Hotel Sea Sunny in Pomorie

Stay away from this hotel. The first impression was already bad, and things only got worse:
- There's no parking, you need to park 200m away and pay for the parking separately
- You can only pay in cash
- Most of the staff does not really speak Bulgarian or English
- WiFi was out for 2 days and the staff just said "we don't know"
- Location wise, its right next to the beach but there isn't anything else close.

If all you care about is the hotel being close to the beach, and you just come in to shower and sleep, this is an ok place, but for anything more - you can find better.

Stay away!!! They scam! We had booked a room via booking with free cancelation. The booking was for our last night. Prior to arriving to Pomorie, we were asked to to pay a deposit of 50bgn or we loose our booking. When we arrived we payed it because wanted to keep the reservation. However, due to personal reasons had to cut our stay and canceled our reservation on time. Leave that the hotel claimed we still owe them.. they of course didn't give the money back. Basically they allow free cancelation but demand money to make sure they don't cancel. If you don't pay they cancel. So basically it's a scam.

Never coming back. I’d rather sleep on the beach than in this hotel. The cleaning staff isn’t doing their jobs. For hotel that’s on the sea they have to clean every day not once in a three days and it’s because we insist to. Never ever coming back.

"Your room is not ready yet. It will be a little longer.. till around 15:00 clock"
Make sure you check your itinerary for check-in and -out time!! There is a sign at the front desk that states: check-in is at 15:00 o'clock and check-out at 12:00; while my booking calls for 14:00 o'clock. I don't mind the 1 hour difference but if I knew, I wouldn't be there at 13:45 o'clock and would've left my house a bit later.

They did accommodate us and gave us a room at 13:59 o'clock but why did I have to make a fuss about it to get it, it's beyond me... Bulgarian mentality issues, I know.

Pros- location, location, location
Beach, main street by the water, places to dine.. it's top-notch location but so are all other spots around it.

Cons-
-No parking (free or paid). You need to go find your own.. good luck
- bellow average rooms. Horrible mattresses and pillows, old and worn furniture; bring a drying rack, bring soap and shampoo, bring all you think you may need.. I'm not exaggerating!
- it was offered to us as "ALL INCLUSIVE" lmao I was not surprised to find out that IT IS NOT! Even the coffee dispenser machine in the lobby is paid for. The restaurant has a "For Rent" sign.. ah, false advertisements.. What else is new lol
- room cleaning happened on our 3rd day for us. They just took the trash out and exchanged 2 towels for clean ones. Probably, if we asked, we could've had all towels swapped for clean, but we didn't bother. We shouldn't have to bother requesting common sense amenities!!!

There is more I could write but there is little to no point in that. Nothing will change for the better...
All I'd say to conclude my review is that I will never go there again!

I Will start with positive things: the position is great, just across the beach, the bar is ok, with different kind of drinks, the view from the room is fantastic and the room is ok.
What i didn't like is the restaurant, witch has only 2 stars, without diversity of food and the quality is Terrible. Don't go there with little Kids, they have nothting to eat.

Great location: right in front of the beach, just a few minutes walk from the center, market next door.

BUT:
- advertised as having breakfast included and restaurant available - all lie, restaurant completely closed and consequently no breakfast either;
- no cards accepted! (the only hotel on planet cash-only?);
- useless front-desk, absolutely unprepared staff, completely unable to support with any information asked (exception to mgr);
- hygiene is not great, just acceptable;
- my particular room had dirty wall, as like some drink thrown;
- two rooms we have used, both had some sand on the flloor, right when entering the room first time (supposed to be cleaned?!);
- one of our rooms had terrible beds, could barely sleep;
- AC operational but malfunctioning, as broken thermostat;
- advertised as renewed rooms... warning: only the front rooms are renewed, all others are not;
- no parking lot nor safe area available, had to park 2 blocks away in paid area;
- the beach in that area is pretty small, there is an early-in-the-morning rush to grab space, so mind that there is the possibility of one simply unable to find a spot to settle during high season, unless you go 6-7am;
- and other less relevant details...

Rubish. Rude staff. Do not visit.
