The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and cleaned daily, air-conditioned, and equipped for making basic drinks (coffee, tea). The beds were fairly comfortable, although in my opinion the pillows could be better...

We have just returned home after another great holiday at the Amethyst Hotel. What makes the Amethyst really special is the staff throughout the hotel, they are all very friendly and helpful. I spent a very relaxing and funny week at the Amethyst Hotel at Aiya Napa. I need to praise the entertainer who made sure that I laugh every day. He was called by different names daily by other tourists as well. (The Buyas, The Cardinator, Pipi Johnny etc) If you choose the Amethyst Hotel dont hesitate to look for the entertainer. A disaster hotel, the furnishings are rundown, worn, and worn. Plaster is falling from the ceiling, the fixtures are no longer secure, and the facilities aren't cleaned. Breakfast is a disaster in itself. Towels aren't provided either. Only two large ones and one small one. Anyone who wants this book should be prepared for an adventure.

The location is excellent, right next to the seaside promenade, and close to both the Intercity long-distance bus station and the Larnaca bus station. It offers convenient access to dining, entertainment, and public transportation to surrounding cities and the airport. However, the front desk staff were rather indifferent.

Asked for a sea view, and the view was amazing. Nice rooms, good bar, good breakfast, good service, decent sized pool and the hotel is in a great location next to the beach and next to all the nightlife and shops. Only negative would be the sunbeds, they are in a shocking condition. I would go again.

We arrived home last weekend after 13 nights here. I think some of the recent reviews are a little unfair. We found the staff on reception friendly and helpful and although there are issues with late check out we were offered full use of the facilities near the spa to get a shower (I was the only person in there) and storage for our cases until our flight that evening. The hotel is clean, rooms aren't massive but they are clean as well. The pool is small, far too small for big inflatables and ball games. Some so called adults acted worse than children. If you have a late flight don't stay here, I don't think they have even heard of a late checkout room.

We were at Arsinoe Beach in April 2014, arrived on April 30. Hotel 3 stars. We had breakfast, dinner. I must say, they are fed hearty, tasty and varied. And this is not only my opinion. Very nice hotel with good facilities. Can be a little busy at breakfast & the kitchen struggle to keep up with demand at times. Thankfully we had a wonderful waitress - Nurcan - who looked after us and made sure we got what we needed.

Located in the center of the city. The design is strange, huge, non functional furniture and strange installation of mirror and hairdryer. The safe did not work. The breakfast is good and offers choices but it is the same every day. The staff is kind and do not miss the fortune telling messages at the reception.

The staff was very friendly, and everything was clean. Breakfast was very good. However, the bed wasn’t very comfortable, and the room doors slam shut loudly — which can be disturbing at night. One major issue was the pool hours: it’s only open from 10:00 to 18:00, right during the peak heat (43°C when we visited in July). It’s hard to enjoy the pool in such extreme heat, and the hours don’t work well...

The building and rooms are good but the staff are the grumpiest I have met anywhere in the world. The man in the bar was extremely rude and when challenged he said that a customer had irritated him. You got the sun in the morning, next time i would probably choose pool view as they had sun in the afternoon. Room was cleaned every day. The overall stay was very nice. We've been there twice, hope to come again in the coming months and years. We've seen some known faces from the last year, very smiley and approachable receptionist, I think it was Fotini. Restaurant is very nice too, staff attentive, great job done with renovation of it. Me and my partner stayed at king Jason for 10 nights over Christmas and I couldn’t fault it, we had a studio room, everything was perfect, from the robes, slippers balcony it was all just lovely, fresh water each day. We hired a car for 6 days from Leo, 100% recommended, car was brand new, great condition and great communication. The staff were absolutely incredible, from the domestic, bar, waitresses...

I highly recommend this hotel for a perfect stay. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, from check-in to housekeeping. The room was spotless, the amenities were excellent, and every detail was thoughtfully handled.

We visited for the day, as local beaches are litter-strewn in northern Cyprus it seems, but hotel-managed ones aren't. This is a lovely beach and facilities, great food, clean sea, and very lovely staff at the site.

This hotel is a beautiful and charming place for a peaceful holiday. We enjoyed our time, the amazing staff, and the gorgeous views. We will definitely be back many times to come and recommend to others.

Cheap but really nice. Everything in one place. One is the best beach in TRNC.

The beach is cool, clean and was also not to crowded. You pay for each person 25 Turkish Lira in order to have your private space on the beach, which Is a very fair price. If you want to relax and enjoy the sun this beach is a great spot. We checked also the food on the restaurant that you can eat but we decided not to eat it. It was in our opinion too expensive and didn’t look so good.
