Beautiful weather to be on the beach but no sun loungers or umbrellas out on the beach, very poor for the price. I would not rate this as a five star hotel. It needs a major update. Would not recommend this hotel to my friends and family members, our days in long beach villas were much better than this

We really loved this hotel - our favourite of all the hotels we stayed in in Northern Cyprus. It had an absolutely lovely beach area, with a flame pit. There were also restaurants on the beach and we ate at one of them and the food was good. The room was really very nice, and the only issue was that we had an ant infestation, which we reported to reception. We also had cocktails in the bar, and I had a massage in the spa, but all in all this is one of the highest standard places in this part of Cyprus.

The front parking area has turned into a shipping container depot, causing parking problems every day. I was woken again at 4:00am with the shipping container doors being opened, it seems this is now being used as an extension to the hotel..

This hotel has some very questionable, shady practices in regards to how they do business. The price of the hotel was comparable to staying a night at Palm Jumierah, Dubai, but it has none of the perks. The area is quiet, but the hotel itself is not up to date, the people that work there are particularly cold and rude to guests.

Not really sure why anyone would want to stay on the ghost town side of famagusta, hardly a ‘holiday’ destination when your view is derelict hotels & properties? Really not nice at all. Hotel dated Views awful - fence along the beach cordoning off the ghost town and areas damaged by the war in 1974.

I was dubious coming to the hotel due to some of the reviews, however, I didn't need to worry. The staff have been amazing and the cleanliness in and around the hotel amazing. I would have given 5 stars, however a few things maybe the hotel can review for others 1 - either soundproof the rooms (which isn't easy) or maybe supply earplugs. 2 nights we've been woken by inconsiderate guests speaking extremely loudly at 3am! 2 - food needs to be hotter. Luke warm soup etc really isn't nice 3 - the dogs.. as lovely as they are, none have been neutered and guess nature takes its toll. I did advise reception as there will be 6/8 more pups in 9 weeks or so. Hopefully they can get her to the vets in time A day can be spent 5 minutes walk in Varooşa, amazing but sombre to see the after effect from the war.

It’s very pricey for what it actually is. The staff are lovely, especially Nazar who was an affable and friendly chap, however this hotel does not represent value for money. The facilities are very basic and this is reflected in the rooms and amenities. The dining, although acceptable, is nothing to write home about. The pool is very basic and there is very little for the children to do. I am also confused about the beaches, which people seem to love, but I found to be nice but not spectacular. Either I missed the point of this hotel or people have unnecessarily hyped it up. This felt like a very basic IBIS type hotel that happens to be in Cyprus. Considering what they charge, I think the Arkin needs to step it up.

Excellent location, breakfast very good. Spa area nice too. Only snag is that we requested ice to our room , they told us that they would to chargeable.

Nice hotel and nice beach. You do not need to stay hotel for entering the beach. You can pay the entry fee and you can enter to the beach. And very nice services are waiting you at the beach of this hotel. You can order your appetizers with cold drink or you can order a meal here and they are bringing it to you the place which you enjoying the sun and sea.
