This was our 4th visit to this hotel. The whole experience is great, the food, the rooms and the pools. The staff are so friendly and quick to solve any problems you might have. Some people say it is a bit remote but there are buses every 15 mins from right outside the hotel that will take you to coral bay or the kings mall terminus in Paphos for €2 a trip. The bar staff especially Kesimira and her sister Zoe are always ready to fill your glass. Overall highly recommend this place and have already booked for next year.

Lovely Hotel. Great staff throughout, good food, very clean. Bus stop outside to Corsl Bay & Pathos. The Spa was a disappointment, the pool there looked dirty. Hopefully the imminent refurb will sort that out. Would defo go back.

The hotel is located in a very remote area, so there’s really nothing interesting within walking distance. On the other hand, buses run every 15–20 minutes, which makes it easier to get around and explore nearby towns. The description says the hotel is only 150 meters from the beach — technically true, but that doesn’t include the cliffs you have to go down. The beach itself is gravel, not sand, so it might not suit everyone. The surrounding terrain is also quite steep, which can be challenging for some guests. The rooms were okay — clean and comfortable enough for a short stay, but nothing particularly special or memorable. For sure they have seen better days, but haven't noticed anything outrageous. When it comes to food, the main meals were average at best. However, the snacks available at the bar were a pleasant surprise — far better in both taste and presentation. The pool area was fine too, though it could use some maintenance, as a few tiles are missing and it’s clear that this has been the case for a while. What really stands out about this hotel is the staff — incredibly polite, friendly, and always ready to help. They truly make a difference and elevate the overall experience. Entertainment, on the other hand, was very limited. There’s usually one short water fitness session during the day and a small evening show, but the overall quality and variety would rate around 2–3/10. All in all, it’s a quiet, somewhat isolated hotel with great staff and decent facilities, but the location, beach access, and entertainment might not suit everyone. And what's the most important... Prices for the rooms are somewhat high for what the hotel offer's, My score 3/5

We have just returned from Theo sunset bay for a week. The views were nothing but spectacular, the staff were absolutely amazing. The food (all inclusive & bar) was fantastic. The daily water aerobics was great fun - Olivia you really are amazing. The guest relations manager Anastasia literally spent time getting to know the guests along with Olivia. To see such big smiles walking around the hotel each day was something I have never seen before. The only let down was the evening entertainment, Alexandra was fabulous massive hats off to her for getting all the guests involved with her energy. Olivia would run the daily activities around the hotel, even including wine tasting with cheese - that was lovely! We will be returning in September 2026. Thank you to all the staff for their welcoming and service with smiles. The room was cleaned everyday, our cleaner was such a lovely lady. The entire hotel was continuously cleaned, even the public toilets were always in tip top order. This hotel should be higher star rating than what it is. I would 100% recommend this to families.

Hotel room was just ok, AC had problem the first day then they fixed it. A strong smell of mold was there though.

No daily room cleaning in 40 degrees in Cyprus is a huge disappointment.

The staff overall average from reception to the bar, cleaners, except the manager who was really attentive and accommodating i must say.

We are all inclusive and they locked the ice cream fridge so you couldn’t have an ice cream at 9pm, we paid a lot for two rooms to not have ice cream at 9-10pm since we were “all inclusive”.

Wifi the worst ever.

The beach close to the hotel is actually full of huge rocks and is very dangerous so must take a car and drive for about 5 mins to a nice decent beach.

The only thing i liked was the beautiful sea view of the hotel, just that.

Not the best experience overall.

For the money you get better hotels and definitely better experience.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed.The room was
clean, and very comfortable!!!
We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect stay, and we look forward to coming back again in the future!!!

The hotel is lovely with beautiful views! The bedroom was nice and clean and the shower was great. The balcony was facing the sea which made it even better. The breakfast in the morning was ok, just like any other hotel, serving the same food daily. There is free wifi but very unreliable. There is a TV in the room but due to lack of wifi it did not work for the most part. The phone in the room was not working and had to report this along with lack of wifi. Staff are great. Had a massage in the spa, slightly pricey but the masseuse was lovely and did a good job. Considering you pay for the massage, the rest of the spa facilities are not included and there is an added price which I found odd. Having a massage booked in other hotels normally means that usual spa facilities are included, i.e sauna. Overall it was a good stay, just a shame that it is not within walkable distance to anything, however, public transport is great which makes up for it.

We had a room with a view on the sea! Nice place to sleep and have breakfast. Personally I am not into buffet dining but the breakfast food was good enough. We only had dinner here once and all was well except for the acoustics in the dining hall. Could be solved with acoustic plates in the ceiling.

Our stay at Theo Sunset Bay Hotel was truly delightful and exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. A special thanks goes to Olga and Helena, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, enjoyable, and memorable. Their kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism made a lasting impression.

The entire staff – from the waiters and bartenders to the housekeeping team – were incredibly friendly, cheerful, and always ready to help. They created a relaxed and positive atmosphere that added great value to our holiday. The cleanliness of the rooms and hotel facilities was impeccable and greatly appreciated.

The food was excellent – varied, flavorful, and always fresh. We especially appreciated the fact that nothing ever ran out and the selection was rich and suitable for both adults and children.
