Changle Holiday Hotel in Chengdu

I bought a breakfast deal but they didn't give us a breakfast. I think they know but they just pretend that they don't understand .. Its clearly wrote in vouncher have two breakfast but they didn't give breakfast.. So disappointed

Where do I even begin? I booked a suite just a day in advance, looking for a hotel close to the Global Center and not too far from the airport. The front desk is on the 8th floor—and the young woman working there was incredibly kind and helpful. This review is not about her, but about the shocking condition of the hotel, at least those 2 rooms we were unlucky to experience being in.
The moment we walked into our suite, we were hit with a thick sewage smell coming from the bathroom. The hotel being old and run-down was not even a problem at that point. After investigating, I found the source- the bathroom sink. Before heading out, I tried putting a few drops of peppermint oil down the drain and covering it with a plastic bag, hoping it would help. It didn’t!!! When we returned, the stench was still overwhelming. I told the front desk clerk, and to her credit, she immediately gave us another suite. I checked it for the odors - it didn’t smell, so we moved. But once I began unpacking, I noticed other disturbing things: belongings from previous guests lying around, thick dust, stains on surfaces, MOLD in the fridge, and then the final straw - the bathroom. The toilet hadn’t been cleaned at all!!! It had poop stains!!! We were moved into a dirty room!!!
I immediately booked another hotel and we got the hell out of there in the morning.
To the owners of this hotel: you are wasting a prime location and a great view. Renovate and set proper cleaning protocols. Respect your guests and your staff. The young woman at the front desk deserves better than to be the only one holding it all together. Do better!!!!
