ANYU Hotel - Lijiang old Town in Lijiang

This is my second stay at AnYu Lijiang Old Town. My last visit was during the pandemic. The service, ambiance, and food are still as excellent as ever. As soon as I arrived at AnYu, I felt so welcomed. I'll definitely choose AnYu again next time.

10/10 Service and cleanliness throughout the entire stay. We were contacted well im advance to coordinate pick up from the south gate and had someone pick up our luggage to bring to the hotel. Afternoon tea and breakfast selection was vast and tasty. The hotel smelled good throughout and we were able to choose between le labo and l'occitane for amenities. What impressed us the most was at the end of our stay we were moving to another hotel in the old town and they offered to bring our luggage from Anyu to the next hotel!

I stayed at Anyu for two nights, and my experience was absolutely wonderful.

The hotel's style is traditional Naxi architecture, exuding an ancient charm and romance everywhere you look. Every public area is a picturesque spot where you can enjoy tea, read a book, or even play Go. It truly allowed me to experience the slow-paced life of the ancient town.

The staff were responsible, meticulous, and incredibly warm. Initially, when booking, I was in a hurry and accidentally caused some misunderstandings with an employee. The manager patiently clarified everything with me. Every staff member greeted us warmly, and when we returned in the evening, they would kindly open the door and say, 'Welcome back!' Upon returning to our room, we found that the turndown service had already been completed, truly making us feel at home.

The hotel offers afternoon tea and breakfast, both served as a set menu plus a semi-buffet. There was a wide variety of dishes, along with a constant supply of fresh fruits available throughout the day.

Originally, I only booked one night, but after arriving in Shangri-La, my whole family wanted to return to Anyu in Lijiang, so we booked another night! I can honestly say that these two days at Lijiang Anyu were the most enjoyable part of our trip.

Let's start with the most important thing!!!
The service was absolutely incredible!!!
1. They helped upgrade my room.
2. The staff thoroughly explained the room facilities and hotel services.
3. They provided complimentary afternoon tea for my entire stay.
4. The hotel itself is very unique; if I recall correctly, it's a renovated Naxi ancient building, which perfectly matches the vibe of Lijiang Old Town.
5. Both breakfast and afternoon tea are set meals, but they are executed with exceptional quality and style.

Overall, highly recommend!!!
If this brand has hotels in other cities I visit in the future, I will definitely stay with them again.

This is my first review, and it's for Anyu. Choosing this hotel for a trip to the plateau was absolutely perfect! The hotel environment is quiet, the room is clean and hygienic, and I slept very soundly. The front desk service was attentive, patiently answering all my questions about traveling in the high-altitude region. The in-room oxygen supply was very comfortable, and the location is convenient, making it easy to find food and go shopping nearby. The breakfast was exquisite! They also offered a complimentary afternoon tea. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Coming to An Yu (Anyu) feels just like coming home.

I've been in Lijiang for 10 days, and I've ended up coming back to stay here again.

From the first cup of coffee in the morning to the fruit provided at night, how can one not feel a sense of warmth?

The wooden structure means soundproofing isn't great, but the service is excellent, and it's super convenient being right in the ancient city. They have daily complimentary fruits and nuts, and even thoughtfully provide sunscreen.

The room was clean and tidy, and offered excellent value for money. The additional services provided were the most comprehensive I've ever experienced in a hotel: free airport pick-up, free laundry, free afternoon tea, and even a complimentary gift bag and souvenir. The breakfast was very thoughtfully prepared and aesthetically pleasing. The hotel staff were kind, friendly, and professional. The only drawback was that the room felt a bit cramped and the bathroom was quite tiny. Overall, I was satisfied with the design and give it a five-star rating.

Once again, I confidently entrusted myself to An Yu. From the moment I was picked up at the airport to the afternoon tea, breakfast, and dinner – everything was taken care of. Just like the one in Hangzhou, the Lijiang courtyard is small and cozy, nestled quietly by the old town. If you're looking for some excitement, it's just a short walk into the old town.
