I booked a room with breakfast for two through Ctrip, but at the front desk I was told I needed to scan a QR code to register and activate an account; otherwise, they wouldn't be able to see my booking included breakfast. This is the first time I've encountered this explanation from Huazhu Hotels Group, given my many stays. They also claimed I booked through an agency, which I found incomprehensible.

I requested a late check-out, but the front desk said they could only extend it to 12:30 (30 minutes). In such a remote location with ample room availability, a 30-minute delay felt incredibly stingy.

I then mentioned I'm a Ctrip member with two late check-out privileges. The front desk suggested I contact Ctrip directly. After contacting Ctrip, the hotel agreed to extend my check-out until 2 PM, which resolved the issue satisfactorily.

The cleanliness was average; there was hair left by previous guests on the bathroom floor.

The hotel is relatively new and quiet; I was generally satisfied.

Firstly, being close to Hongqiao Airport, I was already mentally prepared for the airplane noise. I wouldn't have stayed here unless I was rushing to catch a flight, so it was acceptable. Secondly, regarding hygiene, the bed sheets weren't changed. Every time I stay in a hotel, I lift the covers to check for hair, and this hotel had obvious hair on the bed, and there was also hair under the bed, meaning the sheets and duvet cover hadn't been changed!

Check-in was quick and efficient, and the front desk service was prompt. The room was clean, bright, and cozy. The bedding was comfortable, providing an excellent night's sleep. Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options to suit all tastes. Definitely worth choosing again.

This hotel is a bit older and can't quite compare to some of the newer HUAZHU hotels that have opened recently in the area. However, its biggest advantage is its proximity to the subway. In the past few years, a lot of new commercial spaces have popped up nearby, making it much more convenient to grab a meal or do some shopping. The room rates here fluctuate quite a bit, with weekends actually being cheaper than weekdays, indicating it primarily caters to business travelers.
