Oakwood Premier is extremely convenient - just one metro station ride on Line 1 from Guangzhou East rail station, and ＜10 mins walk from Exit A.
The check in, restaurant and housekeeping staff members are courteous and responsive to our needs - extra towels, restaurant bookings etc. It is a welcoming change from other hotel chains in other countries which we experienced lately.
The room is clean and spacious. There is however too many furniture (probably due to accommodating long term guests who need plenty of storage). Less furniture would be ideal with more walking space and effective opening of doors, eg bedroom door, if open, will block access to the wardrobe door.
The breakfast buffet spread is sufficient - Chinese and western dishes. The dining room is huge, bright and spacious with large windows. The F&B knowledge could be improved though eg having available the appropriate condiments with the buffet items (calamari rings, delicious but no dips to go with), fresh waffle with no maple syrup (just 4 different fruit jams and 1 peanut butter options), crispy bacon (but not cripsy in reality), Chinese dim sum (with no chili oil/sauce, vinegar etc) at lukewarm temperature (the steaming switch was deliberately kept at OFF though I switched it to ON several times.)
We will be back though. The value is in the location, clean and spacious room. Not the food.

For this business trip, I chose a hotel apartment. The room was really spacious and well laid out. The biggest surprise was how fully equipped the kitchen was – it came with a complete set of cooking utensils and tableware. Plus, the washing machine had a drying function, which was super convenient for handling any dirty laundry on the go. In the evening, I checked out the hotel's trendy restaurant, and the ambiance was indeed fantastic. Lots of beautiful women taking photos, lovely food and lovely people! The Western dishes were quite good too. If I have a longer business trip in Guangzhou next time, I'll definitely pick this hotel apartment again; the location is great! Highly recommend it!

The hotel lobby on the 15th floor is very grand. The room features floor-to-ceiling windows, offering a spacious and comfortable feel with a beautiful city view. It also comes with a large kitchen and a washing machine with a dryer function, so all the amenities are fully equipped.
Transportation nearby is convenient; it's easy to get a taxi or walk to the subway. Given the location and price, it offers excellent value for money.

I absolutely have to recommend this understated hotel! The location is incredibly convenient, and the room amenities and facilities make you feel right at home. Downstairs, there are tons of food options, catering to all budgets and tastes. Plus, there are actually 5 shopping malls nearby to explore! I felt like three days wasn't enough time to see everything on this business trip. Next time, I'm definitely bringing my family. It's so easy to get to Canton Tower and Chimelong via direct subway lines. I also noticed they have a Western restaurant on the 16th floor with such a romantic setting – perfect for a date night or a special occasion!

The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient to get around. The room itself has a kitchen, a fridge, and even a washing machine. Plus, the gym is open 24/7, which is perfect for anyone who's disciplined about their workouts! The front desk staff were really quick with check-in, and when I asked about the surrounding area, they patiently answered all my questions. The overall service was meticulous and thoughtful. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Guangzhou!

I usually book business hotels, but this time I tried an apartment-style one and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is centrally located, offering a quiet retreat in the heart of the city. The room was well-equipped with a washing machine and refrigerator, and the space was quite generous with lovely floor-to-ceiling windows. This short stay was a great experience, and I'd definitely choose this place again for longer trips.

A hotel with an excellent experience! The room environment is very clean and tidy, and the service attitude is great. The hotel is very clean and neat, the room feels very comfortable, the bathroom space is very ample, and it even comes with a washing machine. The location is also very convenient, and the staff provided excellent and thoughtful service, helping us with our issues. A very satisfying stay!

This was my second stay here, and they proactively upgraded me to a suite. The bedroom was spacious with floor-to-ceiling windows and a great view outside. The bed was very comfortable. Even though it's in the bustling Tianhe area, it was surprisingly quiet.
The restaurant environment was also nice, with a trendy, 'influencer-esque' vibe.
It's convenient for dining and shopping nearby; you can walk to Zhengjia Plaza and Taikoo Hui within 10 minutes. They also have family rooms, so I might consider bringing my kids here for a stay during the summer vacation.

Very good location with shopping malls and eateries are within walking distance. Rooms are spacious and clean. We had a pleasant stay. And a big thanks to the hotel staff for the birthday surprise!
