The food was Bland. Sunny Beach was good place to relax. The people in Bulgaria are fine. Food and grocery are expensive! However, Hotel Shipka did not offer any night entertainment or excursions tours. The Shipka hotel was quiet and peaceful. I give Hotel Shipka only 3⭐.

Family I went with went here years ago and they remembered it was a much nicer place. Unfortunately our experience this summer wasn't the best. Definitely needs renovation, and it would be a great hotel.. it has beaches nearby, it seems like a generally good placement for a hotel. The reception told us to park at Grand Hotel, 10 leva 24 hours, the staff are very nice, 2 pools, one for Kids and one very big, i didn't notice any things, good house keeping, ice cream available at near the pool time closing, but I recommend not getting a mix, because the ice cream is very, very frozen, and you are making a staff nervous, and possibly singing, 2 bars avalabile, one near the reception...

Cheap post communist hotel with 2 buildings two swimming pools.It's all inclusive. If you have small kids it's verry good choice because there is kids place. This is q beautiful classical hotel right in the center of towns. The room was very big - 30 square meters - and comfortable. But it was outdated and somewhat shabby. The hallway was dark. The breakfast was adequate but there could have been more choices. The staff was friendly.

One of the best hotels I've ever visited! The staff is kind and polite, there's a huge pool and a SPA centre and it offers great views of the sea and the rest of the resort! I have been here before and I had excellent time, so I decided to return. Although I was on my own, I didn’t feel alone , everybody was very welcome and I always had somebody that I can have a chat with. I used all-inclusive for breakfast lunch and dinner -food is absolutely outstanding . A very pleasant place to relax! The hotel is cozy, and the spa area really impressed me – the sauna with a sea view and the salt room were amazing. The atmosphere is calm, and you can truly unwind. For the price I got it from TUI.cz : one week all inclusive for about 400 € very reasonable. Near by the ***** , for older people it can be a bit loud, beach is about 200 meter , in hotel and also opposite is market, so if you miss anything in buffet or bar you can easily buy. I stayed here off-season, so I paid small money in an area that is quiet out of season . My room was excellent, more like an apartment and for only 20euro a night ,but the biggest problem for me was the complete lack of hot water for my shortened stay as I needed a hot shower and feeling good again after 3 days on the houf.

My overall experience is ok, but since they promise access to an aqua park, I don’t expect it to be closed and out of service. In case access to the aqua park is a deal breaker for you, make sure to personally contact them and ask for details/availability. Good place for summer vacation if you do not want to spend a lot of money. It's a part of complex named Grand Hotel Varna. It has a big territory with several pools for adults and children, a nice park with some sport equipment, a good playground for children. The only disadvantage is a small beach.

Bad sanitation... the cleaner didn't want to do his job, also apartment with broken doors and shower. Very dirty, beds are nasty.

I gave my parents a week at this hotel as a present. They liked everything, the food, the rooms, the pool. Very welcoming staff

The hotel overall is okay like a 3 star hotel but mostly is poorly maintained. Not only the rooms but especially the bathrooms. They have nice view to the outside pool but furniture are cheap and the food of all inclusive was not so great but it's okay maybe for the season and that price. The staff is very nice and helpful 👍

Nice hotel nearby the beach. The main problem is that parking. For 15lv per spot per day, you don't even have your own place. We have been waiting for our car to be able to go for an hour...
