Great location, it’s walking distance to Wen Shu Yuan. It’s a good but old hotel. Hotel breakfast section needs to be improved to meet foreign guests expectation.

Came to Chengdu for a concert and to see the pandas, and ended up choosing a hotel in the city center that wasn't as bustling as Chunxi Road. The room was quite spacious, with a classic star-rated hotel vibe. The facilities and service were both pretty good. They even gave us a complimentary 'nine-grid' snack platter which was delicious, making it excellent value for money. Right opposite is Wenshu Monastery, and during the Qingming Festival, there were Buddhist rituals happening, making it a very special temple worth visiting. It was quite an experience to listen to the chanting amidst the tall trees.

The room was spacious and quiet, I forgot to take photos. The service was excellent, from the cleaning staff to the front desk and restaurant personnel, everyone was smiling, friendly, and very nice.

They gave us a blessed Wenshu Monastery 18-seed bracelet, which my child loved, and the nine-grid specialty snacks were both beautiful and delicious.

You can tell the hotel management is very dedicated. Thumbs up, I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Chengdu.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, very close to the Wenshu Monastery commercial area, and transportation is super easy. The environment is clean and tidy, rooms are well-equipped, and the staff are warm and professional. It offers excellent value for money. The breakfast is especially delicious, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time. The front desk service was warm and thoughtful, and they even upgraded my room for free.

I rarely write reviews, but this time I'm genuinely impressed! They had everything: little gifts, snacks, a panda charm my child loved, and even afternoon tea. The Dan Dan noodles completely won over my German child, who now begs for them daily! 😆 The butler service was incredibly thoughtful; they even prepared longan and red date soup for us. Breakfast was extra lavish, and the pastries were especially amazing. Our flight arrived in the morning, so we were early, but the hotel didn't mention any waiting. Instead, they immediately found us a clean room to check into. Then, realizing our child might be rowdy near the elevator, they promptly upgraded our room since other rooms weren't ready yet. The lovely lady even helped us with our luggage. The kids were thrilled, and the beds were very comfortable. Oh, and the toiletries are fantastic! My two kids' wild hair became incredibly smooth just from using the shampoo. The whole experience was truly superb! 🫰

This was my second stay here. The hotel has an excellent location, very close to Wenshu Monastery subway station and Wenshu Monastery itself is just a short walk away. It's also not far from Taikoo Li and Chunxi Road. The hotel is clean and hygienic, and the staff are polite and proactively greet guests. The concierge lady was particularly warm and attentive, offering thoughtful care. Thumbs up! 👍 I'll definitely stay here again! 😃

I booked two rooms simultaneously, but only one had welcome fruit. The room layouts were also different, even though both were on the 12th floor. The hotel claimed the welcome fruit was random, which felt like an excuse. Why should we have different amenities for the same room rate?
The breakfast was mainly Chinese, with a good selection of vegetables, but none of them tasted very good. The Western pastries were also quite mediocre.

This is a fantastic hotel. After a long day of sightseeing, all I wanted to do was come back here to relax. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby, and food delivery usually arrives within 20-30 minutes. I highly recommend the breakfast; there was a small dessert I absolutely loved – I ate five of them!

The hotel is conveniently located directly opposite Wenchangyuan, but getting to other attractions isn't as easy. The air conditioning in the hotel might be a central single-cycle system, as it only provided heat. It felt stuffy without it on, but too hot with it running, so I didn't get a good night's sleep either night. The soundproofing was decent, and the breakfast selection was pretty good. They also offer free parking.
