I stayed at Flora Maria Hotel in Ayia Napa from 3–10 August 2025, and my experience was extremely disappointing and stressful.

When I first checked in, I had to wait three hours because my room was not ready or cleaned properly, which was unprofessional. During my stay, I was physically attacked by my ex-partner in my room, witnessed by a staff member, and the police were called. My ex-partner was asked to leave immediately. Despite this serious incident, the manager, Linda, showed no concern for my safety or wellbeing.

After the incident, Linda told me I could stay for the remaining days of my booking, but that I could not extend my stay further. When I had one day left, I asked the same staff member who had witnessed the attack if I could extend my stay, and he told me I could.

The following day, Linda shouted at me aggressively, demanded I cancel my booking immediately, and promised I would receive a refund within 48 hours. I had two witnesses, yet the refund was never issued. When I later contacted the hotel, Linda denied everything and accused me of lying, despite witness testimony.

I also overheard Linda instructing her staff to mislead other guests. When two women asked to extend their stay, she told them not to book on Booking.com and that they would have to pay at reception. After they walked away, she told staff to say the hotel was fully booked if anyone asked to extend, which is dishonest and unprofessional.

Linda also appeared very unfriendly and unapproachable, rarely engaging with or welcoming guests. This lack of professionalism made an already difficult experience worse.

While some staff were kind and helpful, the manager’s conduct was unacceptable, and I would not recommend this hotel, especially for guests in vulnerable situations.

I wouldn't say this is the nicest hotel I have stayed in but not the worst ,it's a bit tired in a lot of places but the beds are very comfy.
Need to lot of work to tidy up a bit but the price reflects in what you get and open out of season which is another bonus

The Manager Linda , 10 out of 10. The facility itself, perfectly allocated. The end of the day, you get what you pay for. It's very, very reasonably priced. So don't expect too much frills, maybe not even an elevator. But what you're getting is a safe place, safe, managed by good management in the perfect location for unbelievable value. In Europe, this has got to be one of the cheapest accommodations.

I stayed at Flora Maria Hotel and unfortunately had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in a hotel. The conditions were unacceptable and far below any reasonable standard: • The room, refrigerator, and balcony were very dirty. • Walls were yellowed, and shockingly, there were used socks hanging from a tree outside the balcony. • I found used ear sticks on the floor. • The shower leaked, the tap didn’t work properly, and there was no floor drain in the bathroom, so water collected and stayed on the floor. • The bathroom ceiling itself was leaking water. • Dirty linen and an unpleasant smell filled the room. • The bathroom also had hairs left from previous guests. • The balcony door didn’t close properly, which felt unsafe given the room was on the first floor facing a busy street. • The pool was dirty and gave off a bad smell. The most serious issue: every key could open every room. My friend stayed next door, and by chance we discovered our keys worked in each other’s rooms. This is an extreme security risk and absolutely unacceptable. I have videos also of other problems but can’t upload here. I strongly advise future guests to avoid this hotel until these serious issues are resolved.

Never go there they are scammers. Rooms have insects, smell like chlorine, expensive, no proper cleaning going on, understaffed, leaking ac’s, shower curtains fall apart, the photos are very much embellished compared to real life. Also they don’t refund you after you pay them so just don’t go they are a scam place, let them go into financial ruin and don’t give them a single euro.

extremely bad i do not recommend!! 0/10 hygiene, 0 cleaning services, strong chlorine smell to the point where it was so hard to breathe. faced wayyy too many issues there during my trip, and better not talk about their bathrooms... will never book again

The rooms are carpeted, they are in a mess, the electricity turns off if we move the curtain, the bathroom has no ventilation, it smells constantly and they say we have room cleaning, they never came in to clean the sheets, they had stains and hairs.

Wish there was an option for 0 stars. DO NOT STAY HERE. you do not stay at the place shown on the images. they walk you 5 minutes down the road to a residential trap house. It seemed as though the place we were in was a genuine housing for refugees. THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE AND SHOULD NOT BE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. STAY AWAY PLEASE

Don't give your money to bad people, because they didn't multiply!!! They stole us for 50€!!!!! Let me start with the fact that there is no hot water after the sun goes down!!! And if you try to talk to the clerk at the reception you will probably meet an annoying lady who will shout at you "talk to Booking" there is no one to talk to. That's the only thing she knows how to say! The whole room is ruined and broken! The lamps are broken and not working! Paint peeling and paint repairs everywhere. A water pipe runs through the middle of the room. Appears in the photos I have attached a white tube. And many more holes. The toilet and shower are full of mold and holes, it feels like a ruin! It really doesn't look like their pictures here! Now listen carefully to how rude people can be, you will be totally shocked!! It costs the same for a couple and a single. We touched a couple and by mistake I closed the reservation for a single person. The crooks didn't think for a minute and immediately wanted to charge us another 90 euros!!! We explained and showed the annoying lady that the price for a single person and the price for a couple is the same price online and of course she wanted to steal the money from him so she started to get angry. Now listen to the fascinating part, suddenly she picked up the phone and she wasn't really talking on the phone!!!! She was just playing it! Then she hung up and told us. Well, look what a beauty I got for the people discount, just bring another 50 euros. Everything was so bad!! They ruined our trip!!
