I stayed at the hotel between 21 August-27 August 2024. Rooms are in good size, very clean and equipped with what you need. When you get into the hotel you either need to have a room card or ring the bell which is placed on the wall outside and staff open the door which makes the hotel very safe. At first it is a nice room; high floor, spacious room and a balcony. I missed the luxury of real glasses/cups, the coffee corner had little to offer. The coffee itself was nice. Upon closer inspection, our ceiling light did not work, the socket next to the bed did not work either and the bed itself was made with bedding made of some kind of plastic. Very warm and sweaty. The hotel is at good location. The customer service and staff were great. Breakfast good. The carpet in the room is outdated and needs to be replaced. Bad smell normally come from the toilet in our room but I am not sure if it happens in other room.

I recently stayed at Hotel Progress and felt it was more of a 3-star experience rather than the advertised 4-star. Clean no frills Hotel in City Center. When we stayed it was very quiet and we had a good sleep. It is alright for a night or two but the rooms are quite small so would not recommend it for longer stays where you might need more space.  I would stay again though and recommend it ☺️.

The hotel boasts a convenient location, just a 400-meter walk from the subway station and a short walk from the airport. The rooms are clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, and the front desk staff are warm and attentive. The neighborhood is residential, so it's quiet at night. There are McDonald's and Burger King nearby, and a chain supermarket is a ten-minute walk away.

The room was lovely and clean, just a few minutes walk from the old town center. Our experience here was perfect!

Location is very good, in real center. Also access to the house even if late hours is good (with electronic code registration). Also room was ok, with fridge and big enough, however there were no doors between the bathroom and the bedroom which is little awkward. The shower is not inside the bathroom, it´s inside the bedroom, next to your front door. This does not offer privacy if you are sharing with another person. This also causes a mould problem. For the price, I was expecting much better. The service is efficient, you use a code to get into the building and another code to get into your room. The location is pretty good though, quiet area, nice food options...

The rooms are beautiful, the bathroom and shower are excellent, the place has been recently renovated and the bed is very comfortable. However Les Ecrins is not a hotel and doesn't offer any service like a hotel would do. Thet didn't even reply a mail and the communication is automated. It depends what you are looking for but I feel that their website is slightly misleading.

There was a weird smell in the room and it was not super-clean. But it was silent and the location was perfect, so we ignored the fact about the smell.

The hotel is good, not far from the city center, which is convenient. The breakfasts are quite decent, although the omelets and waffles are made at a very leisurely pace. However, you can tell they're putting in the effort.

Everything was fine just parking was coming with €25 per day and this was unsatisfactory.

Hotel Barry is a great hotel, we booked for 5 people and it had everything we needed. Room is clean and spacious. I highly recommend this place, close to Bruxelles-Midi train station and a quick 10 minute walk to downtown Brussels.

It is located in the city, beside double tree hilton and few walks away from a station. It took us 8mins walk to the famous street and the Royal Galleries. The room is really spacious, completes with amenities, good service over the counter about me asking how to go to the Charleroi airport in the morning. It is also very clean and comfortable for a budget stay.

The hotel, for my needs, was in a great location and value. The room was spacious and clean and had all the necessary amenities. The hotel has helpful and friendly staff in all circumstances. The hotel is in an old building, renovated and clean, but the stairs are very narrow. It is very well located for the old town, but my room overlooking Place Rogier was too noisy. Fortunately, the staff (Rikki, Sergio and the others) were charming and changed my room to one at the back without any problems.

The entrance to the hotel is confusing - it is through a different hotel and there is no staff to explain this. The room and especially the bathroom was a bit cold. The elevator is very slow. I really like the location of the hotel. It is very good area to walk around and near the Nord station and Rogier station so it made more convenient for me to go one place to another place. And also just a minute walk to the bus stop. You just take bus number R26, it will take you straight to the Brussels National airport and only cost 3 euro.

The room was fine. We had duplex type of room, with our bed upstairs and a big window for fresh air. We were only very disappointed by the staff at the front desk. 2 of the 3 people we talked to only spoke French, not even English. One of them also barely spoke French, mixed with Spanish. I don't get how this could work for the many tourists in Brussels who don't speak French.

While the room's facilities aren't new, the service staff were excellent and very attentive. The breakfast was also delicious. I'd recommend it for short stays and it's perfect for family trips. The hotel is conveniently located just a four-minute walk from the station.

Chauffeuring a young lady from London to Brussels I just needed a bed for the night before returning to London. As the hotel states check-in closes at midnight I was delighted to be received at 00.30. Secure parking is imperative to me so was pleased spaces were available. As they say, you only get what you pay for, the Eurocap met my requirements.

It is tidier inside than the outside suggests. The lift broke down when we used it and our shower was not operational- the water squirted out the back of the handle instead of the rose.

Poor quality of bedsheets, no clean glasses/cups in apartman.
