Reviews
Ben was a dream helping me set up my airport transportation to the hotel and welcomed me upon arrival, even assisting me with my luggage. I was not expecting such service. The hotel is quite large with multiple levels, it was nice to have a friendly face welcome me upon arrival to ensure I got to the right place. He’s truly an asset to the concierge team.
The harbor view room was worth the upgrade, and offered a bit more space for me to stretch out. The view is lovely and the sitting area features a nice bench.
The Regency Club is surely one of the best I have been in during my stays with Hyatt from a food quality and service standpoint. They modestly describe the breakfast as continental, but far exceeds this description. Eggs to order, mimosas, tea bar, and large variety of hot and cold offerings. I did also dine in the cafe for breakfast, and was impressed at the selection there as well. You cant go wrong either way but I think that the club upgrade offers a sufficient breakfast if you are on the fence.
Location is also impressive, as a first time visitor in Hong Kong the hotels proximity to shopping and transportation will allow me to check all my tourist boxes in between business.
I find this very disappointing and unacceptable for a hotel restaurant, especially one under the Hyatt name. A guest should not be expected to remember a phone number, save it, and then leave a message through WhatsApp just to make a simple enquiry or reservation. I later tried to provide feedback to the duty manager, but was told he/she was not available.
For a luxury hotel group, basic telephone etiquette and guest service should be standard. This experience has made me question whether this is the level of service expected from Hyatt, and whether membership is really worth continuing.
Do note the drop-off experience was slightly unusual, as we had to access the hotel via B3 due to its connection with the K11 shopping mall (not K11 Musea) not having a lobby drop off area at road level.
As Club room guests, we were escorted directly to the 23rd floor regency club for check-in, where we were greeted by some of the friendliest and most cheerful front desk associates. Special thanks to Zoey, Sofie, and the rest of the team for making the check-in process with 2 young children and a senior family member seamless. They also snagged us a room upgrade, were consistently attentive throughout our stay and helped arrange our taxi to the airport at check-out
The highlights of the hotel were the scenic harbour views, the convenient direct access to the adjoining mall (which has a lot of eateries, a grocer and some retail shops) and the daily 5.30pm prosecco and canapés at the club floor, offering a generous selection that was sometimes sufficient to replace dinner.
Overall, this was a memorable stay made even better by the outstanding service and genuine hospitality of the hotel team, would highly recommend giving this hotel for a short stay in HK.
Club lounge Zoey maintained her positive and calm attitude. She was accommodating and always wear a welcoming smile on the 23rd floor reception. Went the extra mile to ensure my family comfort.
Jacky at Lobby check in also had good and helpful attitude.
The cleaning ladies are all very good, swift and professional.
It’s a rather hard decision but I would hesitate to recommend.
