centrally located near metro, tourist spots and a lot of restaurants
The hotel is OK and relatively quiet. The breakfast is rich and the service is OK, but the front desk doesn't speak English. The surrounding area is in a chaotic city and the public security is not very good.
I've stayed here multiple times. The hotel is about 40 minutes from the international airport, 20 minutes from the bus station, and close to the subway station. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, including a small park, but the surrounding area seems a bit unsafe.
The only problem is that I've always booked a one-bedroom room, but the hotel has given me a three-bedroom room twice.
Service, location, breakfast, and cleanliness were all wonderful.
The security at the hotel entrance was sensational and deserves praise.
However, the only thing that was lacking was the air conditioning in the room, which wasn't working.
The hotel is quite old, the room is quite big, and there is a big balcony, but it is a bit noisy facing the street, and there is almost nothing to eat for breakfast. The most important thing I want to complain about is that the room card is plug-in, and you have to rely on luck to open the door.
After checking in, a hotel review can be based on the following aspects:
1. Room Environment: This includes the room's cleanliness, comfort, lighting, ventilation, and whether the room's amenities are complete and functioning properly.
2. Service Quality: This includes the front desk, room service, food and beverage services, security measures, and the staff's service attitude and professionalism...

Overall, it's pretty good. There are many restaurants nearby, and it's quite safe. I'll definitely come back again. Overall, it's great, hahaha!
Location was safe for walking around and there are restaurants nearby. They kept out luggage before check-in and after check-out. Staff were helpful.
Excellent option! I recommend it. Great breakfast. Clean and cozy room, with everything working.
Beautiful hotel. Well-maintained. The breakfast selection could be more extensive. However, the quality is very good.
The room is nice, but the soundproofing is not good. There are many restaurants nearby. It is also close to the subway and very convenient to nearby shopping malls. The breakfast is also good. If you stay for a long time, the breakfast is a bit monotonous
All good, enjoyed my stay. The view from the room is great too.

It was a clean, spacious, and nice hotel. Security was also in place, so it was a safe and secure place to stay.
Enjoyed our stay at the Sooz Hotel, we also managed to book for a late check-out as we had an evening flight.
Hotel room is simple. Loony and breakfast were good.
Hotel is located in downtown. Easy to walk around.
It's OK, cost-effective, the room is a bit cold, the elevator is not easy to use. If the rest is around 500, it's worth the price. If you book it for 1000, you will lose money.
Room is very clean and location is good near tourist place.
Very good, the service is also very good, the breakfast sausage is delicious

Amazing hotel with great service! Was here on a work trip and the staff was very friendly and the room was great! :)
I had a great stay at Hotel Normandie in Sao Paulo. The location is excellent, right in the city center and close to metro, shops, and main attractions.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The Wi-Fi worked well, and the bed was very comfortable.
Breakfast was good with a nice variety of options to start the day.
What really stood out was the staff -- very friendly...
A hotel with basic amenities, including a comfortable bed, air conditioning, and clean bathrooms with a pleasant shower. I stayed as a family, with a separate suite. The breakfast was extensive and varied. We had an excellent stay. We received special attention from Mr. Léo at breakfast.
Spacious double room with a large bathroom and a large, comfortable bed. The facilities are dated but functional. The reception is excellent and the breakfast is excellent. It's worth it.
Internet is really bad, especially on the tenth floor!
Cleanliness needs to improve a lot!
Breakfast at the table is a daily occurrence!
The internet was slow, but I was able to connect thanks to the corp wifi.
Wifi is important for foreign travelers, so if the website says it is available, it should be provided properly.
If it isn't, it's a scam. It's just as bad as photo fraud. So I'm writing this in Japanese so that Japanese people can understand it properly.
It's disappointing that hotels in Sao Paulo are generally of a low standard...

I had my proposal here in their private garden, and I can’t say enough good things about the staff who helped me plan it and execute it! They went above and beyond to make sure it was an amazing experience. I really appreciate this staff, everyone on the staff was so friendly as well.
If you want to go shopping you are right in the middle of the action
Total Hotel is typical to guests who intend shopping nearby! I stayed for another reason, but the room was clean, the breakfast was very good! At night I didn't hear much noise! I liked it!

This is a 4 star hotel and is offered at the same price as if it's in Europe or US.... but it's very old and it shows, bath has mold and it's not kept clean, breakfast is ok but the coffee machine broke and they didn't offer an alternative although they have a professional espresso machine
The room door lock is a bit of a problem, to pull hard, otherwise a bunch to open, tried the workers after cleaning the room did not tighten, I went back when the door to push open
Shower water pressure is average
Breakfast is average
It was clean and nice. The staff was friendly and I had a good time staying there.
Very good hotel, great breakfast
Bad hotel for what it offers. Regular location. Facilities very deteriorated, curtains torn. Old moldy pillows, poorly adjusted shower, etc.
Check in was slow and time consuming, I had already stayed at the hotel and they had no QQ given, I had to do everything over again. Pretty weak.

It was my second stay in this hotel in 2025. The facility of the hotel is aging, however the hospitality of the staff totally made up for it. Throughout my stay I felt I was warmly welcomed and nicely treated, all my requests were satisfied.
I will definitely stay at the same hotel when I return to Sao Paulo in 2026
Th location is good and reception staff were friendly but the hotel is very dated and in desperate need of renovation. The breakfast also needs improvement not in variety but quality of food. Facilities like the gym are also not great. The cleaning staff came while I was in the room but rather than come back later, they said they couldn’t as they would go to other floors so just took the rubbish and...
This is a decent place to stay if you’re not expecting any frills. The bed linens and towels were a bit worn, and amenities were nearly nonexistent—just a bar of soap. On the plus side, the rooms were quite spacious. However, considering the limited comforts and lack of amenities, the price felt a bit steep for the overall experience.
It has been a true joy staying at Mercure São Paulo Paulista. The staff was cordial and absolutely very efficient and agile, which made my check-in experience even better. The accommodation was adequate and absolutely comfortable.
A well-located hotel for either business or pleasure in the centre of São Paulo. Great breakfast, friendly engaged service, super clean rooms and public areas. However, the WiFi speed and reliability could be better.
Sao Paulo, Rua Augusta, 778 (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Very convenient location, charmingly retro hotel decor and vibe -- everything about the lobby and room felt like 1979, but well-maintained and with WiFi. Breakfast was standard Brazilian hotel breakfast, that is, tasty, varied, and on par with a high-end US hotel breakfast. Staff were courteous and competent.
Very very very bad WiFi. Extremely frustrating.
The room is old and smelly. There is no power socket at the bedside
Loved it!
It was awesome. Everyone was so gentle and prompt to better assist in any doubt and/or request
The staff were very some of the most friendly and helpful that I have spoken to in a hotel so I was really glad about this part. I chose this hotel instead of others that looked similar in the same area because it had a pool. It was around double the price of the similar hotels that had no pool. The pool looked absolutely filthy and it had a weird looking broken hole in the bottom of it so I didn...
There are bars all around, and people who like to play probably like it.
The facilities are outdated, there is no hair dryer in the room, and the Wi-Fi is very poor
Breakfast is OK, English communication is poor

It’s a nice hotel with good location and nice breakfast. There is a nice shopping mall near the hotel.
The hotel overall is quite good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. However, the only drawback is that the corridors of the hotel are a bit dirty. Additionally, the view from my room window is quite average.
The room is good, although a little old, but it is safe and clean. I will stay here again next time!
The room is nice and big, but you need to prepare your own slippers, toothbrushes, etc. You need to pay for all the food in the small room. You can also pay for the food and send it to the room. The price is clearly marked and the price is reasonable. The surrounding is very safe, there are also several places to eat and supermarkets, very convenient
Breakfast is really delicious. Room is comfortable and clean. To sum up, I do liked it.
The environment is hygienic, the WiFi is good, and the breakfast is OK.

Service was great. Leidiane did a great Job. However the room had issues with the shower that were unconfortable.
Good location, kind people and good rooms. Better check in with the All Accor app.
Was needed in an emergency for two nights and it was perfect for that. Very clean and even a hot breakfast with omelets!!
It took 30 min to check in; the 8th floor was very noisy and it seems that they knew that the hotel machine room would result in a loud noise in most of the 8th floor. I had a good experience before, but this last one was really disappointing.
I think it's a good hotel in general, but they should improve cleanliness of the shower. Breakfast was good, dinner was not so good. I asked for grilled chicken and it was too small and the waiting time was too long. I complained about the chicken after I ate. The waiter told me that they could prepare something else for me and that I should have told her at the moment. She was really nice, but I didn...

The Internet connection is terrible. So take this into consideration if this is important for your needs. Good breakfast.
The location is excellent, close to a beautiful mall and 10 min walking distance to the metro station, the breakfast was ok, the staff should be able to speak English at least, the rooms are not that clean and are pretty old. The rooms are not very sound proof.
Compared to two years ago, this hotel has been renovated, but the service has declined. Check-in took a full half hour, and I have no idea what they were doing. The restaurant was terrible; the breakfast was practically empty, and the previous buffet lunch was gone, replaced by à la carte service, which resulted in almost no one there. The only redeeming quality was the openable balcony, where you...
Very convenient location to Faria Lima , staff is friendly. Cafe is good, breakfast included. Elevators sometimes have issues.
This is a nice property, modern, reasonably priced. But one word of warning: when you arrive for check-in, you should make sure that you are attended to by one of the nice professional female staff, or by the wonderful male employee ELI, who is so friendly and helpful - and you should AVOID a front-desk employee named Rodrigo. He will give you the exact OPPOSITE kind of room that you request. He...

The hotel is clean, breakfast amazing, walking distance to Avenida Paulista and MASP. The only thing I would suggest is to have bilingual ppl at front desk. São Paulo is a big city with lots of tourists and having a full bilingual customer service representatives will be a plus!
Amazing location on a safe area, close to shops, restaurants, and main tourist attractions, you can walk to so many places. The hotel was nice and had a really good breakfast, which was one of the highlights with Pao de Queijo every morning. The lobby and restaurant area looked nice and recently renewed but the rooms are a bit run down. Staff was super helpful and kind at all times. I would definitely...
Overall, for the price, the property is good and it’s located close to Paulista Avenue. But it’s on a slope so you have to Paulista up and it’s hard to walk up if you’re not fit. More importantly, their rooftop terrace has no Internet connection and nobody to give you towels for the pool. Parts of the hotel are in rough shape And the renovating half of it at the moment.
It is a great place to rest. The double twin room is amazing, large and clean. Strongly recommend to visiting with family.

My go-to in São Paulo
Very comfortable hotel with an excellent location. It is my go-to hotel when in Sao Paulo for business.
Great hotel in a very central location in São Paulo. Jardins is a neighborhood full of great restaurants and clubs, and is very close to the central Avenida Paulista and the metro stops Consolaçao (line 2) and Paulista-Pernambucana (line 4). The room was quite large, very clean and quite quiet (very important in a city like São Paulo). The pool is quite small but nice, the gym has basic equipment that...
I have stayed here many times. The room, breakfast and service are quite satisfactory. It is considered a suitable place to stay in Porto Alegre. The hotel is right next to the airport. Unfortunately, the airport drop-off service has been canceled during the reconstruction process after the airport was recently flooded.
The facilities are old but close to Paulista Avenue
The hotel is very well located. The room was clean, the bed and shower were excellent and the breakfast was very well served. I recommend it.

This is my second stay at the Golden Tower Pinheiros. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable, the staff goes way and beyond to be helpful, the breakfast buffet is so diversified and delicious, and location could not be better. Will stay there every time I’m in SP. Muito obrigado a todos no Golden Tower - a huge thank you to everyone at Golden Tower Pinheiros!
Great location. Close to shops, paulista, night life. Room was large enough to eat in and do yoga. Loved the gym overlooking the city and parks.
The hotel is okay, it could be better for the price they charge. The breakfast could have more variety and it could be healthier. The internet is bad on the 4th floor and the staff are okay.
Good for business trip
Nice location, good breakfast, and it was quiet.
Bathroom has a good hairdryer.
Parking is paid 35 BR every 12hs.
Great location! Very clean and great breakfast bar. Very reasonable rates as well.
Alright hotel
Overall decent hotel. Our room was not ready in time so we had to wait for almost an hour in the lobby. Swimming pool, sauna and small gym.

Clean rooms, air conditioning working perfectly, excellent breakfast, wonderful staff, location rated 10
Good location in São Paulo.
Cheap option.
Good quality, family-run hotel. Simple but very well-served breakfast. The only downside was the pillows, which were extremely soft.
thank For all Personal in Hotel!!!! Everybody is Helpful
Great hotel! Great service and location
The breakfast was nice. The room was alright, not bad, the bed was a bit squeaky, the bathroom door didn't shut properly. The guy working there was such a darling, but I was a bit upset that they didn't have a fridge to store some food that I had left over from a fancy restaurant that I went to with my other half. All in all, it was a nice trip. Thanks Cardim, arrasou. É noix!

A bit aged, but confortable and large rooms. Just half block from the WTC convention center. Many options of restaurants around. Very isolated after dark, you should just move around by taxi or Uber at night time.
The place is nicely designed but needs more care, More care about the place and more care about the guests. Restaurant closes early so room service is not always available. Sauna is not always on and you have to inform reception to turn it on for you. Location is good. You pay for car park

It was good.
The outdated facilities need improvement.
The room type was okay, but the bed in the standard room was a bit small.
The breakfast was great. Staff was amazing even though there was a language barrier we managed well. Location, easy walk to quite a few attractions and restaurants.
Good but could be better
The hotel was conveniently located, but very outdated. It’s on a busy street and the windows are not well insulated, so if you want a quiet evening, it’s not ideal.
Not many people speak English, which was a shame, but not a deal breaker. Service and breakfast was very good.
Nice room, good breakfast, friendly staff.
Will stay here again.
The hotels in downtown Sao Paulo are quite old. This one is relatively old and fairly clean inside.
It's not cheap. The decoration and facilities are not as good as those in China, and it costs 100 US dollars.
It's okay to stay for just a night or two.

I had 3 single beds in my room no double bed.
The hotel is well-located, although the surrounding area has some homeless people. However, I personally love downtown, so it wasn't an issue for me. The receptionists and valets were fantastic, very polite and helpful.
Areas for improvement:
Breakfast: Modest, with a variety of fruits and cakes, but I believe the quality of the products could be improved.
Room: The air conditioning is a bit noisy...
I stayed with my family. The location near the city center was very convenient for getting around, and it was great to have supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The interior was clean, and the breakfast was decent too.
Everything was great! They let me leave my luggage for a few hours ;)
This isn't the first time we've stayed at the Colombia hotel; we chose it again because we've been there before. The only thing that left much to be desired this time was the breakfast. Even on Sunday, our last day, the breakfast was reasonable, but on the first and second days, I think it was due to fewer guests, which doesn't justify it because the quality of service, regardless of the number of...
Facilities: Full of historical atmosphere, this hotel is worth experiencing for those who want to feel like they are staying at the end of the last century.
