Very nice hotel. Clean, warm. The rooms are very cozy and spacious. The breakfast buffet has diverse choices of food, which is good. After skiing when we didn't feel like going out we would order room service. The portions are big.
It's about 5 -7 min drive to the ski station. And they have a mini bus that will take you there. When you finish with skiing you just call the driver and he comes in 10 minutes to pick you up.
I love going to Borovets, the nature is beautiful. And every time we go, we stay at Hotel Royal. There service is great and all of the staff is friendly.

An amazing hotel - very clean, provided very nice breakfast, spacious rooms and very friendly and helpful staff! There is a shuttle to the ski trails in Borovec at almost any time and the hotel is situated at a quiet picturesque location!

The hotel is not in a walking distance from the ski slopes and lifts, it is next to the woods and it offers transfers and ski wardrobe included in the price.
The rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is also included.
There are some games in the common spaces like table tennis, billiard and footballs where we played with the kids. It has fitness and sauna, but we didn't visit them.
The food at the restaurant is good and portions are big.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Warm and cozy. Very friendly staff. Food not so various but great. Food at the restaurant was with reasonable prices and mostly tasty and very big dishes. Great experience.

Hotel was clean, the rooms were very spacious and appropriate for families with small children because there is enough space for cribs. But the most important and great thing about the hotel is that the staff is exceptional. They always smile, they are there if you need something, they play with the kids. The service is great and fast, restaurant is also very delicious and had various food for every taste.
I recommend it and we would definitely come back.

Considering the price the hotel is great.
The rooms are clean and tidy. They all have a breathtaking view of the mountains. There's a game with a tennis table and some old arcade games. The staff is nice and helpful.
The breakfast is limited and not good. But the dinner menu is great and not that expensive.
Also the hotel is located 5-10 min (depending on traffic) to ski center but the good thing is that there's a minibus that can you.
They also have a basement full of skies for renting for 10lv. (5€) per dey but they are that good.
Some of the rooms are really cold at night.
The Wi Fi is free but weak in the room and strong in the lobby.
In the end the hotel is a great family and friend but I can not recommend it.
