The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location was excellent. Everything was great, except for the slight inconvenience of not having a drying rack. The high ceilings are nice in the summer, but it can feel a bit cold in winter, taking a long time for the heating to warm up the space. Overall, it's fantastic value for money. Ascott is definitely a top choice for family travel.

Family: 5 people (grandpa, grandma, dad, mom, daughter)

Whenever we travel as a family during summer or winter breaks, Ascott Group brands (Ascott, Somerset, Citadines) are always our top choice for hotels, and our trip to Chengdu and Chongqing was no exception.

The 114 sqm two-bedroom deluxe suite offered an absolutely fantastic experience! The layout, with 2 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, 2 bathrooms, and 2 walk-in closets, was incredibly spacious. The functional areas were clearly and logically divided, and all the kitchen and bathroom facilities (induction hob, range hood, refrigerator, washing machine, dryer) were fully equipped, making it especially suitable for family travel.

What was even more heartwarming was the hotel's service. Every staff member at the hotel was exceptionally warm and thoughtful.

Front Desk: Quickly processed check-in, arranged an extra set of children's toothbrushes and slippers, and reminded the elderly to use the anti-slip mat when showering.
Concierge: Fast luggage storage/retrieval and thoughtful guidance for getting around.
Housekeeping: Incredibly patient and responsive to any request. The daily tidying was clean and neat, showing great attention to detail.
Manager: A special thank you to the manager, who paid close attention to our stay experience throughout. Whenever we met, they would proactively greet us and ask if we were comfortable and if the facilities were working smoothly. Upon learning we were in Chengdu for sightseeing, they even thoughtfully recommended local tour routes and authentic regional dishes.

The hotel breakfast offered a rich variety and excellent taste, with the addition of local specialties like 'chaoshou' (Sichuan wontons) and 'dandan mian' (Sichuan noodles). After a hearty meal, we were energized and ready to start our day's itinerary.

The hotel is located in the core area of South Second Ring Road, making transportation incredibly convenient. Metro Line 1 and 3 are right next door, and ride-hailing services are quick to respond (arriving within 5 minutes). Downstairs is Raffles City Plaza, which combines shopping, dining, leisure, and entertainment. You can find everything from Sichuan cuisine, hotpot, Northeast Chinese cuisine, Cantonese cuisine, fast food, coffee, and milk tea – making dining, drinking, and entertainment super convenient.

We were extremely satisfied with our stay during this trip to Chengdu. We will continue to choose hotels under the Ascott Group in the future and highly recommend them to our friends!

The location is super convenient! The hotel has direct access to Raffles City, so you don't have to go outside and walk around, which is really great in winter. The robot food delivery is also very efficient. The front desk staff were very polite and even proactively asked if I needed anything.

I was there for a table tennis match, and the hotel is right across the street, which was incredibly convenient. It felt very safe and clean. Highly recommend!

First of all, I'd like to thank the young lady at the front desk. She was incredibly helpful on the phone, guiding our ride-hailing driver to the apartment entrance, and then upgraded our room for free during check-in, even throwing in an extra day of complimentary double breakfast for us.

**Amenities**: The room itself was very satisfying – incredibly spacious with complete facilities. While the furniture was a bit dated, all the appliances were top brands like Bose, Dyson, Electrolux, and Sony. The breakfast spread was comprehensive, offering both Chinese and Western options, and even some hot dishes. The hotel's location is downtown; although not as bustling as Chunxi Road, the apartment is inside Raffles City, and the subway station is just across the square. Simple shopping and getting around were quite convenient.

**Suggestions**: Recently, Raffles City switched the entrance and exit for motor vehicles, causing navigation systems to consistently misdirect us to the wrong apartment entrance, leading to a lot of unnecessary hassle. I suggest the apartment and various navigation systems update the new routes. One thing I absolutely have to complain about is that the cold air conditioning system in the room was completely shut off. The room was so hot that we didn't get any good rest during our stay. I've never encountered this issue at other brand hotels I've stayed at; guests have always been able to adjust the temperature to be warmer if they felt cold, or cooler if they felt hot. There was never a situation where the room 'decided' it was cold for the guest, and that was that. I don't know if this is an unwritten rule for all apartments, so I'll just consider it 'when in Rome' this time. I won't give a low rating (as other aspects were well done), but I must point this out in the review. If this policy doesn't change, I definitely won't consider staying at your apartment again in the same month, even though I'm very satisfied with the room type, value for money, and everything else. After all, a comfortable rest is the most important thing.

Finally, a piece of advice unrelated to the stay experience, for friends planning to visit Chengdu: If you have a choice, pick Shuangliu Airport over Tianfu. Shuangliu is very close to the city center. If you're flying into Tianfu, it's best to book your airport transfers in advance through Ctrip or other platforms.

Whenever I'm in Chengdu for a business trip, I always stay here. It offers great value for money, and I recommend booking a room with breakfast included. The Raffles City shopping mall is nearby, making it convenient for shopping. It's also close to the subway, and far enough from the hustle and bustle of Chunxi Road. Highly recommended.

Came here for the mixed team competition, and the hotel's location is excellent. It's conveniently located near a subway station, directly across from the Provincial Sports Stadium. The room was quite spacious and clean, and the service was good – they even provided complimentary fruit and drinks. The only minor downside was that breakfast was a bit too simple. On the 3rd floor, there's a Kuanlai Hotpot restaurant, and Raffles City Mall is right downstairs, making it super quick and easy to get delivery or coffee. I'll definitely be staying here again for next year's competition.

An absolutely fantastic 7-day stay, highly recommended!

My overall experience at the hotel during this trip far exceeded my expectations! The check-out service was incredibly thoughtful. I wanted to take a nap and requested a late check-out; throughout this period, there were no calls or knocks on the door urging me to leave, allowing me to enjoy a comfortable rest. After checking out, I even received a cute panda souvenir, and the luggage storage service was efficient and meticulous.

The hotel's atmosphere was exceptionally good. The guests were about half Chinese and half international, including friends from Western countries. Everyone was very well-behaved, and the public areas were quiet and orderly. Over the seven days, whether it was the front desk reception or daily service, the staff were patient and attentive, making for a truly excellent experience.

Whether for a business trip or a leisure vacation, this hotel is a great choice and I recommend it to all travelers!

Traveling with kids means I need a spacious room, so in any city, if there's an Ascott, that's where I'll stay. I've stayed at this group's serviced apartments all over the world, especially frequently in Europe. For cooking purposes, in China, I primarily look for places with a living room and two bedrooms. And in Chengdu, a dryer is absolutely essential. After hotpot every day, I can just dry my clothes and the smell is gone. There are so few hotels in Chengdu with dryers, especially in-room ones, not communal ones.
