Kunming Yunmei Hotel in Kunming

This was a rather poor stay. I booked a two-night stay, but after one night I couldn't stand it anymore and moved out. Here's a brief overview of the hotel for your reference.

First, the environment and facilities. While not exactly unclean, they were undeniably outdated. You can see this in picture 2 (shower head) and picture 8 (room door).

Furthermore, the "stripped-down" shower in pictures 3 and 4, combining shampoo, face wash, and shower, is something I haven't seen in at least 20 years.

The room had a sign requesting a separate shower area, but as you can see in picture 5, there was absolutely nothing between the shower head and the towel rack. I really don't understand how this could be considered a separate shower area.

Picture 6 is ridiculous. That's the entrance to the toilet, not the bathroom. I really can't understand why they put a step there and then warned me to be careful of the step.

Look at picture 7, the parking lot. My car was completely blocked; unless it could take off vertically, I couldn't get out. I just gave up. No staff member paid any attention to it.

Finally, I want to mention the staff's lack of professionalism. When I checked in, they said the keyboard couldn't input numbers, so they couldn't make a room key. I suggested they use the on-screen keyboard, but they wouldn't listen. So, the receptionist called an engineer, who then called another female engineer, who in turn called a younger woman. It took the four of them 20 minutes to finally make a room key. Even then, they didn't offer any apology!

There are too many other complaints to list. In short, just don't stay here.
