9 Muses Hotel in Larnaka

Fantastic stay here at the 9 Muses boutique hotel. The rooms are all on the first floor with balconies; ours was one of the smaller ones but very comfortable, clean and well appointed with a good shower. There's a great café next door and good bars (not part of the hotel) below and across the road. There's also free parking in the multi-storey across the road, but the ramps between floors are quite steep. Again, not part of the hotel, but useful! It's situated close to the beach, just a couple of streets away, which suited us because you didn't get traffic/people noise from the busiest area. It's also just a couple of streets away from a brand new shopping centre and the church of St Lazarus, which is quite magnificent, sitting in the town square surrounded by cafés and shops. We walked everywhere in the town at all times of the day and night and it was quite safe. The hotel is family run and they are so keen to serve. Breakfast was plentiful - cereals, meats, cheese, madeira cake, orange juice, toast and crèpes all brought to the table; coffee continuously topped up; eggs/omelette/full English made to your liking. We accidentally left our passports in the safe after checking out and they made every effort to contact us before we got to the airport, which we're very grateful for! Highly recommend this fab little hotel.

Lovely boutique hotel, our room was fabulous and the breakfast is superb. The staff are really helpful and friendly. There is a lot of work going on in the local area on the footpaths but this did not detract from our stay and will improve the location when completed in the near future.

We stayed here for three days. The location is great, very near to the beach and close to good restaurants and pubs. The rooms are nicely decorated, giving them a special charm. Not your typical 4-star big hotel. This feels very different. We also got the feeling that the staff really cared about us having a good stay. They where polite, flexible and helpfull and easy to communicate with in english (we booked the hotel directly with the hotel, as this was cheaper than suggested through booking services). When we left the hotel, we unfortunately left a few items in our room. The owner was very helpful so that we managed to get them back.

Had two most wonderful stays here at 9 muses. Each room is dedicated to a muse, all from the Greek myths. It's well thought through, and the decor is sweet and a bit over the top. The bed was huge and super comfortable. Lovely top terrace to do some morning yoga on, overlooking the ocean. I was blown away by the generous breakfast with so much healthy food and home .ade (pressed) orange juice. The boss, Panichos, and his family care about Larnica, I found him painting a window down the street blue, which was really sweet. This place is filled with love, attention to details, and the kind of hospitality you really look for, the natural, Cyprian one.

A beautiful hotel in the centre of the best part of town, close to the beach with a secret roof top terrace where you can watch the sun go down over Larnaca. Friendly service, generous and yummy breakfast and great value.

A superb hotel offering excellent service in a warm and friendly manner. First class breakfast served by friendly table service. Comfortable and elegant establishment.

I liked this hotel, it is very cozy and different from what people generally expect. It is close to the beach and St. Lazar church. Every room is named after a muse and comes with a short description. There is a nice bar on top. Drinks in the fridge come as a compliment.

This hotel is fabulous and centrally located in Larnaca. I was very happy as a solo traveler and would come back in a heartbeat. The room I booked included breakfast and it was so good and homemade. They have welcome gifts in the room which added the small extra touch. I loved the location near the beach

We had an amazing stay in Larnaca! I really appreciate the hotel owners for being so understanding when we had to cancel our original booking - they let us stay three months later without any extra charge. The place has such a cozy, welcoming vibe that makes it feel like home. It’s very clean, beautifully kept, and super comfortable. The breakfast was fresh, tasty, and clearly made with love. A great experience overall!

I booked the hotel 2 months ago through booking.com but had to cancel on last minute due to change of travel plans. Although we passed the free cancellation threshold and were charged full price as we should, the hotel (Marina) was kind to keep an open reservation for us and let us stay with no charge after 2 months - this was a kind beautiful gesture, not taken for granted.
The hotel is beautiful and clean, elegantly decorated with a great location close to the sea broad-walk. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come again. Highly recommended.
