Mc Palace Hotel Spa & Convention in Kyrenia

We came on holiday with my wife to Cyprus for the first time. Over the years we have travelled a lot and seen different hotels but what we experienced in MC Palace hotel I would NOT advise anyone to experience. The hotel has major problems with the foreign language. The staff in the hotel doesnt know English. for a 5 star hotel this is a great shame. We just wanted to make an order in the restaurant, but the staff started talking to us in Turkish, when he realised that we were foreigners he made a disgruntled face and said something in Turkish, unfortunately we didn’t understand anything and we aren’t obliged to know your language! on his face it was obvious that he was not happy with us, then this gentleman opened the translator in his phone and started to communicate with us and take our order by writing messages through the phone. is this possible in a 5 star hotel? I don't think so. Thank you very much to Mustafa (barman) and the girls from the reception ( unfortunately I forgot to ask their names). They were the only people who knew English well and made our holiday good and helped us with any questions we had. If you want your hotel to succeed find staff who know foreign language and love their job. I want to give advice to tourists who will go on holiday in this hotel. Find out in advance whether there are any activities in this hotel. We came on holiday but couldn’t even get a good night's sleep!!! There was a wedding in the hotel!!!there was music playing and lots of shouting until the night. I felt like I wasn’t sleeping in a hotel I think I slept in the concert hall. Please think about the guests in your hotel who bring you money. I was disappointed with my holiday and will never go back to this hotel again.
