Split is a relatively small Croatian city, so I wasn't expecting such a high-class hotel. The staff was excellent—polite and professional. The room was large and very modern. The location was excellent—just steps from the city's main sandy beach and a ten-minute walk from the Old Town and Diocletian's Palace. All electronics and plumbing worked perfectly. The breakfasts were delicious and varied. The hotel was clearly originally built as a hotel—its original architecture attests to this. I recommend this new, cozy, and comfortable hotel to anyone planning a trip to Split.

The location is excellent, parking is convenient, and the breakfast is rich and delicious. Although the room is not large, the bedding is very soft and comfortable. The hotel is decorated in a modern and stylish style. My friends are all very satisfied.

The hotel's internal environment is very good, but there are houses being built around the hotel, so it's very chaotic.
The hotel waiter was very rude. Because we had to go out to sea at 7:30, the front desk said the day before that because we had ordered breakfast, breakfast would not start until 7:00, and we could not eat it, so we packed it for us, but the packed content only contained a sandwich, a bottle of water, and a peach. I asked if I could get some bread because I didn't want to eat salty food. He said that you can get some in the restaurant in the morning; but at 6:50 in the morning, I saw that there was food in the restaurant, so I went in to get it. A slightly fat waitress told me very unhappily that breakfast would not start until 7:00, and asked me to leave. I explained to her what the front desk said, and she said that if you want to eat, you can eat it. Then I asked her where the packed breakfast was, and she said that you should ask the front desk yourself. . . . Do the waiters in this hotel think they are God? ? ?

The room was better than expected, and we upgraded to a sea view room. Downstairs is a famous local beach where many locals swim and play ball. The breakfast was also good. But the city of Split as a whole is a bit boring, and one day is enough...

A lovely stay in Briig hotel. A perfect location by a local beach with easy access to the port and town in under ten minutes by foot.
Very spacious rooms with a super comfy XL bed and updated designer toiletries in the bathroom along with the amazing shower.
A small but functional rooftop pool and sun deck and lovely garden to have breakfast and drinks.
As a designer hotel it might be even better if it were adult only…but I appreciate that is highly subjective.
