I went to Tianjin for Richie Jen's concert this time, and surprisingly, Richie and I stayed at the same hotel! Although the hotel is a bit old, the facilities are very well-maintained, super clean, and the attention to detail is excellent. The staff are warm, responsible, and polite. I definitely recommend it; I'll book here again next time I'm in Tianjin!

The hotel is located on Nanjing Road in Hexi District, right next to a bus stop, and the subway station isn't far either. The service is very professional, and breakfast offers a good variety. The room was quiet, making for a great stay.

Rated as a 5-star, but honestly, I wouldn't go that far. The hygiene was a bit subpar, and the staff seemed quite dismissive. The new system, Xiao Qiao, is clearly still in its early stages. The air conditioning system was not fully working when we went there and it was so hot that we had to change rooms at 10pm. The bananas for breakfast had spots and severe cracks, with the head and tail exposed. It is questionable that a hotel of this level would have such fruit on display.

Exceeded our expectations! The two-bedroom suite was huge, and the kids absolutely loved it. I really appreciate these older hotels – the design is practical and there's no unpleasant smell. The only minor downside was that the bed in the smaller bedroom felt a bit flimsy. A huge plus, though, is the small parking lot, which is incredibly rare and valuable in such a central location.

Great hotel, we liked our stay in Qingdao, so decided to try the same one in Tianjin. Location is more than perfect, in the one of the most beautiful areas of the city.
