But I can't let it pass. This place is the worst. Although it's cheap, is simply not worth any money at all. Once I saw the state of the room I instantly made peace with the fact that I lost my money. I went to a different hotel.
One thing made me lose my mind and pushed me to write this review. The absolute incompetence and disrespect of the receptionists.
In Albena, you got to pay access and parking. And you can't opt for hours of access. You are forced to pay 20 BGN for 24 hours. Once you get in, you can't leave the area unless you pay. But the 24 hours are not actually 24 hours because if you leave Albena for any reason, when you want to get back in, you have to pay another 24 hours unless your hotel helps you out with a special card.
ANYWAY. I didn't know that. I blindly went to the Oasis receptionists and told those ladies that I want to pay my 24 hours, leave the area to check some other accommodations I found on Booking, then get back to pick up my baggage. They said yes, no problem. No warning, no nothing.
(Keep in mind that I can't get my money back for the accommodation since it was paid through the organization. So technically I am a full client for them.)
Found my new place, booked in, got back to access area and fond out that I can't get in. Asked the guard what's going on and he told me that my hotel should've help me out with that.
I said "Ok, will go and ask them, I'm sure it's fixable."
Went to the lady... " 💁♀️ Sorry, you didn't say you are coming back, can't help"
I am not a man who spends energy on such small minded people problems. I instantly understood the braincell lacking mammal I am dealing with, said "Ok, Karen", smiled and left.
I will still be going and eat their semi-decent food everyday until I leave since I am technically still a client. But I will never ever in my entire life come back here.
Go to Pino - Villa, Casa, Cucina e Terrazza instead. It's literally right next to the gates of Albena. You don't have the all inclusive benefits but the place is amazing, you got free parking, the restaurant looks fantastic and the food tastes good. Got free breakfast and a super professional staff. Oh, and they can drive you to the beach. :D
