Palace Tartaglia in Split

This place was beautiful to stay in and super close to everything. Toma was super helpful and sent us numerous of recommendations and places to explore. He also met up with us at 11:00pm to check us in as we had a late flight, which was amazing! Palace Tartaglia is super close to everything. I would recommend staying here!

Great spot in the middle of the walking old town. Room was new, comfortable and great AC (a must for summer in Croatia). Only downside is its up about 5 flights of stairs no elevator, they helped carry bags up but your on your own getting out. Would still highly recommend!

Marco (the owner) showed up early to greet us at airport and provided transfer (40 euro). He is super nice and knowledgeable. The hotel is in a perfect location. The room was extremely charming. I saw people complain about stairs, it’s a 300 year old palace. Of course there are stairs. Would stay here every time! Not a complaint, but it is in the middle of everything so there is a bit of noise from passersby.

Great location! Kinda odd upstairs from an art gallery but it's a super cute room! Up 4 or 5 flights of stairs, no elevator but not a problem with gelato on every corner but definitely not wheelchair accessible. Comfy but small bed.

I want to start by saying this hotel is pretty hard to find. We arrived and did not have a sims card with GPS yet and we asked two locals working nearby for help that was readily given. But even the people that work 40 to 80 meters had to look it up.
I want to tell anyone that is going to stay here it is directly across from the Spar grocery store so you don't have any trouble finding the hotel.
We were greeted by the owner and our room was exactly as pictured. The air conditioning was a blessing and both the room and the bathroom were very nice and clean.
My only suggestion is for larger garbage cans in the room.
The owner was very responsive when we needed something and our stay was pleasant and enjoyable.
If I am ever lucky enough to visit again I would not hesitate to re book this
guesthouse again and hope for the same room.
