Very good business hotel. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and spotless clean. There’s a wide desk to catch up with emails thanks to the high speed Wi-Fi connection. Bathroom is huge and fluffy towels are there to pamper you. If water pressure in the shower would be higher it would be perfect. Breakfast has plenty of options and every one can find his happiness (a small observation: eggs should be warmer). The team is amazing and Maja is a real star.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff are extremely friendly and courteous. The breakfast is 10/10 and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The hotel is a short drive from the airport, but you can also get into the city center by car or by bus to the main train station, which runs every 5 minutes.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great 4-Star Hotel in Zagreb with Outstanding Staff

I had a very pleasant stay at Best Western Hotel Zagreb and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable 4-star hotel in Zagreb.

The room was clean, comfortable and perfectly adequate for both business and leisure travel. The décor is a little dated, with a classic style and lots of wood — it actually felt like an early-edition Marriott — but everything was well maintained and comfortable.

The real highlight of this hotel is the staff. They were absolutely fantastic: friendly, welcoming and genuinely helpful. I arrived tired after a late flight, and as it was New Year’s Day, I really appreciated how patient and accommodating they were. Their hospitality made a big difference to the overall stay.

Overall, this is a good-value hotel in Zagreb with excellent service and comfortable rooms. One small tip: the hotel is under a flight path, so if you’re planning to sleep in after 10am, it’s worth packing ear buds.

A solid choice for accommodation in Zagreb and I would stay here again.

My stay at Best Western Hotel Stella was unacceptable and far below any reasonable hotel standard. The room had a powerful, unpleasant smell, old furniture, and an air conditioner was so loud that it could not be used. I was not able to fall asleep at night due to the smell and came downstairs to receptionist. She came with me to my room to check and she was shocked, she confirmed the strong smell, which was felt at once while opening the door from the corridor. She tried to find the new clean linens, but they were not available at the hotel! and there was no alternative room. She called to the main manager but he refused to assist. The only option was to sleep with the window fully open in December. I slept only 4 hours during the night (at least 4 hours due to fresh air from the opened window!)
In the morning the manager did not care at all and showed no professionalism.
This experience affected my health, my rest, and my work the next day. Based on what I experienced, this property does not meet any normal hotel standards and I strongly advise avoiding it.

Location was good, BUT…
Booked a room one month ahead on official website and paid in full. Took several long flights and was hoping to get a room but when I arrived at the hotel, they said they didnt get my reservation, though they can find it by contacting head office. They couldn’t offer me nothing, No room, no nothing. No, they couldn’t offer me a room in another hotel in town with the same brand because they were “independent” owned. I had to take an uber and find another hotel at my own cost at very last minute. Glad I was there in the afternoon time so I had some time to find a hotel still open and had a room available but imagine when you arrive late night!
This not how a big chain doing business and this is totally unacceptable.

The breakfast was delicious! I was surprised.
It's called "Airport" because it's the closest hotel to Zagreb Airport, but it's only about a 15-minute taxi ride away, and when you're driving at night, you start to worry about whether you're really there!
In terms of facilities, there's no bathtub, and the shower shampoo is a bit questionable, but the breakfast makes up for it.
