I had an amazing experience staying at the Dots hostel! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with directions or local recommendations. The atmosphere was warm and social - perfect for meeting other travelers while still having quiet spaces to relax.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, with cozy beds. The shared kitchen was well-equipped and spotless, making it easy to prep meals and chat with other guests.
The location couldn’t have been better - close to public transport, great cafes, and all the main attractions.
I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for affordable, clean, and friendly accommodation.

At night, the hot water in the bath stopped coming out halfway through, making it cold and uncomfortable.
It seemed someone was using the bath next door.
The same thing happened when I tried to use it the next morning.

The receptionist was very kind.

Great place to stay. Clean. Rooms are very nice and comfortable. Location is very convenient, just a few minutes away from downtown. Josefina is amazing, super kind and nice. I totally recommend this place to stay, I would definitely come back.

Service is very friendly and helpful. Small kitchen area with free juice, coffee and tea available at all times. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfy. Bathrooms also cleaned regularly. Close to town centre and small supermarkets for amenities. Definitely recommend!

The host is super friendly and gave clear instructions for late check in. The only drawback is the unit is right next to the road so you can either close the window or youll have to bear with it because the location is good

[Good points]

- Cheap because it's a hostel

- Water, instant coffee, etc. were provided as free drinks (basically unmanned, so often not replenished)

[Bad points]

- Because the water heater stores hot water and boils it, if two people use the shower, only water comes out for the second person (if it was winter, I think they would have caught a cold)

- It's a hostel, so I don't really mind, but it's not dirty, but it's not clean either (especially the water area)

- Since it's basically unmanned, you're supposed to contact them by Whats up if there's a problem, but there was no reply

This hostel was very nice! It felt more like a hotel but with a more friendly vibe. The rooms are spacious and really clean. Also the sound proofing is excellent. I am a light sleeper and I didn’t hear a thing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I arrived after the checkin time and it was very easy to checkin. The location is excellent! It’s close to the train station, bus station, and old town. I only stayed on night but if I come back to Zagreb I will definitely stay here again!
