Reading the reviews I was a bit hesitant about the hotel and that soon evaporated on the first day , breakfast was amazing, dinner was amazing, beach was good enough for being lazy , pool was clean , all staff were friendly, all cats were hungry, the only downside I could think of that should be underlined more is the beach , entering the water in some areas is very dangerous as it's not sandy but...

Deniz Kizi and Golden Bay are adjacent to each other in an area called Karavas/Alsancak, North Cyprus. The sea is shallow and perfect for swimming. D Kizi has a lovely pool and the beach is shared with Golden Bay

Absolutely stunning location, the beach, the pool, the restaurant, but the most incredible thing was the dining on Sunday, where they cooked the lamb in the ground the old way and served in front of everyone

Very happy with our stay hotel room was very clean, food was delicious even for my children. Hotel staff and pool staff couldn't be anymore friendly and helpful. Highly recommend here.

Dining alfresco overlooking the bay in the evening was special. Staff were very helpful & polite. Beach is sandy, and has lovely bay with an outside restaurant, food very good. Pool is very big with plenty of sun beds

We visited for the day, as local beaches are litter-strewn in northern Cyprus it seems, but hotel-managed ones aren't. This is a lovely beach and facilities, great food, clean sea, and very lovely staff at the site.

Overall: a reliable, cosy choice for travellers who prioritise location, cleanliness and friendly service. It’s not luxury, but it’s a pleasant place to base yourself while exploring the area

Near Kyrenia Harbour We stayed here this October and the weather was just perfect The Ship Inn is in a great spot, only about 10–15 minutes from Kyrenia Harbour, which is really beautiful and historic

Around the pool it’s very pleasant with bar and playing boards like ping pong. Beaches are very close to the hotel, it takes 15 min by bus. Also, the city center is so close to the hotel for dinner

I stayed for 1 week at this hotel with my husband. The overall impression is pretty good; the hotel is very quiet to relax. You can go to the pool or beach

Given we have friends who have stayed in Ship Inn on 3 separate occasions it was a simple choice for us to select for two days before our ferry to Turkiye

The hotel is on a main road, so there are quite a few buses going past, and lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance, which was really handy

The staff were polite, the presentation spotless and general ambience relaxing. We would definitely recommend when visiting Kyrenia

Breakfast options are very varied. (But egg dishes were cold) I also enjoyed the swimming pool

The gardens and pool area are lovely although as we were staying in December we did not use them much! My room was on the first floor with a balcony. It was a good size and the bed very comfy

There is a beautiful garden at the Hotel with a pool, where you can enjoy the mediterranean sun and have a great outlook on the kyrenia mountain range

There is a beautiful fruit garden at the back and collection your own fruit is welcomed, the loquats were the best I have ever tried! It is not a long walk from the sea and restaurants and bars, there is no nois at all at nighttime

A way from the busy highway, this little gem of a hotel was a great find. The communtal areas are full for amazing antiques, photograps and books, but the rooms were very clean and modern, great hot water

A great place where you get what you pay for. The staff and hotel owner were kind and friendly. I was only planning to stay there for accommodation purposes while I was sorting out my dealings

They helped us hire a car too and made it easy for us! Close to beaches (escape beach/ shayna/ acapulo water park) I love it here and will look forward to coming back!

You’re greeted by Duyagor and Husain on reception who do there very best to assist your every need. The rooms are a good size with a amazing roof top pool with views over looking the Mediterranean and the harbour

Very good, clean spacious rooms, air-con is fantastic/ very good location to the harbour/ the roof pool is very good/ the lift is good/all staff are very nice and attentive helpful and try as much as they can! The wifi is good, I’ve seen some people reviews not happy with it but has been very good for me and inside the room

It’s hard to know where to start … our first time in Cyprus, Dad has been coming here for years, it was instantly obvious why he has been back so many times! We had very good flights from stansted to ercan, arrived at the hotel and was very impressed with staff coming out to carry out suitcase’s, we stayed in room 201 next to the swimming pool, room is dated but spacious and very clean, the hotel could not run without Melissa she has everything under control, most of the holiday makers are regular visitors and been coming for years, there is no entertainment...

They cannot do enough for you, and make you feel part of the family. This place is ideal for people who just want to relax, laze about in the sun by the pool and let the world go by

Let me assure everybody who reads this, these owners and staff are wonderful people and we have known them for many years, the hotel is fantastic and for a 3 star and the price, you would be hard pressed to find a better hotel

The grounds and gardens are beautiful, with the view of the mountains, which you wake up to every morning in the glorious sunshine. I've just read a couple of reviews on here that seem to be very misleading though

It's only a 3 star hotel, so don't expect all the trimmings of a 5 star, but for the price, you cannot fault it. It is a very popular hotel, due to the owners and staff, who are absolutely wonderful people

Numerous returning customers, year after year will vouch for this. It's just a shame you get the odd dissatisfied customer, who feels brave to slander people online, and not face to face

The rooms are lovely mostly with sea views. The pool and terrace areas are very inviting. We usually have breakfast and dinner on the terrace during the summer months. On one side you have a stunning mountain view

We are fairly regular visitors at the Manolya Hotel. We feel like it is our second home. The hotel is family run and very friendly. Two of the owners Mehmet and Ayten have always been very warm and welcoming to us

Also all the staff, many who have been there for over 5 years. In particular Sarafat, Alum, Polash and Ismal to name a few. The level of service is fantastic with a personal touch

I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a welcoming, warm and fabulous stay and with great service and fantastic views. There is also a lovely sandy beach next to the hotel

Rooms are no frills but clean. Only shampoo and soap provided. The pool area is very lovely and the pool is open all night so perfect for a late night dip!

The hotel is very good, clean and quiet. The staff also are good and friendly, especially the lady in the reception was so kind and generous.

No comlimentry water either and they charge you 5 times the price as the local supermarket next door! No fresh coffee at breakfast which for a country who do excellent coffee I was most disappointed! The rooms over looking the road and VERY noisy and with a young family the noise did have an effect on our sleep! I know this sounds very negative but there are good points

Just a few small changes and this place would easily be 4 stars. I was surprised to find you have to pay for tea and coffee in your room, every hotel I've ever stayed in, in all my travels this has been complimentary

Breakfast is served on the Terrace overlooking the sea, with fabulous views. They have a pool at the top part of the Hotel, which has plenty of sunbeds

For example, I lost my credit card in Istanbul and the hotelier Huseyin was able to contact his network of relatives to retrieve my card from lost and found at IST airport and bring it to Northern Cyprus for me! It was a miracle and saved me a lot of worry

If you would prefer a more private facility, they have a superb sun deck down on the sea itself with step access to the water. This is a very peaceful hotel, its adults only which suited me for a quite break away

They operate a great What's App system which you join via your room number which enables you to order breakfast from your room and it will be ready on the terrace when you say you will be down

Huseyin also gave me plenty of help in sightseeing, even arranging alternatives to the usual tourist sights, such as a hiking trip into the mountains with his tour guide cousin’s group

Often you hear hotels say that when you stay with them, you are family. But High Life was the first time I actually felt that. They really went above and beyond to help me in any way

The close and warm attention of the employees, their helpfulness, the wonderful breakfast, the fragrant Turkish coffee every morning, the proximity to the beach within a 5-minute walk, and the large parking lot won our hearts

The paintings hanging on the walls were wonderful, I recommend you to take a look during your stay. We came across a piano concert during our stay and it was very nice. The hotel is very close to everywhere

Loved my stay at Dorana Hotel! The suite was huge – two rooms with a beautiful sea view. The rooftop bar is perfect for an afternoon coffee while watching the sunset over the sea

We stayed here with 3 friends for 1 night on our trip. The room was clean, there was hot water. We stayed in a duplex room, the air conditioning was a bit insufficient for heating but it wasn't a big problem for us

It is difficult to reach without a car. But it is in a very nice location. Since we rented a car, it was not a problem. The sheets and linens were always clean. We stayed a few times and found it clean every time

But the authorities took care of it immediately and changed our room immediately when it could not be solved at that time. Since we only bought a room, I cannot say anything about food and beverage

The sea is safe and shallow and easily accessible from steps adjacent to the hotel pool! Excellent staff, food and cleanliness. Wonderful pool with towels provided for the sun beds. Excellent food at very reasonable prices. I have not stayed overnight so I can’t comment on that!

The common areas and bedrooms are tastefully decorated, beds, bedding and pillows rewarded an excellent night’s sleep and the room is complete with coffee and tea making facilities plus a mini fridge of delights! The views are stunning from every direction and the pool offers plenty of sun-beds, hammocks and shades to relax and be waited on by the pool bar

Second time in Manolya hotel, its really beautiful hotel just above the sea, beach is amazing super clean waters swimming pool brand new and modern, staff is very polite and helpful! Aydin was extra nice and treated us with champagne and fresh fruits upon our arrival, you should definitely visit Manolya!

Wonderful hotel in a stunning location. The staff were very responsive to any issues. The pool area needs to highlight the depth of the swimming pool as it suddenly drops from a few feet deep to approx 7 feet

This is a simple fix that would negate the chance of a child getting into trouble. Those with mobility issues do have access to the pool area, and staff are very helpful

My wife and I had a delightful holiday. It's a very good hotel for the price. The food was delicious, and the sea and pool were beautiful. The overall service quality met our expectations

The poolside cafe also offers a large choice of generously portioned dishes. If I had one minor criticism it would be the lack of musical entertainment in the evening which we only enjoyed on one night out of seven

Tea & coffee replenished daily. Nice for swimming & children safe there. Early September no need at all to save beds. Out door drinks on stations available. Towels have a charge but refund at end of holiday

Comfortable rooms, large palm strewn gardens with 3 enticing pools and a small beach. The evening buffets showcase a variety of local dishes, something different every night

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Oscar Hotel. A little out of town but easily accessible by taxi or hotel shuttle in less than 10 minutes (or a 20 min walk)

The standard of facilities are of a good standard and I was also able to watch the Arsenal game at the weekend (bonus!). the staff helped to find the channel. The staff are all excellent and attentive

The shower in my room had good pressure and hot water. The only slight reservation is how remote this place is, but again I guess that is part of the beauty also

They have a no food or drink from outside the hotel is permitted rule but we saw people coming in with bags from the local supermarket

Would recommend you have a hire car if you are booked here as it a good walk to nearest supermarket (Starling)

The hotel has a lovely pool and poolside bar - the location is stunning with the mountainous backdrop in one direction and the Mediterranean sea in the other

Pool is lovely but this hotel is obviously used by business men who conducted their loud business meetings at the pool side which was not conducive to a relaxing swim and sunbathe

Inside the neighborhood there is a pool that can be used by staying guests, as well as a quiet restaurant, just minutes away from the comfort of your apartment, but if you don't feel like walking you can order food straight to your door

This was our first vacation in Cyprus. Did not regret choosing this hotel. Good location, very close to the sea. Throughout the stay, the staff was always polite and courteous. Will definitely come back again.

Very nice apartment. It was clean and big enough for up to six people to stay. The owners are some Russian people, they where friendly and where able to help us with stuff in the apartment. Would stay again!

Most liked the convenient location of the hotel. It is located in the center and everything you need: the sea, shops, beaches, etc. The administration of the Rix hotel is polite, no one was rude

The time we spent at Rix was truly amazing, the accomodation was great given it's price. The staff was very welcoming and ready to help us with whatever issues we might run into
