I stayed for two nights at the start of February and it was great. The staff are super friendly and the room and amenities were great. I used the sauna and hot tub two days there and both well maintained and thankfully not busy. The gym is a bit small bit the cleanliness and availability of towels and water are great.

Very good location, central to everywhere. Walking distances to attractions, can use the PATH to anywhere while it's raining or the weather too cold. Amenities regular and not enough compared to hotels. Also house keeping not everyday.

Excellence location in down town. Closed to Metro Queen Station.

Good enough for an overnight business trip. Spacious and great downtown location.

Love this hotel for location and in-room conveniences. Beds are SOOO comfortable, and the room is so quiet - sleep is so inviting!

Room was large and beds were comfortable. Thermostat did not work, we could only control temperature by turning it on or off. This caused us to get up several times during the night to regulate our room temperature. Bedrooms tv was disconnected. Shower had poor water pressure. Hot tub area was unclean. Biggest complaint would be the morning breakfast. Clearly the pancakes and the eggs came from packages. The pancakes were dried out and crispy around the edges, and the eggs were premade and processed. Home fries were stale and seemed old. Poor selection of food. Breakfast around the corner at McDonalds would have been of higher quality.

A very wonderful experience with them when we needed to find a hotel quickly. We paid to get a room early and we got that. Something. That was really nice that I've never seen before was that they will hold your bags for you. So when you come back to check in and go to your room, you don't have to carry your bags all over again. There's a sizable underground parking garage with plenty of space

Stayed in a suite for a last-minute work trip and was pleasantly surprised with how clean and tidy the room was upon my arrival. Despite being situated next to Yonge St, the noise from the street also wasn't bad at all considering it was a Friday evening, and the hotel was also very quiet. The only (very minor) qualms I will note for others who may care about these sorts of things: the front service reception was quite bad upon my arrival (the guy was clearly not in the mood for customer service) and being handed two warm complementary water bottles from a ripped case sitting on the floor wasn't the greatest aesthetic. In the hotel room, the fridge smelled like it had recently had rotting food in it, and the shower didn't drain properly. The room was also way too hot and didn't seem to cool down following multiple attempts to lower the temperature and turn on the fan, so I ended up just turning the heat off completely and cracking the window for the night as I slept. Other than these small issues, I would definitely recommend staying here based on price, location (at the heart of downtown and on every major transit line imaginable) and cleanliness.

I had professional friends coming from abroad and checked out hotels in the downtown area. When I got to Cambridge Suites the front desk staff, Tony and Brandon, were so courteous and helpful. They showed me the huge one-bedroom suite with executive desk, comfortable sofa and chair, plus coffee-making facilities in the main space and an excellent separate bedroom and bathroom - it was all a comparative bargain! My friends had only praise after their one week stay. So thank you, Cambridge Suites, and Tony and Brandon. We'll be back.

Exceptional stay during a stressful time

We stayed here the night before surgery at St. Michael’s Hospital, and I truly cannot say enough good things about this hotel—especially given the circumstances. It was in the middle of one of Toronto’s biggest snowstorms, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and stress-free.

They kindly allowed an early check-in and surprised us with a complimentary upgrade to an executive suite on a high floor, which made a huge difference. The room was extremely spacious, spotless, and incredibly quiet—you honestly cannot hear anything from other guests, which was such a relief before an early medical morning.

The staff were warm, friendly, and genuinely caring. You can tell they understand how important comfort and calm are, especially for guests dealing with medical stays.

The location is unbeatable: a 2-minute walk to St. Michael’s Hospital, about 4 minutes to the Eaton Centre, and surrounded by great restaurants—we walked to Milestones with ease. Everything you could need is right there.

This hotel turned what could have been a very stressful night into a peaceful, reassuring experience. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Cambridge Suites Toronto to anyone—especially those needing to be close to the hospital.

Food was ok not excellent and it doesnt justify the price. Overall we had a good time.

We went for a simple dinner before theater and loved the food; grilled octopus with white beans and grape tomatoes, SO flavourful. Then the C't Mang pizza (a 10) and the Quattro Stagioni pizzas. Both deliciously 'washed down' with a nice bottle of red...............we could have been in Italy in stead of Toronto! Highly recommended, we will go again.

If you think you are cool and want to impress people, well this is just the place for you. Not to mention if you don't care about what you're shoving into your mouth, well this is perfect for that too. I went with a group of friends and not one of us enjoyed our plates. The portion sizes are not well thought out - not to mention the flavors that make up the pasta dishes - awful, awful, awful - I had the dinner special for $22, a fettuccine dish with truffle oil and mushrooms, very tiny portion - the flavors clashed and I swear I was eating buttery pasta with dried mushrooms on top... I wouldn't waste my money here again - we left disappointed and unsatisfied and we ended up going to Beaty's on King St. for a few pints... it was that bad.

this is the best place ever! my favorite spot to hang out with friends and grab some drinks, celebrating an event or just a random night on the town. food is incredible and drinks are all well priced so you don't have to break the bank when you come here but can still expect stellar service nonetheless. the atmosphere and music choices are a plus!!!

Food is ok. Drink selection alright. Service extremely unfriendly, in fact rude. First and last visit. For sure! Who wants to go to a place, to pay for food and drinks and yet feel as if one is getting free food or a favor by the server??

It's location that makes it work well.

Not recommended.

Just the same as all other Frikin bars. This chain of bars used to have a different feeling in every location. I guess the new generation doesn't' t like the Irish atmosphere so renovations and bar decoration as well as ambiance had to change. Very clean. Beer selection is not really that great and the food is ordinary. Great for a quick drink with friends.

Always stop here before a show. Great service. Great food. Tasty beverages! Very busy place... Location location location!

This location of the Firkin chain of 'pubs' is leaving a lot to be desired. Was there last night for a bite and a drink before heading to Massey Hall for a show. Service was slow. Took about 15 minutes for our server to come to our table. Took about another 15 minutes for a beer and sangria, which took the same amount of time as our nachos to show up at our table. Server dropped 2 plates in front of me to place out (thanks, I can set the table here too, not just my home?!) and disappeared. We asked for water a couple of times, and it never appeared. The only thing that the servers were quick with was our bill and paying - that seemed to be their only concern. Will definitely think twice about visiting this firkin again.

Absolutely gone down hill. Portions were cut on half and I would have expected better food during dinner hour. Forget it.. I've given up on KFC?

The worst chicken I have ever had. Soggy, ton of oil, dry inside.

Meh... Just meh. Not the greatest location for KFC but it will do if you really want greasy fried chicken
