We’ve been coming here for about 10 years now. And it is one of my favourite places in the world. It’s not fancy but the people who work here are wonderful, it’s calm and peaceful, the public spaces are simple and clean, rooms very comfortable, nice beach, food is delicious, local and VERY reasonable, and the setting and views from the dining room and terrace are gorgeous. A lovely big dog greets you in the lobby and friendly cats lounge about keeping an eye on you. And a few chickens wander through every once in a while. Everytime we come back, we’re greeted with “Welcome home”. And that’s just how it feels. Love this place x.

We had been to this hotel before but it has been upgraded since then. This time we had a lovely room with sea view, which seemed almost new. This is a family-run hotel and the family are very helpful and friendly under the management of Mrs. Gregoria the proprietor. However, important to note that this hotel has no pool and while it's near the beach, it doesn't own the beach and you have to pay for use of sunbed and umbrella. They have a good buffet dinner and breakfast but you can also order 'a la carte'. If you want a super room ask for one beginning with a number 7! There are quite a lot of cats around, which are looked after by the hotel but they do come and beg for food which some people might not like.

I’ve had two lovely holidays at Aphrodite Beach staying half board, my third stay was cancelled due to illness. I’m a solo traveller since the death of my husband, I felt very comfortable here, never awkward, the staff are always kindly and helpful. Gregoria & her children run the hotel and are around reception constantly. Yannis helped with my mobile which hadn’t picked up a local network. I arrived at night like all Birmingham flights, Yannis was there to meet me and show me to my room. A plated sandwich & water were waiting for me. Both times I’ve stayed in the block closest to the building used for Yoga etc, ground floor rooms , looking in opposite directions, no sea view but still pleasing. The rooms are simply furnished, clean with comfortable beds. No drink making facilities but I didn’t miss that, I don’t remember a fridge, aircon was adequate, bathroom was modern with a terrific shower. Terrace for sitting outside, lined curtain, I didn’t need anything else. Breakfast, always the highlight of my day did not disappoint. Two coffee machines, decent coffee, variety of teas, herbs, lemon water & juice. Buffet of fruits, yoghurt, honey, condiments, cereals, cold meat, cheese, olives, salad, breads, pastries & cakes. Plus cooked, something for everyone. There was never any significant queuing. My April stay included a lovely cake, substantial both sweet/savoury, wondered if it was an Easter tradition, not available in September. Dinner, again buffet style or à la carte, I tried both, the food was excellent, I don’t eat meat, never had trouble finding something I enjoyed. Lovely salads, but watch out for meaty bits. Desserts were cheesecakey, gateaux and milky. I did miss never seeing any traditional treats like baklava or kataifi. The reception area is comfortable, I spent time there each day usually in the company of a cat! There are a lot of cats & kittens, I found them delightful. There is no pool, but for me. part of its charm. The beach is down below, lovely water, loungers and umbrellas are supplied by the municipality & you pay as you go. The beach is pebbly, swim shoes help. There’s a cafe/bar above the beach, not sure if it’s part of hotel or not, you pay as you go. I hired a canoe, did try snorkelling, but there’s not a lot to see, more along the coast at the beach below Aphrodite.s Bath. There are no grassy grounds, there’s a scrubby area full of fruit trees, herbs & other produce, paths and seats and a small chapel. The road outside is quite busy, I didn’t fancy walking far on it, the bus stops outside, it’s only a short journey to Aphrodite’s Bath (not her birthplace!) and the Akamas National Park, great walks and views. The beach below is good for snorkelling, but I found the staff in the restaurant a charmless lot. I bussed the opposite way to Souli & Polis, walking back to Souli along the coast. Plenty of shops, restaurants and trip boats there. The hotel grounds are quiet during the day, groups on Yoga based holidays are

A wonderful stay by the sea! Perfect location right on the beach, with beautiful views. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back! ❤️

We just spent 4 nights over the holiday weekend at this hotel. We had a superior room which was very well equipped with large bathroom, great shower, very comfortable beds, sofa, armchair, table and chairs plus large veranda overlooking the sea with table and chairs and loungers. We were very impressed by the friendliness of the owners and the cleanliness of the hotel. It is very well maintained, all the paintwork is fresh and clean and all the rooms have fly screens which is unheard of in local hotels and the WiFi is very fast. Breakfast was great and the gardens pretty with fruit trees and chickens running around. It is steps away from Best Beach. Definitely recommended and we will come again.

I could talk for hours about the fabulous location, the best beach right in front of it, the endless, beautiful gardens and grove, the cleanliness of the rooms and all property, the exquisite sea view rooms, the unique breakfast...but it all comes down to people_Mrs Gregoria and her family have created a little paradise where guests, staff, pets and nature are treated with respect, love and generosity. The non-stop kind smile, the politeness and effort to help guests feel, as written on the small blackboard at the entrance, at home is touching, memorable...thank you...

Location good on sea front access to all amenities lovely warm welcome from Panos .. room suffice apart from only 1 available plug socket had to jeep swapping and changing . Charging the phones making a cuppa or plugging in mosquito plug which is needed .. staff not welcoming during stay even could not say good morning @ breakfast which is very unlike Greek family run businesses everywhere else in the resort we got warm welcomes conversations etc .. even ordering food or drinks nothing but miserable faces hence we went out everyday all day … cleaners so noisy chatting first thing in morning not normal voices but loud on their phones etc we are on holiday and don’t need waking at this time appreciate some may be up early .. room not always cleaned properly spilt dry coffee on floor and dressing table for 3 days ?! Dirty cup left on balcony for same amount of time .. we will return to Roda but unfortunately not the Aphrodite we’re obviously not in the click ..

The room was spotless, modern, and surprisingly better than the room we had at a five-star hotel in Paphos. The hotel doesn't have lots of facilities, but with such an incredible beachfront location, we didn't miss them at all. What really makes this place special is the wonderful family who own and run the hotel. They work tirelessly from morning until night, always with a smile, making sure every guest feels at home. Their warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality create such a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere that you feel more like a valued guest than just another customer. Breakfast was another highlight, with delicious fresh, food and a lovely selection of fresh herbal teas. You can really tell that care go into everything they do. If you're looking for a peaceful, authentic place to unwind by the sea, with exceptional hospitality and a truly personal touch, I can't recommend the Aphrodite Beach Hotel highly enough. We left feeling relaxed, well looked after, and already looking forward to returning.

Aphrodite Beach Hotel isn't just somewhere to stay. It's somewhere to breathe, heal, reflect, and remember what really matters. I arrived exhausted from the craziness of Johannesburg and am leaving feeling lighter, calmer, and more alive. Waking up to the sound of waves rolling onto the shore, birds singing in the trees, a gentle breeze through the leaves, and even the cheerful clucking of happy hens has been therapy in itself. I've spent my days gazing across the beautiful hills of Neo Chorion, swimming in some of the clearest, most breathtaking water imaginable, star gazing at the beautiful night sky and enjoying fresh, healthy food prepared with care. What makes this place truly special is its charm and authenticity. It feels less like a hotel and more like a home away from home. Watching the owner tending the herb garden perfectly captures the spirit of the place —simple, genuine, and deeply connected to nature. The family who run the hotel are warm, welcoming, and completely dedicated to making every guest feel cared for. Their kindness and commitment shine through in every detail. If you're looking for a place to reconnect with yourself, find peace, and truly slow down, Aphrodite Beach Hotel is a rare gem. Highly recommended for anyone seeking tranquillity, natural beauty, and heartfelt hospitality.

We are locals and travel around the island a lot. We chose this hotel because a blogger recommended it as a family-run place. We thought that would be a sign of quality and something special. We were very wrong. I will never return to this hotel. Rooms: grey, empty, like a hospital. There are only two glasses. No drinking water is provided. The nearest shop is 2 km away. If you don’t have a car, the only way to buy water is at the hotel bar. There’s no tea, coffee, or kettle. Breakfasts are very basic. You won’t get poisoned, but there’s zero enjoyment. There is no sign of hospitality from the owner anywhere. We stayed during the Easter holidays. There was a group from Europe at the hotel. Despite this, there wasn’t a single sunbed on the beach—just a couple of broken chairs. The beach taverna was closed and covered in rubbish. Everything felt abandoned. There is no pool. No music or entertainment. The lobby furniture is 20 years old—and no, it’s not antique. For children: only one swing. Staff: all employees are from Asia, no locals. This suggests the owners don’t want to pay fair wages and instead bring in workers in exchange for accommodation and food. The only thing the owner seems to care about is reviews. So here is mine: stay away from this place. The room cost us 91.27, and we were charged every last cent. Believe me, for this money you’ll be much more welcome at other hotels and get far better service and positive emotion!
