2 star hotels in Balchik

Probably the best value hotel available near the botanical gardens, free parking included, always a bonus 😁

Mr. IVAN is a great person . Arrived in 15.07.2025 , for 3 nights . Previosly booked an economy room , but I did change into a family room . Worth it ! . Spacious , plus a woking clima ( air conditioner ) . If you are a quest of H. Diamond , you can use the swimming pool from H. Iceberg . Very close to Queen Mary Castle !!! . All our requests have been sorted .

Clean, tidy, competitively priced, and cheerful hotel in Balchik. The manager was very welcoming, and the batteries in our air-conditioning controller were replaced. Breakfast costs 7 lev and is excellent.

I’ve been here for only two days and I felt in love with the place😍.It’s easy to get to the cost line and a nice view on the way there. The rooms are looking amazing and the staff is very polite. They are good English speakers and will be at your service any time of the day and night! As the location is close to the major tourist sites it makes a great spot for a hotel😁. Long story short——>Great hotel...

Excelent value for your money. Is located on the alley to the Queen Mary Palace, and they have plenty of parking spaces. The new owners renovated the place at the beginning of the season and is pretty good for a 2 stars hotel. We stayed in a very nice room with AC and big balcony with a sea view. The owners are extraordinary people, they help you with anything and give everything to make your stay...

We love this hotel and have been many times.....I think about 10 times in the last 2 , and we didn't go last year as we couldn't travel due to Covid-19. It's not a deluxe hotel but totally fantastic for us. A family run hotel and the staff are just so lovely! An amazing view from the front rooms.

Decent place with nice pool and building. The bathroom needs some improvements as the water does not flush properly and the instalation is old. Staff was pretty ok, nothing special (we came 2h eariler but couldn't check in until 14:00 as specified on booking) Overall it was ok given the price but it can be more if investments are done properly.

The room we were offered was pretty good, considering we needed accomodation for 2 adults and 2 kids and all we found everywhere else was two separate double rooms. The view is fantastic! The pool is clean and spacious, and it has a special zone just for kids. The parking lot was pretty busy but we found great spots everytime we left the hotel. It's very close to the castle and gardens and there is...

Very nice and sweet hotel. A little outdated as I would recommend to add more electrical plugs. It is XXI century and we all need to charge everything all the time. Also needs mosquito nets. Rooms are nice and spacious. Staff is nice a helpful. Not everyone speak other language than Bulgarian. I found the breakfast a little funny as they serve you something small and mainly based on meat. Not other...

It is our first day at Iceberg hotel and so far everything is excellent. The two receptionists (Maria and a Russian accent lady) were very kind, patient and completed our requests in minutes. Breakfast is amazing and the quality of service on the busy morning was great. The life guard is very child friendly, which makes my son's swimming experience great. As you can see the room is clean (thanks to...

Very good positioning. Near balchik gardens and palace. 2 pools. Not very clean. Poor service. Room was full of smoke smell. 2 days needed for air refreshing.

Pleasant place, decent prices, nice host. The hotel is not in a very good shape, but it has potencial. Overall, we have felt ok here.

It is a nice hotel where you can take breakfast. It takes on foot arround 15-20 min to the nearest beach.

The host is very welcoming, the cleaning could have been a little better, but altogether it was ok. I would recommend it for those with a limited budget.

This hotel has been completely refurbished which reflects my objection to all of these review sites be it Google or Trip Adviser - there is no way of removing out of date photographs and reviews. Take time to scroll through the photos util you see those added in 2017 when Jordan and his parents took over and completely refurbished. This small family run hotel is now a comfortable place to stay whether...

The Hotel has a new owner by November 2016, completely renovated, open on April 1, 2017 ... We are waiting for you! Best Regards "Hotel Alex team"

You know a place is fantastic when your whole family swears by it and then you go and it feels like all the troubles in the world can take a break until you get back. Lovely people, great vibes, good for those who want to go to the beach or just walk around and enjoy the place. 10/10 will come again!

Family Hotel Victoria is true to its name. It's a cozy place with kind and warm people. Pros: a short walk from the beach away, and great conversations with the owners Cons: your standards will raise and no other hotel will feel as homely

Nice place across from the beach, intimate, cosy, better than any 2 stars hotel we have been to. The kitchen provides fresh good food, the personal is friendly and helpful. I parked my car for free at the hotel and Swedish buffet breakfast is also included in the room's price. Great value for money, I do recommend!

Cosy, nice and warm atmosphere, great service and real family feel. Lady Viktoria is a gastronomy wizard, had the best starters, and that on the house. With the room's price you get free parking and the most tasty breakfast buffet with homemade items. We will certainly come again!

Victoria Hotel is a great place to stay in Balchik! We enjoyed our stay a lot, the rooms are beautiful and spotless clean! The location is great, 2 minutes walk to the beach, and the owners are welcoming and super nice! They go above and beyond to make you feel good and they serve fresh and delicious meals in their restaurant. We stayed in few other places in Balchik but Victoria Family Hotel is by...

Rooms not so clean. Our fridge was full of mold and the cleaning lady came and clened with with a basic cloth (did not look clean at the end), smelled sooo bad. Also, we saw a bug in the room. The cleaning lady was doing a lot of noise, always knocking things. Very close to the small beach and close to markets.

Nice and chill place, the owner very friendly, he have pool, barbecue place , nice view, rooms are rustic style.

Very clean,Nice and warm owner, good location You can go in any direction because of location 10min by foot to Botanical Garden or Promenada ! Nice Garden and swimming pool ?

Excellent location, very good food, friendly staff. We had a great holiday at Arabella Hotel. Everything exceeded our expectations.

A very good place for families with children, and not only with them!

It's clean the personal is nice and always polite :)

Generally worth its money, cheap, crowded, swimming pool is not clean, food is average. On positive helpful and friendly staff

Quiet and peaceful place for those who just want to relax and enjoy the rest. Friendly staff. "All inclusive". The beach is close. The food in the restaurant is unique. On the terraces you can sit quietly and enjoy a cigarette or cadence :) Not giving five stars because this place is not obnovovani years.

Great location. The atmosphere is calm, the staff is friendly and polite, service is fast and without problems. The food was delicious. Recommended.

Nice price quality balance. Went already few times, incl july 24. Just booked 4 pax for Friday

Small good hotel run by dedicated family where the commodity of the guest are main low.

Nice place, nice staff, needs up dating for the price.

Ideal for us with our dog, not to big. Not the modernist, but the service is very good

Enjoyed a fantastic stay at Hotel Vega —with an incredible beachside location, friendly staff, and delectable food. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and provided a relaxing ambiance. Ideal for beach lovers seeking convenience and a warm atmosphere. Overall, a wonderful getaway option for those who appreciate the coastal beauty and excellent hospitality.

clean rooms, walking distance from the beach

The food is very good in the restaurant.

On the first day, even if I arrived before the time of accommodation, the hotelier has provided me with the key for my room. The room and the bathroom were large enough and very clean. The room was equipped with all the necessary: A/C, fridge, flat TV, 2 separate long and comfortable beds with new mattresses, wardrobe, desk, luggage shelf. The balcony was facing west to the quite and green interior...

Welcoming hosts, quiet atmosphere.

Wonderful hotel, comfortable room, large bathroom, shower, toilet, washbasin. Everything is clean, with air conditioning, refrigerator, electric kettle, TV. And the balcony is just great. 100% satisfied with the hotel

A very clean and quiet place. Friendly staff who takes care of your needs. Hot water all the time. The room was cleaned daily. The sheets and towels were changed on day four. Pet friendly. If we visit Kranevo again, we are going to stay there. There is a cosy outdoor restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Randevu.

No breakfast. Neglected. If it is for one night, it can be experienced. The host is very nice and responsive! Just freshen up the rooms and the hotel will be perfect!

5 stars for the restaurant at this hotel. The family that runs the restaurant are extremely hospitable and friendly, the cook is very knowledgeable and skilled with many dishes and provides delicious food that has a home-cooked feeling to it. I would return to this restaurant every day if I could.

Small family hotel. Very friendly owners that took us with an animal with no issue. There is small and very delicious restaurant. The area is close to the main street but on a very calm and quite area. It is perfect for a rest. The ratio price quality absolutely fair. Deffently recommending. :)

One of the best pork steaks I've eaten on the Bulgarian seaside! I'll definitely come back for more!

The most breathtaking view, exquisite cuisine, and exceptionally welcoming staff, with a special warmth towards children, on the Northern Black Sea coast! ❤️

The food is tasty at a fair price and the owner is very nice. We would eat here again at any time and it is absolutely recommended.

good food, the rooms are clean (we just saw them, but didn't book), the owner very friendly

This hotel is one of the best and most affordable on the Golden Sands coast. The authentic food is simply exquisite made with love. The rooms are sparkling clean cozy and rustic and the view is simply breathtaking. I am so glad this hotel still exists. I spent all my vacations with my parents when I was young here. I have great memories here. And I will come back to this place every time I come to...

Polite host, fast service, tasty food. Convenient location with parking. Very clean and tidy. We are definitely going back.

The staff is very nice and helpful, quick checkin and checkout. They change the beds and towels every 2 days. I highly recommend the rooms with sea view. The parking lot is quite big, didn't had any problems in finding a free spot. Supermarket and restaurants right next to the hotel. The beaches nearby are accessible by stairs through the rocks, a sandy beach is 15-20 minutes walking distance. The...

We came here to relax, we were not interested in fancy rooms or all inclusive accommodation. Rooms were clean, view amazing over the mountains. Really nice and clean pool, this place is not for people that want to go to the beach since it's quite far. You go here to relax and enjoy some quiet time. Literally 2 minutes away from all the restaurants, decent prices very good food. Free private parking...

The cleaning could be more throrough, it is visible they are open only during summer, they are not very attentif to cleaning details (spider webs, rust, cracks in the walls). if you are ok with that then it is a perfect place to stay for a small vacation. it is close to the botanical garden and the Queen Mary complex, a 10 minutes walk maximum. restaurants near by, shops, free parking at the hotel...

It is not the best hotel and my room wasn't the cleanest and smelt a bit weird. There is a TV and shower room/toilet and a small fridge and a AC so that's good. There is a pool but on the day I was there I was freeeeezing. But I think this hotel is just a place to stay and the main attraction is what's around the hotel outside like botanical garden and nice shops and beach around.

You get what you pay for. The room was clean, but there was a pungent smell of old furniture and mold in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable, the AC works well, the personnel friendly. The average age of the visitors was over 50, so the place is very senior-friendly. The breakfast food was bellow expectations. And the expectations were nothing grand, honestly. Overall it’s a good stay if you...

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. The service was exceptional as well. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Balchik. I would definitely send a friend there. If the system allowed me here I would give 10 stars than 5. :)

Helios Hotel offers a truly enjoyable stay with several standout qualities. The service is exceptional—staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and professional throughout my visit. The location is also excellent, making it easy to access nearby attractions and amenities. Additionally, the hotel provides a good range of food options, with several on-site restaurants that deliver both quality and...

Friendly staff, well cleaned premises and nice atmosphere. Excellent Bulgarian 3 star hotel. Nice pool and possibility to swim in ocean. Well working airconditioning in room. Family room with 2 bedrooms was big enough for 4 persons. Restaurant was basic good, and breakfast was good everyday. Took rental car from airport wich helped moving around. Using taxi would have been quite costly.

Everything was perfect, Service, pool, beach, cleanliness, good food, etc etc.

The best hotel in Balchik or even in the Black Sea coast! The staff is super friendly, the owners are the best and very accommodating. We had our wedding here and it was an amazing time. The food is great, cook very talented and the housekeeping is fast and thorough. The views from the hotel are even better. One of the best vacations of my life!! Will be back 100%! ❤️

Hotel_5* due to the best quality/price. Staff, manager super friendly, helpful, always ready to make your stay more fine. Has massage, big plus. Room with balcony and sea view. Super clean, spatious, all amenities. Location:5*, sea access, more private, away 5min from promenade. Great view, not crowded. Garden, pools, place to sun tan. Parking place free outside of hotel. Abd yes, very safe, parked...

Awesome view from the room! The guy from reception is perfect (friendly, polite, so on)!

Best view in Balchik. Very nice staff.

Good enough for a few nights. Pretty cheap, very close to the beach and Balchik Palace and next to the Botanical Gardens.

Good low-cost option for Balchik. They have breakfast, air conditioning, freezer, and hot water showers at 95 leva (~50 Euros) for a double room. For 5 leva a day, you can park your car next to the hotel. Close to the hotel, they have a good-sized pool with a beautiful view to the sea side. This year, they had only the breakfast option, not all-inclusive hotel anymore. The owner / manager is very...

It’s the perfect stay for a family vacation. It’s close to the Botanical Garden and all the best restaurants. The staff is very helpful and friendly. And the view from our room was the best. The pool is very clean and perfect for families with children.

Nice rooms, good price, verry nice view

I love the view, the pool and the sound of the waves that you can hear from the balcony. Nice and quiet place, the rooms are big and the restaurants near the hotel are quite cheap.

I've visited in December. Cold and not very clean but the view is great and it's right on the sea side. The food wasn't too good

stayed for twelve days in may.2013. the hotel is being updated and the room we had was excellent, the staff are very helpful and the manager/owner will arrange all trips, taxis and any visits you should need most enjoyable stay and look forward to visiting again

Wonderful hotel, very kind staff. Do not get me started on the rooms. I died seeing them, veerryyy biiiggg, enormous!! Very good furniture. The bed was very soft, it sept like a baby. And the view is to DIE FOR!!! Please get a room with see view, the price diff was like 50$ for a 3 nights stay but u will not regret it.

We've been there between the 17th-21st of July 2025, parents and two kids. The next day, Friday, our friends (also parents and two kids) tagged along.Two-room apartment, cosy and clean, right on the seashore, with awesome views. Generous bathroom / shower. Very polite and helpful staff. At the hotel restaurant, right across the promenade and with beautiful sea view as well, we experienced fine personnel...

Very spacious and clean rooms, a huge bed, air conditioning, and a well-stocked minibar. Towels are changed daily. I just think the breakfast could be improved, but apart from that, everything was perfect.

The rooms are ok but the bathrooms are critical.... Draining not functional, water comes out from the shower cabin and fills the floor....

Perfect location to the beach, clean and comfortable!🤗

Good place to stay a few days. Very close to the beach.

Great location, very clean and perfect value for money. Will come back! Thanks!

Peaceful and nice place to relax at, also few steps close to the beach. Highly recommend! :)

Lovely hotel, very comfortable and perfectly located (literally 2 minutes walk to the beach). The staff were very helpful and friendly, also an exellent breakfast. We will definitelly come back, so I would hightly reccomend this hotel to everyone :)

A nice location if you want to sped a short holiday in Balchik. It offers all you need for the price you pay, with 4 nice menus for breakfast included. The personnel was nice and the check-out was 12 o'clock.

Amazing personnel. Very good food. Would come back again.

Good hotel and restaurant. Free parking on site. Delicious food in the restaurant. Good service. Great value hotel

This hotel is old but the staff are trying to make it hospitable and welcoming. Could work on the details in cleanliness. Breakfast was great. A little far from the beach but close to the castle. Overall a good value.

Very good place for relax and near to local sightseeing. Kind personal, clean rooms. Enjoy eating and sleeping. SPA zone is small but comfortable.

Super clean and comfortable. Nice outside areas and great pool. Nice balcony on my room and good faculities. Breakfast was nice and while package was great value.

Great location just at the beach. Don’t expect 5 star, but it’s so charming. We stayed in a two room apartment. Cleaning every day. We will stay again if we come back to Balchik

I spent 3 nights at the Oasis Balchik Hotel between 21-24.06.2024. Everything was superlative. Excellent location, the hotel is located by the sea, it has its own beach with sunbeds and umbrellas, fine sand and the central beach of Balchik is also nearby. The rooms are super spacious, clean and all have balconies overlooking the sea. The hotel has a restaurant where you can serve breakfast or lunch...

Lovely hotel at the beach. Quiet and silent. Perfect for a lazy holiday. I have not so many nice things to say about the restaurant though. Don’t eat there. Unhygienic and very rude! I will not eat there the rest of my vacation!

Relaxing, Beautiful, Simply amazing!

The best hotel in Blacik, the view is a dream, friendly staff, excellent food, fair prices

The restaurant is absolutely perfect

Very clean rooms, good service. Restaurant has good food. Large gym with lots of machines and ping pong table in basement. Beach is at a 10 min walk.

We choose White Rock Castle for our wedding stay in Balchik for us and our guests. I loved the place for its location. The parking is free, the swimming pool was nice, the rooms were clean and equipped. Everything was just perfect. But the main reason i would recommend the place is the team behind the frontdesk. Everyone was nice, supportive and the communication was always on top level. This is a...

Very clean rooms and great pool!

Nice place to have few days in Balchik, close to Botanical Garden and Castle. A little to far from Balchik centre and beach. Room was small but cosy and clean enough. What we didn’t like was the strange smell inside when you enter the room - like sime chemicals. Breakfast is ok, same food or with very small variatios. Not very friendly with vegans. Coffee is not drinkable …

A wonderful experience in a charming hotel. Located near the Botanical Gardens and Queen Mary Castle, the hotel offers customers clean, spacious rooms at affordable prices. The clean swimming pool, the friendly staff, the beauty of the landscape and the peace so welcome in a vacation recommend the hotel by itself.

Lovely hotel with nice pool and kids zone. If you are looking for really quiet place in June that’s your choice. Season there starts quite late and is real quiet but for us was exactly what we wanted.

A very nice new hotel. Cosy spacious rooms with the sea view. The swimming pool is really good, with enough room for everyone and a great cafe serving cocktails and all kinds of food. The location is just excellent - 50 meters to the waterfront and the beach ☀️ Another great perk is an underground parking with the lift, it’s a huge benefit as there’s a serious issue with parking in Balchik. We spent...

All in all it was ok. It has good location, friendly staff, free parking, nice relax area with free jacuzzi and sauna, suuuper massage therapy, good breakfast, but I did not like the cleaning. I have worked in hotels and that is no way to clean. Sorry

Very good hotel and location. Recommended for families with kids.

Everything is just great for us, like years ago, and next year is booked. Perfect location, everything easy, very clean, employees very nice.

The hotel has all de facilities you need : free parking spot, spacious rooms, very close to a private beach area ( you have to pay en extra cost for a chaislounge and an umbrella) and bars to have a drink! We had half board included, the breakfast was ok despite the dinner which was very poor!

Quiet location, big and clean rooms, kind staff, good breakfast, clean swimming pool, underground parking, 2 minutes away from the Nomad beach.

Food was great, serving great also, I would come back here any time. If you like lamb this is your place.

Excellent hotel with a very good restaurant attached. Good food, good prices, Shepard's salad, mussels and sprot a must try, BBQ also very good even though there aren't many dishes. Also very good priced, much better than other restaurants in the area.

Lovely restaurant by the sea. Food was great, the service was great, our waiter Vasil was amazing, he's not only an amazing waiter but also a great entertainer.

Great service, dishes are astonishing and they gave nice wide terrace overlooking the sea.

good hotel nin front of the sea and good view also

+Clean rooms , nice people, great view -poor breakfast
