The city view room also had a partial ocean view. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean and quiet. The breakfast room was large, with a wide variety of options and a pleasant atmosphere. The beach club seemed to be public, with some lounge chairs, but it required walking up a few steps to reach them. The outdoor pool was pleasant and perfect for a drink. The hotel is not located in the city...

The service attitude at the reception was poor. We booked a room clearly stating that we would have children, but there were only two sets of bathrobes and towels. We called to request that they be delivered to the room, but they were not delivered until the evening. Moreover, because the bathrobes and towels were delivered in two batches, the waiter was very impatient and threw the towels at us.

I had originally booked at Hotel Ambassador, but was informed just before my trip that it would not be open on the day. With the support of the Trip.com staff, I ended up staying at this hotel. We stayed at the hotel for the New Year holidays. From December 30 to January 02, 2025. Apparently because of this the room was really poorly cleaned, the photo shows stains on the floor, on the table from coffee, garbage in the drawers. In general, the hotel is very "tired", something was obviously broken, barely alive faucets. In general, it does not pull on 5 stars. But! Breakfast on January 01...

Not bad. We stayed in the Select Sea View room. It should be a new room type. It's quite cozy. But the smell of new decoration is a bit strong.

Beautifully decorated hotel which matches up the 5 star standard. Top notch service and excellent breakfast provided in the hotel restaurant. The room was very clean, beds and pillows were super comfortable. The only downside we had was the room size. 3 adults in a standard room, was a bit crowded. It was our own problems, the room would be perfect for 2.

For those older guest with substantial amount of luggage, the hotel “Various” entrances were not convenient for arriving and departing . The porter don’t seem to be always around. Reception staff did their best but could Hv been abit more experience in finding taxi for guest since the taxi stand is located quite near the hotel.

Stunning hotel at the door of the ancient Split. Delicious breakfast, amazing rooftop swimming pool and jacuzzi, perfect to rest after a day of discovery. The rooms are spacious and elegant with a immense bathroom. We really recommend this hotel.

The location of this hotel is just excellent. It is at the fringe of the most happening part of the town. But it is still very quiet and peaceful. Really a short walk to all the must sees. View from the rooftop is beautiful too.

It was centrally located in order to sightsee. The room was excellent; check in easy; staff were friendly; pricing great value for what was provided.

The suite is ok, but the terrace is small, the cleanliness is not satisfactory, and the breakfast is average, both in variety and quality. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the ancient city. I was worried that the ancient city would be too noisy, but I regretted it. Some hotels in the ancient city may be better.

It's conveniently located within walking distance of the Game of Thrones filming locations in the old town. The room was clean and hygienic, and water was provided. The only thing to note is that you have to remember to read the room number carefully. Otherwise, it's easy to make a mistake just by looking at the number written on the card. Perhaps unfamiliar with the European way of writing numbers...

Very ordinary hotel, there is a *** downstairs, the breakfast is OK, similar to the Home Inn in China, but not as clean as Home Inn

We arrived late on evening, Frane at reception desk was very helpful and efficient: I made a mistake at reservation (twin beds instead of 1 arge bed) but he found immediatly a solution to fix this. Dinner, breakfast and lunch were of excellent quality.

A five-star hotel in Europe, the price is relatively expensive, but the service is still very good, the breakfast is very rich, the bathroom is super large and very comfortable to use. The room has a sightseeing terrace and is very close to the beach! The hotel will send a bottle of water every day. The hotel was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The pool and Jacuzzi was a plus. The room had a balcony with a drying rack that was convenient for hanging bathing suits and washing some clothes. The staff were all very nice. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel automatically provided an upgrade, and the single room became a triple room, which greatly increased the sense of space. The hygiene is average, and there is still water left in the kettle from the previous user. In addition, the rooftop swimming pool has not yet opened, and the view from outside is average, and you probably can't see the old city.

Entire hotel could be modernised so it could look cleaner, more modern and welcoming for guests, automated and sustainable. Hotel Zagreb is Yugoslav era heritage hotel. Made in tipical elegant marble, wood and glass style within, and pine forest, beaches and big teraces outside. Very friendly staff and much more than 3 stars. Only reason why its 2 stars is because Croatia's new law obligates min 18 square meters rooms and Zagreb has 17,5 square meter rooms. We didn’t find any available room in vicinity, but they had one, and it was much better then expected. Hotel has 2 stars but the room was updated, so it worth higher rating. Also breakfast had a variety selection. Clean, AC worked great, nice view and very friendly staff.

Our stay at Amphora Garden was great, we enjoyed the hotel and its facilities. In a few months this area will be booming. Currently the beach walk is under construction, and there are not many bars and restaurants around.

Free upgrade !! Apartment was clean and we received a free upgrade on arrival from a studio to a 1 bedroom apartment. Internet was good but didn’t work at the pool. Breakfast included was amazing. Our only negative would be the rooftop pool staff who rolled their eyes and sighed when we politely asked to have an umbrella put up. Other than that all other hotel staff were approachable and kind!

The room was tiny and the WiFi almost nonexistent. The church bells started ringing at 6 am. Still it was the perplace to stay since it was in the heart of old town.

Our stay in Split old town We loved the hotel location and the staff. It is however very difficult if travelling by car and suit case. Parking is far and many steps to climb with the suitcase. It would have been a total disaster not for the help of staff specifically Ivana.

Tina is a great receptionist, very polite and takes her job seriously. We really enjoyed the hotel in Split – and the city itself is stunning.

The staff is perfect; welcoming, calm, helpful and always smiling. The rooms are clean but small. Location is perfect, just in old city and you feel the soul of the city. Breakfast was disappointing. They really need to find a person who can cook eggs. Whatever you order the guy gives you too much fried scrambled eggs with a burned oil smell and taste. There are not good options. So book without breakfast...

It was great! Staff covered all our needs. Even provided us with an umbrella, closest attractions, and restaurants since it was a rainy and very cold day.

The rooms are clean and nice, however, do not let them put you in the attic rooms because more than 50% of the room space is not of human height, including the shower and wc, and you will bang your head over and over again. The reception is polite and helpful, after we complaint, we were moved to a normal room after 2 nights. It was not made clear enough that we room we booked have such headroom problems...

Stayed here for 6 nights after a multiple tour of Balkans. Very friendly staff throughout the stay, very helpful and brilliant service from.the whole team. Location is excellent with a nice garden area. Room was spacious and well maintained. Breakfast selection plentiful and well stocked up.

Hotel is great. Beautiful and historic. Only issue was the loud live music playing in the square. It did end at 1030 every evening though.

I will have to say, everything here is top notch. Any inquiries I've had so far have been addressed immediately. They have a 24/7 line that is responsive all the time. I had a hot water pot break on me, nevertheless the owner up front did not charge me, and has continued to give 5 star service. I would highly recommend staying here for location, CUSTOMER SERVICE, and quality!

A great villa. It sleeps four people and allows us to cook our own food. There are live peacocks on the balcony for you to admire. I think they're the owner's pets. They poop.

ABSOLUTELY nothing bad to say about this accommodation! It is a little difficult to find...we arrived in the dark (after our flight was delayed) and were talked in by Tina from the property...a great help! We had booked secure car parking space....under cover (very lovely in August when the temperatures were 28 degrees +) at a cost of 20 euros daily. The hotel was very clean and classically decorated. The room was large and the bathroom was like new. The bed was really wide and comfortable. The breakfast was very sufficient and varied, although not as wide a selection of dishes as in big hotels. The location of the hotel on the hill suited us, because we liked to walk a lot to both the old town and Kasjuni beach. Both can be warmly recommended

This hotel has free parking. The old lady will give you the choice of making breakfast. The hotel fruit is very fresh. The handsome guy at the front desk is very serious and enthusiastic. There is a warm feeling of home.

Location is near Old Town and Diocletians Palace. Rooms are large and bathrooms are great. Beds are comfortable. Staff are lovely. Only down side was a horrible smell of sewerage coming into the bathoom. We had to change rooms due to it, then in the next room, leave the exhaust fan on constantly. This place was beautiful to stay in and super close to everything. Toma was super helpful and sent us numerous of recommendations and places to explore. He also met up with us at 11:00pm to check us in as we had a late flight, which was amazing! Palace Tartaglia is super close to everything. I would recommend staying here!

Great spot in the middle of the walking old town. Room was new, comfortable and great AC (a must for summer in Croatia). Only downside is its up about 5 flights of stairs no elevator, they helped carry bags up but your on your own getting out. Would still highly recommend!

Great location! Kinda odd upstairs from an art gallery but it's a super cute room! Up 4 or 5 flights of stairs, no elevator but not a problem with gelato on every corner but definitely not wheelchair accessible. Comfy but small bed.

I want to start by saying this hotel is pretty hard to find. We arrived and did not have a sims card with GPS yet and we asked two locals working nearby for help that was readily given. But even the people that work 40 to 80 meters had to look it up. I want to tell anyone that is going to stay here it is directly across from the Spar grocery store so you don't have any trouble finding the hotel...

For a 4-star hotel, the facilities and food are lacking. This is the first time I've seen a place without a coffee machine. Just put frozen coffee in hot water. Free parking. No height restrictions.
