The Pipes Resort in Koh Rong Island

I enjoyed my stay here and the staffs are genuinely nice people. The reception reached out early and offered a free boat pick up. She also took the time to book us a return boat ride the night before and informed us before our check out. Amazing customer service! Very responsive!

However, the room we stayed in was just acceptable. I could definitely see the resort being in better condition prior to their 2.5 years shutdown. In it's current condition, things aren't up great. Our room had no TV which is fine cause we thought we weren't going to watch much TV anyway. The bathroom was quite unpleasant. I assumed it's the poor plumbing system as there was constantly a sewage odor emitted from the toilet. We didn't want to make a fuss out of it and genuinely felt too bad for the staffs to bother them about it. The furnitures have seen better days. The nice part is that we get a constant supply of 24/7 electricity and WIFI which was the most important to us. The internet was decent and the 24/7 electricity meant that we could keep our room nice and cool all trip long.

The resort does not currently (December 2022) operate a restaurant due to staffing issue and some need for improvement. The reception did offer us welcome drinks which we appreciated.

Overall, we enjoyed our trip. The staffs really made our stay here. They carried this whole operation and really tried to make the best out of what they were given to work with. Hopefully, upper management might step in and renovate the resort. The location of this place is superb!

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel, it has all the comforts to spend a pleasant journey right in front of the beach and close to dozens of restaurants.

This place is lovely. The rooms are small but it has everything you need. They are clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very delicious.

Very nice place rooms smells good very clean the design changes from the usual wooden bungalows. Perfect place on the beach right in the middle.

Spent two days in the bungalow and had the BBQ on the beach. The bungalows are top, both in terms of equipment and cleanliness. Check-in and service was also top notch. I've paid around 120 Dollars per Night. The BBQ was also very tasty. However, the staff there was less attentive. All in all everything is recommended.
