We’ve enjoyed the stay in Shangri-La. The hotel was a bit overcrowded (the dates we’ve checked in was also the dates of APEC forum), but we didn’t feel it overall. Great tennis court and very friendly and helpful staff at the reception. Hope to come back soon!
Everything was absolutely wonderful, the environment is truly beyond words! It was stunning! On our way out, after checking out, as we were driving off, there was a puddle in the basement parking lot. I stepped in it, and it was sticky! Something fell to the ground, and it was yellow... I was so shocked at the time that I didn't take a picture! Despite that, everything else was beautiful, and that...
Revisiting this place, I was most worried about my child's disrupted routine and picky eating. However, this hotel truly embodies 'child-friendly' in every detail. From the ready-to-use children's slippers and toothbrushes to the adorable yellow duck decorations, my baby absolutely loved watching the boats come and go on the river from behind the large French windows. A good night's sleep for the whole...
I visited during the May Day holiday. The front desk service was good, and the room was clean. The cleaning staff were friendly and thorough. I loved the beautiful view from the room, especially the night view. It's close to the Pudong Art Museum, and it was lovely to take a walk downstairs in the morning or go for a bike ride. There are also many Western restaurants downstairs, which was very convenient...
A very satisfying stay! The view was fantastic, with unbeatable river scenery. The room was incredibly comfortable and the service was attentive and spot-on. My husband forgot his charger at another hotel the day before, and after calling customer service, a replacement charger was delivered very quickly. We really appreciate that! For families with children, the sofa bed can be opened, making it very...
The location is superb, and the river view from the room is breathtaking. The bedding is comfortable, and the service is incredibly responsive. The breakfast is rich and varied, catering to both Western and Chinese tastes. Although the room's decor and facilities are a bit dated, it's understandable for a hotel that's been open for decades. Overall, it was a perfect stay.

Good hotel. Good service. Thanks to Ivy, Thena for helping me during my stay and Red who help me check in smoothly.
I highly recommend Conrad Shanghai for first-time visitors to the city. The neon lights nearby are incredibly cinematic, and besides the great location, the hotel staff are fantastic, especially Ivy, Evelyn, and Thena, who provided very attentive service.
Overall, pretty good! For those driving, make sure to go to the first counter at the front desk to register your license plate and get a parking voucher. The location is very convenient, and the staff, Freya, CICI, and IVY, are very responsible. Freya, in particular, made a great impression during check-in.
The hotel is clean and tidy with excellent facilities. Daisy at the front desk upgraded our room, and Diana and Quan-G provided wonderful service. IVY and Evelyn were also very patient. The room was quiet and comfortable, offering good value for money, making our stay very relaxing. We would definitely consider staying at the Conrad again on our next visit to Shanghai.
What a unique stay! The staff were especially warm and patient, and the room was really nice. I loved the shampoo, and they even give out welcome gifts. I really love Conrad! Diana Lily Quain G provided excellent service.
Excellent location with stunning high-floor views. The room was clean and spacious, and the amenities were comprehensive. Evelyn, Kylie, and Ivy provided attentive and friendly service. The dining quality was also top-notch. Overall, a superb stay perfect for both travel and vacation. Highly recommend!

I can’t recommend Shanghai Marriott Marquis City Centre enough, largely thanks to Cora, the Guest Service Manager. She went above and beyond to make our family’s stay special.
Knowing it was my husband’s birthday month, Cora surprised us with a beautiful plate of complimentary welcome fruits and a delicious birthday cake. She also helped us confirm a dinner reservation, taking the stress out of our...
Great stay! The rooms are spacious and clean, with expansive river views. The executive lounge offers high-quality food and quick service. The hotel is conveniently located with excellent facilities and professional service, making it suitable for both business and leisure travelers. Highly recommended.
Good location close to Nanjing pedestrian street with many great food places nearby. Very friendly staff and comfortable beds.
Daisy is the best receptionist ever! Helped with everything! The place is nice and clear, I love it.
The room was clean and large. However, the check-in process time took quite long. Most of the staff do not speak English --- only the check-in counters staff can.
Anyway, the location is superb!
Maria Hou is very helpful and friendly, the view from the room is fantastic. Everything was perfect!

My recent stay at the Shanghai Fuyue Hotel in Songjiang New City exceeded my expectations. It's a high-value luxury hotel.
Upon arrival, the grand, high-ceilinged lobby immediately caught my eye. The decor is opulent and tasteful, with magnificent chandeliers and lush greenery creating a fantastic ambiance – someone even joked, 'I thought I was in Macau!' Check-in at the front desk was efficient,...
Extremely satisfied with my stay! The hotel truly lives up to its high-end reputation and has a fantastic ambiance. The room was very spacious, well-designed, and had excellent natural light. The soundproofing was superb, making it wonderfully quiet and peaceful. The cleanliness was rigorously up to standard, and the staff were gentle, responsive, and paid great attention to detail. This is definitely...
Perfect score! The room was clean and odor-free, and the staff were incredibly warm and attentive. The bedding was super comfortable, and it offered excellent value for money. I'll definitely stay here again next time! ✨ The hotel also has a lovely inner courtyard with great views, perfect for taking beautiful photos.
I wholeheartedly recommend the Shanghai Fuyue Hotel; my stay was absolutely five-star!
The hotel boasts an incredibly spacious and impressive lobby, very popular on social media, with a grand design and a pleasant fragrance – it feels high-end and luxurious. The room itself is expansive with excellent natural light, spotlessly clean, and the facilities are well-maintained and look new. The bathroom...
We stayed at Fuyue with our child, and mealtime was completely stress-free! We bought the buffet dinner on-site, which had steak, desserts, and ice cream that kids love. The seafood was incredibly fresh, even still twitching – we could eat it with complete confidence. For breakfast the next day, there were soup dumplings, steamed buns, desserts, and fruits that my child enjoyed, all varied and fresh...
The hotel lobby is grand and bright. The front desk and butler service were very attentive and responsive. The main thing is they have a gym, a pool, and a kids' club, which was great for my child. My kid was in a super good mood all day long, so I genuinely recommend it. Thumbs up!

Extremely satisfied. The service was excellent. All requests were handled promptly, and the hotel's location is superb with convenient transportation. I'll definitely stay at the Kempinski again next time.
Stayed at this hotel for a two-night, three-day trip during the May Day holiday. The service was pretty good, and check-in went smoothly. However, the soundproofing is terrible. Doors slamming shut are incredibly loud – 'bang, bang, bang' – and you can hear every word clearly when people are talking in the hallway. On top of that, I lost some valuables in the hotel. When I went to the front desk to...
A truly excellent stay! The hotel's decor is luxurious and elegant, making a grand impression. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive, and the children's amenities they provided were fantastic, even including a small toy. Our room was well-equipped and spotlessly clean, and the view from the window was beautiful. Overall, it was superb, and we'd definitely come back again if we have...
I booked a deluxe river-view room. While the decor was a bit old-fashioned, the view from the window was truly beautiful. When we first arrived, our room wasn't ready, but after lunch, we were able to check in smoothly. The next day, I wanted to request a late checkout until 2 PM, and the hotel quickly approved it. The location was very convenient, and the stay was pleasant. The breakfast had a good...
This is my third time staying at the Kempinski, and I once again chose the Business River View Room. I made a note in advance and called to confirm, and I'm grateful to the hotel for arranging a room on the 20th floor with an excellent river view. This time I was traveling with my mother, who loves river views, so every detail was important. A special shout-out to the hotel's room service – the staff...

The service was absolutely amazing, especially Lorna! She called ahead to arrange our room and, after learning it was my girlfriend's and my anniversary, she thoughtfully prepared a cake and a small gift. The hotel is very new and luxurious, and the woody scent is delightful. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and even upgraded me to a Pearl River View room, which also included a complimentary breakfast. The breakfast spread was amazing, with both Chinese and Western options, and a great variety of dishes. The breakfast hours were also long enough, making it a super comfortable experience...
Had a fantastic stay! The room offered an unobstructed, front-row view and was very clean and comfortable. The indoor heated pool was large, with crystal-clear water at a perfect temperature. When I checked in, I asked the front desk for a room with a better view, and the staff member immediately rearranged it for me.
The room was great with a lovely view, clean and comfortable. Special thanks to Anisa for arranging our room in advance, which made our check-in super smooth without any waiting.
Returned to Grand Hyatt again~ This stay was great, the service was superb! Anisa was very patient and helped us arrange rooms in advance. Both rooms were on the same floor with nice views. The rooms were clean and tidy. Will definitely come back if I have the chance.
I frequently visit the bar upstairs, and this time I booked a stay at this hotel. The service was excellent, and the view from the window was fantastic. It was clean and comfortable, and I was very pleased with the river view this time. Next time, I'd like to book a room with a Bund view.

The hotel's location is fantastic! Even though it's an older property, it's very clean, and the staff are incredibly warm and attentive. After experiencing other places, this one truly stands out and is just perfect!
The room design is a bit dated. The hotel's name is 'New Jinjiang,' which is quite a misnomer, as it's not new at all! 😄 It's conveniently located near the business district with easy access to transportation. The environment is beautiful, tidy, clean, comfortable, and well-ventilated. The service attitude is excellent.
Outstanding stay at Jin Jiang Tower. Exceeded expectations in every way. Excellent location, elegant atmosphere, spacious and comfortable room, and truly impeccable service.

This has always been my go-to hotel for business trips. The location is great, the hallways are quiet, and the rooms are clean and tidy. The breakfast offers a good variety too. Plus, the transportation nearby is very convenient, and the area is well-developed with plenty of places to explore within walking distance.
We stayed on the 12th floor, in a room close to the elevator. The room was spotless and the bedding smelled fresh and clean, not damp at all. The housekeeping lady on our floor was incredibly kind; every time she saw me, she'd ask if I needed water or tissues and told me not to hesitate to ask for anything. Huge thanks to Elio for the warm and thoughtful service! I rarely leave reviews, but I absolutely have to commend Kerry Hotel and Elio this time. The hotel's location is excellent. The playground and pool are perfect for tiring out the kids. There's a shopping mall and a park nearby, which is very convenient. My children had a great time. The hotel's three restaurants offer good quality and value for money. The only minor drawback is that children's bathrobes, slippers, and toiletries were not provided.
This time I brought my child to Shanghai and stayed at the Shangri-La, Kerry, and Melia hotels. Traveling with a child, I really have to give Kerry a 10/10 – it's truly the ultimate hotel for family travel!

I’ve stayed at the Westin Bund Center a couple of times now. It’s a great choice if you wanna show off to visitors. The views are lovely (even if you don’t get to see the bund). The hotel's location is excellent, close to everything. The decor and design are luxurious and grand. Upon check-in, we were charged a small upgrade fee and received a spacious suite, which made us feel right at home. The executive lounge offered plenty of food and drinks in an elegant setting. Plus, the hotel's prices were very reasonable.
Overall the hotel is ok but nothing to shout about. The hotel is located at a walkable distance to the Bund, Nanjing rood and Yuyuan Garden.Lobby is grand and the breakfast is slightly above average. The mattress in the room was too soft; I completely sank into it when lying down, offering no support whatsoever. After waking up, my back would often ache. Although the air conditioning was blowing after I adjusted the temperature, the room temperature barely dropped, making it a bit stuffy with the windows and doors closed.
The hotel room was quite spacious and well-equipped. This time, I also enjoyed the afternoon tea buffet, which you can have in the roomy cafe or the beautiful outdoor garden. It was definitely great value for money and I'd recommend it to everyone.
The room was very comfortable, clean and tidy, and the bedding was excellent. All services were good. I needed to iron some clothes, and the front desk promptly had a staff member bring an iron and ironing board, which was super helpful. Traveling with kids, the executive lounge benefits were pretty much nonexistent. At best, we could get some drinks downstairs. And they weren't flexible at all. I had two adults and two kids. Initially, I was worried the hotel might be too old, so I booked the J Hotel at Shanghai Tower across the street instead. Overall, I was quite satisfied with this stay, but the facilities are definitely a bit old. There's no smart toilet, the showerhead is inconvenient, and the TV signal is poor. It was still very good, and the hotel management should really thank their frontline staff. This 5-star review is purely for them! Thanks for all their hard work and dedication 👍
Environment: They're still using guest rooms for business events, completely disregarding the privacy and safety of their in-house guests. This is an absolute disgrace for a 5-star hotel!!!!
The environment here is incredibly livable, surrounded by lush greenery, making the air feel wonderfully fresh. Getting around is also very straightforward. The location is excellent, about a 30-minute drive to Shanghai Hongqiao Airport. Speaking of Hongqiao, this area caters to Japanese residents, with many long-term expats and business travelers. The location is unbeatable, the room is quiet, and the breakfast is also good. Oliver provided excellent service 👍
For a Radisson brand hotel with those prices, the room is VERY poorly appointed, even though I was assigned the cheapest room. Old carpets, a TV the size of a computer monitor, and an incredibly old and dirty curtain. The only good thing is its proximity to the Metro station, but I’d rather walk two blocks and stay at the Conrad, Holiday Inn, or Crowne Plaza for a similar price. I travel every year...

My No. 1 choice of stay in Shanghai! Location, luxury and service standards, size of room and the view, convenience of being connected to the entire mall and Jingan train station.
I've stayed at the Jing An Shangri-La multiple times, and the experience is consistently great. My only regret this time was booking the wrong hotel, which led to a last-minute reservation here, and unfortunately, no twin-bed room was available. Despite my efforts during pre-arrival communication and at check-in, I still couldn't get a twin room. I even left my favorite bottle of drinks in the fridge...
This room type is definitely not suitable for elderly guests or children. As shown in the pictures, the shower and toilet areas are open-plan, making the floor very slippery after a shower, and there's a high risk of falling when using the toilet.

We were in Shanghai for a US visa appointment, and the hotel's location is perfect, so close to the embassy. I'll definitely choose The St. Regis Jing'an again next time I'm in Shanghai.
Big shout out to Koi, the butler at St. Regis Jing'an, for their professional and dedicated service. The bathroom door was broken, making noise every time it opened or closed. The room assignment was completely wrong. I booked a triple room and even paid an extra fee in advance, and specifically mentioned it during check-in. However, upon going upstairs, I found the allocated room didn't have the extra bed. I had to wait an hour to get a new room, which totally messed up our dinner plans.
The room was clean and I even got an upgrade, highly recommend! The butler service was excellent, special thanks to Echo. After a city walk, I returned to the lobby to rest, and the lobby bar attendant even brought me hot tea – fantastic service!
The environment: The smell in the lobby when you first walk in is too strong and quite unpleasant.
Service: Lacks attention to detail. The server led me to my breakfast table and even poured me coffee, yet didn't notice that the napkin holder on that table was nearly empty and needed refilling.
Facilities: The curtains were broken as soon as I checked in, and I had to call engineering late at night...

Thanks to the hotel for the upgrade, the views and location are fantastic. The hotel is quite conveniently located, close to several dining streets and commercial areas. It's a popular hotel, so it's always lively with people coming and going. The pool tends to get a bit crowded in the afternoon.
I stayed at the Shanghai Longemont Hotel for a business trip, and my overall experience exceeded all expectations! The room was spotlessly clean, with no dusty corners. The deluxe king room was spacious, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered an amazing view of the city skyline. The hotel's ambiance is upscale and grand, and its excellent location makes getting around incredibly convenient. The front...
Definitely a great stay! The room was spacious and the facilities were spotless. For just about 100 RMB more than a budget hotel, you get a five-star experience. The breakfast was also excellent. I was so impressed after one night that I immediately booked two more nights for June.
My go-to hotel in Shanghai. The transportation is quite convenient, with elevated roads right next to the hotel and dedicated bus lanes, so it's very easy to hail a taxi. Manager Xiao Yin at the front desk is diligent and polite to guests, which is great.
Service: I was very satisfied with the service. Both the front desk staff and the housekeeping aunties were quick, efficient, and enthusiastic.
Environment: The location is quite convenient. It's very easy to get to the nearby Longzhimeng (Dragon's Dream) shopping mall, and also very convenient to visit the Columbia Circle. It's a great area for a walk with kids.
Cleanliness: The cleanliness was...

Stayed at the Swissotel many times while traveling to Shanghai . Excellent location in the middle of JingAn. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Hotel has been around for years but overall maintained good condition. The room is reasonably spacious for 2- sufficient walking and luggage space.
Didn’t use any facilities.
Easy access hotel to these Michelin restaurant and best cafe. Walking distance. Shopping and restaurants opp hotel. Metro next door.
The hotel was in a very good location near Jing’an temple, but a little old and outdated compared to other hotels around the area. However, overall they are good for the money.
The location is superb, convenient for everything. The room was cleaned meticulously every day, and the front desk staff were polite and helpful. The doormen were also very attentive and tried their best. Many thanks. The only thing that truly surprised me was how poor the breakfast was for a 5-star hotel. I'm not even talking about the variety of food, but rather the quality of the ingredients themselves...
The location is unbeatable—super convenient and right in the heart of everything. The rooms here are impressively spacious and spotlessly clean, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring.
The room was very satisfying. The lobby had a subtle and pleasant scent, and the breakfast was abundant.

The hotel has a fantastic environment and offers a great stay. The room was clean, hygienic, and cozily decorated. The floor-to-ceiling windows provided a beautiful and relaxing view. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Shanghai.
The hotel's location is super convenient for getting around, with multiple subway and bus lines nearby. It's easy to go anywhere from here. The rooms are comfortable, and as a Marriott property, the quality is guaranteed.
Service is good, only one point, they dont allow wearing of in room slippers to breakfast area..? Why so.?
The hotel's location is super convenient, it's clean and hygienic, and the service is very professional. I'd also recommend the breakfast buffet; it has a great variety, especially the noodle soup I had for three days straight – so many toppings, I never got tired of it. It's very close to the subway station and easy to find. It's just two stops on foot to the Shanghai Natural History Museum, which...
Nice clean good hotel with not so bad location. It is acceptable for business trips.
Top-notch facilities, both hardware and software! Excellent service! Fantastic breakfast! Prime location!

The atrium on the first floor of this hotel has a nice ambiance, perfect for meetings. The only downside was that the front desk staff were cold and lacked a service mindset during check-in.
I regularly stay at the Himalaya for trade shows, and Vicky is always so enthusiastic and helps me out with so many things. I'll definitely come back and find you again for the next show!
This hotel completely blew my expectations for affordable accommodation out of the water! The room was spacious and bright, the bedding was clean and wrinkle-free, and Vicky provided excellent service. Plus, there are plenty of dining options nearby. It's definitely the best value for money at this price point. I'll absolutely be staying here again next time!
Served by Vicky, it was a pleasant and friendly stay. The rooms are spacious and amenities are good.
Five-star review! The hotel environment is quiet and comfortable, and the room was exceptionally clean with great attention to detail. The facilities are comprehensive; the hot water and internet speed were excellent. The staff were gentle and thoughtful, responding promptly to all requests. Transportation is convenient, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. It felt safe and comfortable to...
The hotel's location is its biggest advantage, being incredibly close to the exhibition center. The service was also excellent; the first round of drinks in the mini-bar fridge was a generous touch. The staff went above and beyond to fulfill all requests, especially a tall, slim lady with glasses at the front desk who was particularly kind and friendly. I'm very grateful for her complete care during...
