Quantum Inn East Railway Station in Hangzhou

1. Location & Accessibility:
The hotel is conveniently located at the same level as the train from the airport, but navigation can be confusing. You arrive at the East exit, while the hotel is at the West side, making it tricky to find. For ride-hailing services like DiDi, there is an indoor pickup/drop-off area, but when returning to the hotel, be sure to use the same location. Some drivers may claim they cannot enter, causing inconvenience when coming back.

2. Room & Comfort:
The rooms are compact and windowless, typical of budget transit hotels. Since I only stayed for a few hours before catching an early train the next day, it served its purpose as a short-stay option.

3. Service & Hospitality:
A big thumbs up to the hotel staff! I accidentally left my LAMY pen in the room, and the staff took the initiative to contact me via Booking.com. They even arranged to send it to my final destination hotel, ensuring I got it back safely. This level of extra-mile service is truly commendable and much appreciated.

Overall:
⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) – Great service, but location can be tricky

Would recommend for short stays, especially if you need quick access to transportation. However, be mindful of the challenging location and make proper arrangements for your return trip.

Excellent location as near to railway, mall, eateries etc. Convenient.

V noisy despite assigned a "quiet room" upon request. knocking sound heard throughout night for both nights. Can't sleep well. absolutely not recommended for light sleepers. Bed or mattress is too hard too. V uncomfortable and unlike typical hotel standard. Night Receptionist also not v helpful.
