Hotel Vemara Club in Byala

All inclusive was disapointment
It says all inclusive but don’t let it fool you. I knew that this place was joke when we arrived. It felt like none of the workers didn’t have slightest clue how to work in hotel. For example our passports were left unattended on counter while we took our stuff to the room. Room AC didn’t work. I also didn’t like our balcony was shared with other room. Drinks were the biggest joke. Soft drinks were completely passed, warm, disqusting. There were 3 taps of beer: one at pool bar, one at restaurant and one at sky bar. None of them had any beer during our stay. Only alcoholic drinks were random spirits mixed with the same bland warm soft drinks. I felt also that they don’t clean the glasses well. Twice the bartender just poured to dirty glass. Remarks about swimming pool: Filthy water, also dangerous for kids due to missing floor drain cover and some broken tiles. I enjoyed to swim however after hot day. The best part of the hotel is view from Sky bar. I wish though someone would have told the existence of it, we found it when it was already dark. One last thing: the drone photo shows mainly neighbour hotels premises. This got me fooled thinking that it would be bigger holiday complex.. Dinner was not horrible, about school lunch level though. Make sure to be in queue when food is served, it will run out eventually. Breakfast was very simple but passable. I’m glad our stay was just one night. I can’t believe seems like travel agencies are arranging package tours here..

The hotel is clearly not one of the best 1. Food: Mainly problems with meat, there are carrion flies flying over it, and the mince has a terrible taste and the "consistency" of what is needed is more like plasticine. There was not enough food for everyone 2. Cleaning: There was practically none, but the staff pretended that they had at least been in the room, simply rearranging things. Someone had ants in their room. But no one refused the opportunity to rummage through things. Here is the next point 3. Theft: Money was stolen 4. Pool: Well, it's just a swamp Most of what is written in the negative reviews is true

This is going to be a long one... My husband, infant and I arrived at the hotel on 5/8/24. On arrival the receptionist was uninterested and unhelpful. It seems like a chore to check us in. She did not give us any information about the all inclusive or any of the activities that was advertised on *Love Holidays*. The swimming pool was dirty and I did not see them chlorinate the pool once. The kids play area I'll say loosely was an old dirty slide and swing with what looks like a cage in the back with loose chicken wire. The room was an absolute health and safety nightmare. The mattress and bed was broken and dirty. They expected my infant to sleep on a broken dirty sofa bed. The boiler in the bathroom did not have a safety pipe meaning you could have boiling water emptied on you at any point. In our first room there was also an ant infestation. We reported this to the reception who came to look and offered us a change of room which we accepted. The receptionist then came back with whom I suspect is the hotel manager but he didn't bother even introducing himself to me. He came with some ant power which we had already told reception we could not do due to having our infant and would not risk him putting it in his mouth. They did not want to move us rooms at all. We went to the second room and it was exactly the same as above without the ants. At this point we decided we could not stay here and called love holidays and reported the health and safety issues within the hotel. They were very unhelpful and said they needed to speak to the hotel provider and said we could not move hotels without us breaking our contract and not getting any money back. The following morning my infant was sat in his pram and put his hand on the mirror in the hallway, the 3ft mirror and back wood fell off the wall and hit him in the head!! We reported this straight to reception and they did not care at all- didn't ask if he was ok, didn't offer medical services just asked if we wanted the mirror taking out the room. We tried to speak to the manager who turned his back and walked off from us. We reported this incident again to love holidays and after 24/h on the phone they gave us permission to move hotels but could not help us moving or move us meaning we had to borrow money from family to move out the hell hole! Love holidays not helpful in the slightest. Other points: - kids club is advertised: does not exist - pool activities like aqua fit: does not exist - snack bar by pool: does not exist - no gym or fitness - food is served at a place across the road: none of the food is labeled you have to use one utensil for all the tray food, flies everywhere. - only certain times you can even get a drink. No draft beers and my husband only drinks larger. - we had to buy our own food and drink or we'd have gone hungry and thirsty. We are now in the process of getting a refund which they said would be on Wednesday but yet to receive anything back. I have send 5 emails to lov

We stayed in Vemara Club in August, 2021 in a villa for 8 days. There is no private beach there, it's not the first-line hotel. The pictures at the sites are very old and untruth. There was only one pool instead of three (all sunbeds always occupied with towels). There is no sky restaurant at the roof of the main building. In a villa all bathrooms were broken (either toilet cistern, or shower tray). The staff speaks only Bulgarian. We were lucky that the receptionist spoke English a little. The beach is far from the hotel (you should walk by the side of the road for 15 minutes at a sun), there is no sunbeds or umbrellas there, no lifesavers. The beach is very dirty, full of seeweeds and midges, the bottom of the sea is covered with sharp stones and shells. It was the worst variant to spend our vacations in.

I do not recommend this location! The hotel is dirty and far from the center, the food is horrible, there is no diversity, and the staff does not do their job at all. It is not worth any money given to this hotel!
