Economic Trade Hotel in Kunming

I snagged a special offer for 200 yuan a night. I was a bit worried about this older 4-star hotel being run-down, especially after seeing some negative reviews mentioning that, but I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the room! First off, there was absolutely no strange odor! Usually, older hotels like this have rooms steeped in cigarette smoke, but not this one! The room was also very tidy and clean, and the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet. They provided an incredible amount of bottled water! I've never seen a hotel so generous with water before, which I really appreciated. Two of us couldn't even finish it all in two days. The kettle was also quite clean with no scale. I immediately extended my stay. This price and location are truly a steal – it's convenient to get anywhere, and there are eateries, fruit stands, and a supermarket in the alley next door. I'm extremely satisfied! The only minor drawbacks were that the trash bin outside hadn't been emptied when I checked in – perhaps an oversight during cleaning. Also, the shower door had a slight issue and didn't close properly, causing water to splash outside when showering. It would be great if they could fix that promptly. All in all, I'm very happy with my stay for this price 👍🏻

The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean and tidy, which was perfect for what we needed on our trip. The space was well-designed, the tissues were good quality, and the attention to detail was impressive. It's great that they didn't raise prices during the May Day holiday. Plus, its location right next to the Red Cross Hospital is really convenient. I'll definitely stay here again.

An older, 3-star hotel with somewhat dated facilities, but it's well-maintained, and the cleanliness and service are perfectly fine. It's suitable for a layover. The location is excellent, right in the city center with plenty of attractions and dining options nearby.

It's really strange. During my three-day stay at the Jingmao Hotel, the housekeeping staff forgot to replenish one item every day, and it was different every time. I was really impressed! I only realized that the shampoo and body wash bottle was empty when I took a shower at night!

The room was clean and tidy, the front desk was friendly and efficient, and the service was particularly thoughtful! They responded quickly to requests, checked in quickly, and had a rich and impressive breakfast. The restaurant was elegant, and the waiters' smiles were very healing.

The hotel environment and facilities are very good, the rooms are well-equipped, the service is also good, and it is convenient for travel. It is worth recommending. It's a pity that the stay in Kunming is short. I will stay here again when I come to Kunming.
