Hotel Deva - All Inclusive in Sunny Beach

The receptionists are rude, they won't welcome or smile. Don't even dare to ask if the check-in is available earlier, their answer will be: Read the wall, it says CHECK-IN AT 2 PM!!!. I know that it's completely up to them to check you in or not, but please give me a polite answer, I am your client. The rooms are dirty. We have something spilled on the wall (image attached), and the couch we had in the room had some awful stains (image attached), luckily we found what to cover it with, but this room isn't very pleasing to stay in. If you are looking to drink some cool beverages, good look, all the beverages have 0 taste like being mixed with water (tastes like sink water), an image of a Coca-Cola is attached YEP, THAT'S COCA COLA, its the first time in a hotel we had to buy water from the local store. The food is more often not good than good, I have attached an image of the fries, they just heated up the fries made on the previous meal. Oh, almost forgot, they have a SECURITY GUY that will try to take care of your vacation, will make remarks and he's also very unprofessional and rude since we were a big company, sometimes we wanted to connect 2 tables to make a large one, he came to us and shouted that we need to stop. (I completely understand that it's their right, and I don't have anything against that, but he could at least come and say something like "Excuse me, could you please not move the tables". Also, if you are planning to chill with your family or friends at night, not a chance, the security guy will make everyone go into their rooms at 11:30 PM (like in kindergarten HA HA), never seen that kind of attitude before. Also, he will be rude here too, he just taps on your shoulder and points where to go. In conclusion: The hotel's service is very awful, with zero management ethic and zero care for their customers. Except maybe the people that clean after you at the restaurant, they seem like nice people that will smile at you. I strongly recommend looking better for a hotel and try avoiding Riva.

We stayed for 5 days instead of the 6 we'd paid for in advance through booking. Parking was extremely expensive, you had to pay 20 leva for a hairdryer, and you also had to pay for the safe. Even though the Wi-Fi was free, they gave us tickets at reception with our Wi-Fi pass, which never worked. In the room, we found the TV without a remote control, and the bathroom handle was missing. The next day, around 1:00 PM, our daughter developed a fever of 39 degrees Celsius and was vomiting. Luckily, we had medical insurance for the child. They diagnosed her with viral intestinal enterovirus. We requested diet foods like plain rice or boiled potatoes from the kitchen, but I'll show you some pictures later that prove the disrespect shown to a child who fell ill in their respective hotel. The towels in the room were changed after 2 days, and the sheets after the 4th day, late in the evening, and only because we requested them. The hotel manager was very unpleasant and rude. If I didn't insist, none of the staff thought to bring us a remote control. Since the wifi wasn't working, I always went to reception, but the staff was rude, especially one blonde girl who always had the quick answer, "I don't have time." On the third day, our daughter's health worsened, and we again requested the intervention of the insurance doctor, and our daughter received an IV drip at a private clinic. When we returned to the hotel, I asked the kitchen for boiled potatoes and boiled chicken breast, but instead they brought us seasoned potatoes and a piece of fried chicken leg! I took the dish back to the kitchen, again requesting boiled chicken breast, since my daughter had fallen ill at the respective hotel, but the manager replied, "That's not true." We left a day early, so we gave them a paid-for day and paid for parking. When we were leaving, none of the staff, especially the manager, deigned to apologize for the child's suffering, considering she had arrived perfectly healthy. I should point out that I have the medical certificate issued by the doctor at the "St. NICOLA". Regarding the restaurant and the food served to guests: same dishes every day, pork every day, fish only one day a week, lots of fried food, only two pieces per person for dessert, poor-quality plastic cups. Regarding cleaning: we found dust under the beds, food debris, ketchup stuck under the bed, the quality of the sleeping furniture needs to be verified in the photos. Towels full of stains.

Very bad experience ,end of the stay, the owner objected to an unexpected fine for the confiscated thing(we heard that this is how they try to rob people in Bulgaria )he made it so that if we didn't pay, the police would be called, but he only wanted to deceive us , tried to delay us so that we wouldn't catch our flight. Not to mention that no one spoke English at the hotel, the food was below average and the all inclusive drinks were downright terrible. Never again this hotel !!
