The city view room also had a partial ocean view. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean and quiet. The breakfast room was large, with a wide variety of options and a pleasant atmosphere. The beach club seemed to be public, with some lounge chairs, but it required walking up a few steps to reach them. The outdoor pool was pleasant and perfect for a drink. The hotel is not located in the city...

The service attitude at the reception was poor. We booked a room clearly stating that we would have children, but there were only two sets of bathrobes and towels. We called to request that they be delivered to the room, but they were not delivered until the evening. Moreover, because the bathrobes and towels were delivered in two batches, the waiter was very impatient and threw the towels at us.

I had originally booked at Hotel Ambassador, but was informed just before my trip that it would not be open on the day. With the support of the Trip.com staff, I ended up staying at this hotel. We stayed at the hotel for the New Year holidays. From December 30 to January 02, 2025. Apparently because of this the room was really poorly cleaned, the photo shows stains on the floor, on the table from coffee, garbage in the drawers. In general, the hotel is very "tired", something was obviously broken, barely alive faucets. In general, it does not pull on 5 stars. But! Breakfast on January 01...

Not bad. We stayed in the Select Sea View room. It should be a new room type. It's quite cozy. But the smell of new decoration is a bit strong.

Beautifully decorated hotel which matches up the 5 star standard. Top notch service and excellent breakfast provided in the hotel restaurant. The room was very clean, beds and pillows were super comfortable. The only downside we had was the room size. 3 adults in a standard room, was a bit crowded. It was our own problems, the room would be perfect for 2.

For those older guest with substantial amount of luggage, the hotel “Various” entrances were not convenient for arriving and departing . The porter don’t seem to be always around. Reception staff did their best but could Hv been abit more experience in finding taxi for guest since the taxi stand is located quite near the hotel.

Stunning hotel at the door of the ancient Split. Delicious breakfast, amazing rooftop swimming pool and jacuzzi, perfect to rest after a day of discovery. The rooms are spacious and elegant with a immense bathroom. We really recommend this hotel.

The location of this hotel is just excellent. It is at the fringe of the most happening part of the town. But it is still very quiet and peaceful. Really a short walk to all the must sees. View from the rooftop is beautiful too.

It was centrally located in order to sightsee. The room was excellent; check in easy; staff were friendly; pricing great value for what was provided.

The suite is ok, but the terrace is small, the cleanliness is not satisfactory, and the breakfast is average, both in variety and quality. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the ancient city. I was worried that the ancient city would be too noisy, but I regretted it. Some hotels in the ancient city may be better.

It's conveniently located within walking distance of the Game of Thrones filming locations in the old town. The room was clean and hygienic, and water was provided. The only thing to note is that you have to remember to read the room number carefully. Otherwise, it's easy to make a mistake just by looking at the number written on the card. Perhaps unfamiliar with the European way of writing numbers...

Very ordinary hotel, there is a *** downstairs, the breakfast is OK, similar to the Home Inn in China, but not as clean as Home Inn

It was a wonderful stay. The room was clean and large, access to a bar and restaurant was exactly what we needed. Perfect respite from our travels!

Hotel Fanat has a freindly professional vibe toward customers, we noticed this extended amongst the staff members creating an overall enjoyable atmosphere. The quality of food and service at their restaurant is exceptional. Staying here has been an absolute pleasure.

We arrived late on evening, Frane at reception desk was very helpful and efficient: I made a mistake at reservation (twin beds instead of 1 arge bed) but he found immediatly a solution to fix this. Dinner, breakfast and lunch were of excellent quality.

Great hotel in a great location. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant with the exception of the pool attendant on the top floor who was quite rude.

Our stay at Amphora Garden was great, we enjoyed the hotel and its facilities. In a few months this area will be booming. Currently the beach walk is under construction, and there are not many bars and restaurants around.

Free upgrade !! Apartment was clean and we received a free upgrade on arrival from a studio to a 1 bedroom apartment. Internet was good but didn’t work at the pool. Breakfast included was amazing. Our only negative would be the rooftop pool staff who rolled their eyes and sighed when we politely asked to have an umbrella put up. Other than that all other hotel staff were approachable and kind!

A five-star hotel in Europe, the price is relatively expensive, but the service is still very good, the breakfast is very rich, the bathroom is super large and very comfortable to use. The room has a sightseeing terrace and is very close to the beach! The hotel will send a bottle of water every day. If you want an extra bottle of water, remember that you have to pay for it, and it is very expensive

A well located 5* hotel close to a beach and within walking distance of the old town centre. Breakfast had a wide choice of food and our evening meal there was delicious.

The staff is very friendly, but they only give you one bottle of water per stay, which I find unacceptable for a hotel of this category. The location is very convenient, except for the luggage. On the other hand, they only have two parking spaces on the outskirts of the historic center, which is insufficient. The breakfast omelet is delicious, and the variety offered is adequate, but nothing spectacular...

Beautiful Hotel in the  center of town. Very quiet and convenient to all attractions, restaurants, and shopping. The hotel felt more like a 5 star with all the  amenities  rather than a 4 star. 

Located in the heart of old town. Easily accessible to most places of interest by foot. Breakfast with a great buffet selection including ala carte order of breakfast. Staff with good service attitude.

Fair priced hotel with the vibes and decoration from the 70’s. The town center was at a down the hill walking distance. We took a taxi back, because walking up to the hotel would be very difficult.

Even though the hotel has a nice view of the sea and it looks ok, it still looks 70s style and on some areas the windows haven’t been changed since then. The rooms look good, but a little plain. Entire hotel could be modernised so it could look cleaner, more modern and welcoming for guests, automated and sustainable. It would be good if a reflective roof gets installed which would reflect sunlight...

Hotel Zagreb is Yugoslav era heritage hotel. Made in tipical elegant marble, wood and glass style within, and pine forest, beaches and big teraces outside. Very friendly staff and much more than 3 stars. Only reason why its 2 stars is because Croatia's new law obligates min 18 square meters rooms and Zagreb has 17,5 square meter rooms. We didn’t find any available room in vicinity, but they had one, and it was much better then expected. Hotel has 2 stars but the room was updated, so it worth higher rating. Also breakfast had a variety selection. Clean, AC worked great, nice view and very friendly staff.

The room was tiny and the WiFi almost nonexistent. The church bells started ringing at 6 am. Still it was the perplace to stay since it was in the heart of old town.

Our stay in Split old town We loved the hotel location and the staff. It is however very difficult if travelling by car and suit case. Parking is far and many steps to climb with the suitcase. It would have been a total disaster not for the help of staff specifically Ivana.

I have been charged 23.16 euros in taxes and/or fees when the reservation says that I only have to pay 7.98 euros in municipal tax at the establishment. I request a refund of the difference of 15.18 euros that I have paid by depositing it on the same card that the reservation was charged on. Tina is a great receptionist, very polite and takes her job seriously. We really enjoyed the hotel in Split – and the city itself is stunning.

The staff is perfect; welcoming, calm, helpful and always smiling. The rooms are clean but small. Location is perfect, just in old city and you feel the soul of the city. Breakfast was disappointing. They really need to find a person who can cook eggs. Whatever you order the guy gives you too much fried scrambled eggs with a burned oil smell and taste. There are not good options. So book without breakfast...

We had a planning faux pas and needed a room for one extra day before we went back home. The hotel that we had been staying in was roughly €500 per night. Sleep split did not have as large of a room, it was an extremely nice room with modern amenities and was only 150 euros. I highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel was so convenient to walk to The Old Town . The entry system made it feel very safe and secure. We were met and helped by staff efficiently on check-in and checkout. Room was clean, modern and very comfortable. Temperature control good!

It was great! Staff covered all our needs. Even provided us with an umbrella, closest attractions, and restaurants since it was a rainy and very cold day.

The rooms are clean and nice, however, do not let them put you in the attic rooms because more than 50% of the room space is not of human height, including the shower and wc, and you will bang your head over and over again. The reception is polite and helpful, after we complaint, we were moved to a normal room after 2 nights. It was not made clear enough that we room we booked have such headroom problems...

Stayed here for 6 nights after a multiple tour of Balkans. Very friendly staff throughout the stay, very helpful and brilliant service from.the whole team. Location is excellent with a nice garden area. Room was spacious and well maintained. Breakfast selection plentiful and well stocked up.

Our stay was exceptional! Staff advised us on directions to the city gate where they met and accompanied us to the hotel. Andy, Maria, Chris and another lovely desk attendant assisted us with all activities, meals and helped thru more than one ferry complication. The service is exceptional and the location in the old town square is ideal. You would be mistaken to stay elsewhere in Split!

Location is awesome. Room was very nice. People were incredible. Service was great. Wi-fi was spotty and slow. Bath tub drain kept sticking shut. Showering in 4 inches of water not fun. With just a couple of improvements, this place would be perfect!

Everything about this place was wonderful. Staff will meet you at city entrance and help walk you and your suitcases back to the facility. Hotel room was clean and modern, we slept well. We would come back. There was no complementary water in the room, the hotel charged 6 Euro per bottle. We stayed in a room close to the street so it was bit noisy. There is no hotel parking space on offer, think the ******* website shows this wrong. We were able to park in garage nearby. Parking is expensive.

ABSOLUTELY nothing bad to say about this accommodation! It is a little difficult to find...we arrived in the dark (after our flight was delayed) and were talked in by Tina from the property...a great help! We had booked secure car parking space....under cover (very lovely in August when the temperatures were 28 degrees +) at a cost of 20 euros daily. The apartments are situated about a 10 minute walk...

Great hotel, delicious breakfast. It's just a shame we didn't know you could get dinner there. It's also a shame there was no elevator (we're over 65), and the safe should be installed in the closet, otherwise it's unusable. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Compared to the exterior, the interior of the hotel is stylish and sophisticated. The rooms are also clean. I didn't have time to enjoy breakfast, but the croissants were delicious. The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from Split Predgradđe Station, and there's a supermarket along the way. This hotel doesn't feel like a 3-star hotel, so I highly recommend it.

The receptionist was great and quickly sorted an issue with my booking The big problem is the noise in the room. All night, every 15m some machine started working and was so noisy that we can feel the vibrations. For sure others rooms feel it too but in my room 205 was really bad

It was a horrible night. I couldn't sleep. The motor or mechanism of the ceiling air conditioner was making an infernal noise. Yet, all the control knobs on the wall unit were in the off position!!!! I therefore request a refund for my night's sleep and the tourist tax. Sincerely, Yann MICHEL

The hotel itself was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The view from our balcony room was stunning, and the room itself was very nice. However a few things came to us as a surprise during our stay and were frusrating. First, i did not get the room i booked through *******. I booked a 1 king+sofa bed, and they gave a room with only 1 king bed, saying the sofa bed are reserved for parties of 3 or more...
