The location ist the best possible: it's two steps from the beach and restaurants (1 minute walk) and still completely quiet, as it is hidden in a "secret" lane

The sun doesn't disturb here, it takes only a small part of the balcony, so the climate is very pleasant inside, even if you dont use air conditioning

There is no noise at all! At the 4th floor the is a romantic view on the roofs of the old city. The water pressure is very good

The location was fantastic and the place is quite charming however I struggled with the noise at night (next door guests) and squeaky floors. There was an unpleasant smell from the drainage in the bathroom.

The issue was you have to climb multi story building with your luggage in a dark stair hall. Secondly the room was way smaller and the bed was not very comfortable

Car travellers should keep in mind that the guesthouse has only one private parking slot that most of the time is occupied. Despite that, there is free public parking available on the street

Nice bonus - the guesthouse has a kitchen that all can be used by all guests. The kitchen is big, clean and well equipped. There is also nice shared dining area as well

Housekeeper Evgeni helped us to find a parking slot each time we needed one. Ruse by-itself is magnificent. Definitely will consider to come here again

Edit: after talking to the owner it seems our section did not have any other rooms, so the bathrooms were "private", only outside the room

In the winter Sozopol is a ghost town, it was quiet and peaceful, just what I needed. People were really nice, the owners gave me a ride to the bus station and made sure I was Ok

It was perfect for my studies and work, a desk just above the waves, fast Wi-Fi and a coffee machine in the hallway. There’s also a TV, a fridge and a hair dryer in the room

Heating is by AC but because the house is one of the traditional old ones, the type of isolation doesn’t let the air become dry, so I was completely ok with it

The location is perfect - in the old Sozopol. The studio was spacious and clean. There is a kitchen with a sink and microwave oven. The house is on the rocks with a great sea view

Wonderful house, clean and cozy. The owner is a wonderful and kind person. 3 minutes from the northern beach. Everything has been thought of, there is even an elevator, a summer kitchen, tables and chairs in the garden

Very nice and calm place perfect for family holiday or a group holiday with friends. It is placed in the forest and very near to Shiroka polyana. There is a restaurant and a lot of houses for guests.

We tried only calamar and octopus, but they were well cooked. Wine is good, especially for the price. Maybe not as fancy as some other places, but value for money.

Yes it's a guest house so not staffed at all times. No problem! The full renovation to the historic dwelling is outstanding. Full attention to detail is afforded by Boris. Lots of nice little touches throughout

If it had included breakfast, it would have been a more reasonable and acceptable price. There are hotels with breakfast included at this price. It is in a pleasant, boutique location

This place is so lovely we didn’t want to leave. My partner and I stayed over Christmas. They cooked us a beautiful Christmas dinner. They left us on our own and we had a late morning breakfast

The hotel is well maintained, the room (for three people) is spacious and very clean! The same applies to the bathroom ( which is important! ) Every time you enter the room, you can feel a wonderful aroma from the bed linen ( this does not happen in all hotels! ) I highly recommend!

Villa Verbena is a renovated old house offering no-frills comfort and convenience. It is situated on an old forest road along the Zla Reka river in the foothills of Central Balkan region at an altitude of ~650 m

The guesthouse is in a logging area, so the pleasure of walking into the mountain is spoilt by heavy trucks and other equipment that leave ugly scars in the woods and make a racket early in the morning

It is a family affair run by two generations; the hosts are friendly, hospitable and good fun to be with, and together with Bertha the dog and the cats easily make you feel at home

Villa Verbena is a great place to relax and laze around, enjoy the peace and quiet, and the good food and wine; bear in mind that there's not much to do, so a long stay could get boring unless you're a keen hiker

The trail heads to Botev Peak, Maragidik and others are 15-30 minutes away by car, but note that the access road to the property is seriously bad; drive slowly and choose your way with extra care

Guesthouse Kris is an amazing place on top of a hill from which you can see the whole town. And also we were in the apartment with the biggest terrace which is very convenient
