I highly recommend Conrad Shanghai for first-time visitors to the city. The neon lights nearby are incredibly cinematic, and besides the great location, the hotel staff are fantastic, especially Ivy, Evelyn, and Thena, who provided very attentive service.

Overall, pretty good! For those driving, make sure to go to the first counter at the front desk to register your license plate and get a parking voucher. For a Radisson brand hotel with those prices, the room is VERY poorly appointed, even though I was assigned the cheapest room. Old carpets, a TV the size of a computer monitor, and an incredibly old and dirty curtain. The only good thing is its proximity to the Metro station, but I’d rather walk two blocks and stay at the Conrad, Holiday Inn, or Crowne Plaza for a similar price. I travel every year...

The Radisson's location is super convenient for getting around. Jackie was so kind and helpful when she called me beforehand, she even arranged our room in advance so we didn't have to wait to check in.
