pressure was minimal. Besides, it couldn't be regulated well... or you would bathe with boiling or ice water. You couldn't maintain an average temperature. To top it all off, we wanted to book breakfast for one of the days we were staying and they wouldn't let us. The girl who checked us in told us that regardless of whether we had hired it, we could pay for it the same day when we wanted to use it... well, when we wanted to hire it, another colleague told us no. You have to make a reservation the day before. Something very contradictory and doubtful. It wasn't written anywhere. I work as a receptionist and it is the first time we have experienced something like this... An experience to forget.

This place was perfect for our one night stay in Brussels. Attentive and welcoming front staff, clean room, perfect walk to our event, just what we needed! Thank you so much we will certainly recommend Queen Mary.

Lousy hotel
Extremely worn out. No daily cleaning as said.
No bar or cafe as said.
Brekfast starts 0830! Too late if you have an appointment!
Close to Grand Place which was the only positive.
Lousy place!!!!!

The worst hotel experience in my life. The room was dirty, the furniture is old, also there are cockroaches and bad smell in the room. Also you can’t sleep well, because you hear all sounds of your housemates from other rooms. Stuff is neither. So If you want to get risk of your health and have a bad vacation you could stay there.
