Hostel Centar in Zagreb

A remarkably good hostel right in the centre (as its name suggests) and excellent value. I stayed in a private room, with shared bathroom, which was light and airy and with a window overlooking the roofs of buildings on the street. (Room 2, pictures attached). The bathrooms are immaculately clean, there's a big fridge and a modestly sized kitchen area with microwave and kettle (and free tea and coffee). You can store your luggage in the common area. The two ladies who run the place are very helpful - and between the two of them are available through WhatsApp 24/7. And I was given a leaflet on arrival with some suggestions on where to eat by the hostel, which was helpful. Access to the building and hostel is through PIN code meaning a late check in is possible. If you read these reviews, thank you for a pleasant stay.

Really central property, however not the most sociable place. Extremely hot at night and there was nobody there on the first day to get the €5 aircon remote from. Really clean.

The stay was very convenient and affordable

The property was in a great location in the city center, and for a few nights stay it is worth the price! The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and I would defiantly stay here again in the future :)

The location is very convenient as it is very close to all the tourist attractions.
The single room had a comfortable bed, but the walls were very thin, so I was a little bothered by the sound of the hallway and other rooms.
The only thing I noticed was that the staff were not always on-site, and I called the contact number several times but couldn't get through,
and the hotel entrance was quite difficult to find, so it was difficult to check in.
