We recently returned from a wonderful holiday at Aphrodite Hills and can’t speak highly enough of the experience. The resort itself is beautiful – immaculate grounds, stunning views, and a peaceful atmosphere perfect for relaxation.
What really stood out, however, was the exceptional service from the whole team but special mention to Vasilis! He was incredibly friendly and extremely hard-working throughout our stay. He consistently went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and always greeted us with a warm smile. It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated and genuine – he truly made a lasting impression.
Whether you’re looking for a relaxing escape or a family-friendly resort with great service, Aphrodite Hills is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!
All the resturants were good. We don't really like buffets as a rule of thumb but this one was very good the times we did go. Very good for our friend with food allergies. The chef couldn't have been more helpful to her. Our favourite were the El Sabor and Jasmine. We also ate in the village area a few times. As children under seven we only had a choice of three. Our favourite in the village was the italian. During the day El Sabor and the pool bars do lunch if you don't fancy heading in for the buffet.
Sun loungers in the height of August I was expecting issues but we had none. Main pool, yes, busy. Adult pool a smidge less busy but the splash park always had beds as did the activity pool and also the health club pool. The health club is a bit of a secret oasis as only 14 loungers inside and out and always quite.
The entertainment staff we didn't get to know a well as the activity team but on stage were excellent and gave 100%. Children's daily highlight was the Tui Bot disco. The lobby bar was another night spot if you don't fancy the show lounge. Also, a thank you to the excellent wait staff in the Carob bar, my afternoon tea and biscuits became a bit of a ritual.
The only, very minor, changes I'd make would be the late daily room clean, which rendered our room basically unusable during the day (I think we were one of the last rooms each day) and also the a la carte restaurants which open at 6.30pm, by 8pm when the kids disco thing started I often found myself rushing off leaving my supper uneaten to get them there. A 6pm opening would be great. One restaurant actually packed up the kids food one day for us as my daughter's food arrived at 7.55pm after a 6.30pm booking.
Saying that all very lovely and would recommend.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
The pools are cold. We were supposed to be staying at a hotel with an indoor pool.
The location is fine if you just want to play golf.
