We have stayed many times at the Residence Inn Marriott and their line. Once again in Dec 2025 we stayed for three days while attending a conference, as we do every year, and once again had a wonderful experience. Jhunalyn and Khushi checked us in, and despite our early arrival, they kindly accommodated our early check-in request, we truly appreciated their efforts. This was also our first time traveling with our cat, and the staff made his stay just as comfortable as ours. When we briefly thought we had lost him 😬🥲, the manager, Sanyam, was incredible, he immediately stepped in and worked with his team to help locate him. Thankfully, all ended well! Overall, it was a fantastic three-day stay, and the staff was amazing. The furniture in the room does require some updating. And the breakfast buffet can have more halal/ vegetarian options added. They used to have Halal options but it seems to be taken off. We’re looking forward to our future stay. Have a wonderful 2026!

Clean, well serviced, staff was exceptionally friendly. Great location.

Hardware in suite was loose - drawer handles, shower knobs. Also, the drawers didn’t closed all the time. Minor issues.

The complimentary breakfast was great for a hotel. The room was clean but not a showstopper. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We got the couples package for Valentine’s Day and it was exactly as described, but not exceptional. The valet service was quick and easy.

We had a short trip to Toronto for a Raptors game, we found it to be a great location near all the things we needed. Great breakfast, and valet parking. Definitely going back.

We ended up staying here unexpectedly for a week. It was a great stay. The rates were great for the fantastic location. The room was spacious. But the service and staff were what really deserve the 5 star review. The housekeeper Palkey was so nice and took such good care of us during our long stay. We will definitely return to this hotel after such a great stay

We are very well travelled and have stayed in hotels all across North America, and this was hands down the best stay we’ve ever had.

We booked the Residence Inn by Marriott Toronto Downtown / Entertainment District by accident while attending a conference and were initially disappointed it wasn’t on-site. I was travelling with my baby and needed to pump, so I was stressed when I realized the location. That concern disappeared almost immediately.

The service here is truly exceptional — warm and attentive. Every staff member made us feel safe, supported, and looked after in a way that goes far beyond standard hotel service.

The breakfast was outstanding — nutritious, delicious, and incredibly thoughtful, especially as a breastfeeding mom. It made busy mornings so much easier. I also experience airport anxiety, and knowing the staff were there to help and reassure us lifted a huge mental burden.

What sets this hotel apart is that it actually feels like a home away from home. The suite allowed us to live our routine comfortably while travelling, which is rare and deeply appreciated.

What started as a booking mistake turned into an unforgettable stay. We would recommend this hotel without hesitation and will absolutely be back.

Great Hotel!!! All the staff are super friendly and accommodating. Evening bartender is a great guy. If you like he'll talk to you and tell you about what he's making for you
The breakfast is excellent!! Lots of choices for food - they kept all the food fresh and looking good. The staff are nice and efficiently keep the busy dining room clean - WAY TO GO!

Only 10 mins walk from train station, CN tower and aquarium. Floor carpeting looking a bit grubby, changing area for pool needs an upgrade. Breakfast is okay as long as you don't mind scrambled egg everyday. Problem with only one working elevator during my stay which resulted in a 30 min delay getting downstairs and staff refused to extend the breakfast service closing time

Ordered food online for the first time from this restaurant; usually, we go in and dine and absolutely love the food; when we ordered the food online and picked it up, we were quite disappointed with the portion size of the theee dishes we ordered; only half of the black containers were full of the dish and each dish is about $13-14; the portion sizes were not at all adequate for the three of us who were dining; I was very upset that for such an expensive dish, only half the container was full and I called the restaurant and complained; the man simply said that is the standard portion they serve but also said that the next time I want to order, I should give his name to make sure the container is full. Very upset; I will never order food online from this restaurant again. The dine-in portions are more adequate than the pick-up orders; I guess that is what you get when you get a 10% discount for pick up orders.

Good food and good quantity. They don't dump you with a lot of food. Have taken my clients there and have had great response.

Good place to take your clients for lunch, since is close the financial district. The food is good, however the service surely can do better. The waiter discouraged us to order ice cream for dessert, and when some of us insisted it came without any fuss. Not sure why it was not recommended when asked. And if it is not that good, why is it on the menu? Overall good! Maybe my waiter was going thru a bad day

The food is not your typical Indian restaurant. We went as a group of 10 from work and everyone loved their food. The garlic naan won praise from everybody.

I didn't really get the feel of the environment because when we came in for the first time we were put in the corner. The place was presentable, staff was welcoming, the food was good but I expected better quality food for the price. I've been to many other Indian restaurants which are cheaper and tasted equally as good or much better. Their washroom needed more attention.

Really enjoyed the all-you-can-eat Indian cuisine with a colleague. Would definitely recommend this for a tasty and inexpensive lunch downtown.

This was one of the best Indian Restaurants in Toronto I have ever visited during my business tour to Canada. Such amazing food I had outside of India, very nice flavors. Butter Chicken as excellent beyond my expectation. Clean and spacious dining area with captivating ambiance and light music. Service guys are pleasing, friendly and attentive. I found moderate and comfortable prices for quality of food and services provided. Indian wines served was surprise. Never knew that India produces such wonderful wines. I had to walk step up for washroom. I appreciate if its near sitting. I highly recommend for people who are looking to settle for the best only. Two thumbs up!

Thank you Team Dhaba.

This place is great! Clean and spacey dining area. The food tastes and smells amazing and the staff is friendly.
Prices are moderate and they give complimentary entrees and mango lassi.
Thanks Dhaba for an enjoyable experience!

It want bad. Definitely worth almost 4 stars, the food is nicely spiced and flavourful, it could be warmer though. The hot plates they use are not the best.

Great choice of food with very amazing price,
I went in here with my cousin for lunch trying the buffet, we were warmly welcomed and seated by the Host of Dhaba. We started to have our lunch and found a large variation in salads. Along with it there were lots of food items we do not see easily around in Indian Restaurants. The servers were very responsive and quick to fulfil the customers' demands.
Overall it was one of the best you could expect from an Indian Restaurants.

Good food and service is great little in price side if going with children don't have small plates

The prices are a bit high. There are no children's portions. The food is excellent, very quick with the appetizers and main dishes. Excellent service and excellent food

I happened upon this place one evening for dinner, and because I was hungry and tired of looking for a place to eat, I thought I would give it a try. I ordered the Greek salad and salmon. The Greek salad was mostly lettuce covered with grated cheese and dressing with 2 olives, 2 cherry tomatoes and a few small chunks of cucumber. The cheese, dressing and 2 olives were tasty, however, I also received a lettuce stem which was very unappealing. The salmon plate was absolutely horrible. The salmon was so overcooked there were bits of it that were actually inedible. Bland minute rice, bland steamed chunky vegetables, a few wedges of potato that tasted like lemon and bland overcooked salmon for $29. Like I said, I was hungry and tired after travelling to Toronto. I choked back that plate of "food" and left in disbelief that this place averages 3.8 stars. My server was lovely which is why I'm rating 2 stars - which should be the average Google rating. Never eat here!
21.12.2017 Jefferson
Go here if you are between 40 and 70+, and want to spend some pension money. Dont expect great service. Food is soft and bland at times, salty at times but it also comes a mismatch of presumably Greek flavors even tho none of the "chefs" are Greek. If they are they must be tired of cooking. Prices are high so you feel you had a good meal. Wine selection ok.
08.12.2017 Sanj
Great food and service. Went there at lunch and we had a reservation so got seated inordinately. Orders were all taken and were correct upon serving. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great place to get some Greek food. Prices were in line with any restaurant downtown.
