Hai Hotel in Larnaka

All of the 5 star reviews must absolutely be fake. Stayed here for one night, 5 and a half months pregnant and had to be up at 4am for a flight the next day. The music from the bar next door is awful - so loud, thumping bass from 9pm-2am. The hotel even give you ear plugs in the room which should have been a warning sign!! The noise from other guests in the corridor is also very noticeable. Rooms are definitely not soundproofed as a reply from the hotel to a previous bad review on here would have you believe. We literally did not sleep until 2am when the music was turned off.

Reception is only staffed 8am - 4pm. So, if you do need anything outside of those times there is nobody there.

Have complained directly to the hotel before writing this review, unfortunately their response was less than satisfactory, was offered a voucher to spend directly with the hotel (?!) although explained I am not likely to be travelling again in the next year due to pregnancy, and would not choose to stay here again in any event, so not really an offer of compensation at all when it’s highly unlikely to be used. Would have expected at least a partial monetary compensation.

Noise was ridiculous from the bar next door - didn’t sleep until it stopped at 2am. Nobody on reception from 4pm until 8am the next day if you did need anything. Noise from other guests also unacceptable and extremely loud. Absolutely would not recommend.
