I highly recommend Conrad Shanghai for first-time visitors to the city. The neon lights nearby are incredibly cinematic, and besides the great location, the hotel staff are fantastic, especially Ivy, Evelyn, and Thena, who provided very attentive service.

Overall, pretty good! For those driving, make sure to go to the first counter at the front desk to register your license plate and get a parking voucher. Had a wonderful trip! We were celebrating a 70th birthday, and the hotel arranged room decorations, welcome fruits, a cake, and a birthday card. The attention to detail was exceptional. I've been coming here since it opened in 1998, and I've always trusted The Ritz's service – it truly feels like a home away from home every time.

This is an older hotel, and the lobby entrance still looks grand. However, I noticed there aren't any doormen or staff assisting with the elevators anymore. Perhaps they're short-staffed. This time, there were a lot of foreigners staying here. The couple across the hall even went out at 4 AM, and the sound of their door opening was quite loud – really something else!

We had an awesome stay!! Winnie checked us in and she was so patient and friendly! She upgraded our room and asked if we need a late check out which is really sweat of her. Room was spacious and the bed was so comfy. Location is very strategic, within walking distance from line 2 metro. Highly recommended!
