I loved every minute of my holiday, it’s a brilliant location near the beach and night life if that’s what you want, also peace and quiet if that’s what you want, it’s clean with very friendly staff nothing is too much trouble the guy on the steam and sauna very helpful, bar and restaurant staff made us feel welcome always remembering my decaf coffee and favourite drink, I enjoyed the food it’s one of the best chillies I’ve had in a long time, the Indian night was very good, no complaints at all, I will be back thank you to all the staff for a lovely holiday.

We have just stayed 11 nights all inclusive at the Mandali ! Our first time here and first time in Protaras! We will be back again next year for sure 100% ! Such a lovely place great location good facilities really nice family vibe. We had seen bad reviews about the food but my experience of food is very positive some of the meals there are out of this world! Louie the chef is a great guy he came Spoke to us every day checked we were happy personal touch ! The restaurant and bar staff are simply amazing so friendly and accommodating they made the stay so good especially Prayash and Soraj and Dhan all the staff are lovely! I can strongly recommend this hotel we loved our time there ! The beach is 5 mins away what a wonderful stay. Thanks for everything Mandali see you again next year all the best 👍❤️

Asked for a sea view, and the view was amazing. Nice rooms, good bar, good breakfast, good service, decent sized pool and the hotel is in a great location next to the beach and next to all the nightlife and shops. Only negative would be the sunbeds, they are in a shocking condition. I would go again.

We arrived home last weekend after 13 nights here. I think some of the recent reviews are a little unfair. We found the staff on reception friendly and helpful and although there are issues with late check out we were offered full use of the facilities near the spa to get a shower (I was the only person in there) and storage for our cases until our flight that evening. We could also relax in the comfort of the air conditioned reception area while we awaited our transfer home. The rooms are adequate and clean but basic, our shower curtain had definitely seen better days in room 302 and if it had been renewed it would have made the bathroom look so much nicer! The air conditioning is free and very good. There was no privacy screen to the right of our balcony but this was actually quite nice as we got chatting to our lovely neighbours who lived not too far from us back home. It was also nice as they left us coffee, wine and snacks on our balcony when they left! The staff at Mandali were all very pleasant. Our room was cleaned daily but on one occasions we were left with no toilet roll and on another no towels but we called reception and this was immediately rectified. Breakfast was fine but busy. Food was pretty good my main gripes were there was no real butter provided just margarine, no danishes provided just bread rolls, small plain croissants, cake and olive or apple rolls. There are freshly made pancakes available and omelettes made to order and we were happy overall with the choice of food available. We also paid for an evening roast dinner here which again was nice but sadly no gravy provided. The location is fantastic in a quiet area but a 5 minute walk to the main strip and a 2 minute walk to the beach. There is also a gorgeous ice cream parlour next to the hotel which I highly recommend! Big tip! Do not get a sun bed near the pier as the water is full of rocks instead walk 5-10 minutes further down the front were the sea is clear of rocks and beautiful and sandy. The pool is fairly small and very cold in the morning and the sun does go behind the hotel for half of the day so we spent most of our days at the beach. There are plenty of sun beds just mostly in shaded areas. We had a lovely holiday and highly recommend the trip to the ghost town Verosha with Mr John and Mr Ahmed, the stories they told brought a tear to my eye. Protaras itself was a lot busier than we expected and we didn’t have a single bad meal the whole time we were there. We particularly enjoyed Sonja’s restaurant and the Chinese Wan Chai - staff were lovely and attentive and food was so delicious we went twice. We will return to Cyprus again in the future but would probably pay a little more for a more luxurious hotel, however, if you just need a decent hotel in a great location that’s not too expensive then I would recommend Mandali.

The hotel is clean, rooms aren't massive but they are clean as well. The pool is small, far too small for big inflatables and ball games. Some so called adults acted worse than children. If you have a late flight don't stay here, I don't think they have even heard of a late checkout room.

Location is excellent. If you dont want the busy ***** on an evening, walk left or the right on beach decking for a few quieter restaurants. Small pool. Too many sunbeds, many are broken. Sun is out around baby pool for most of day, but then you have to listen to noisy kids all day especially the locals that come in at weekends. Go to beach its quieter. Only 7:50 for 2 sunbeds & umbrella. Rooms are basic but clean. Many rooms have no view. bath with shower. so have to step up. not good if u have disabilities. Stayed b&b breakfast satisfactory.

Our 3rd stay at the Mandali, and sadly, probably the last unless things improve. PROS *Location - Amazing…just a short stroll to the beach, the pier and boardwalk that takes you both up and down the coast. And also just a little uphill walk to the main *****. Location is probably the best thing about hotel if I’m honest. *Pool - good size with steps down and not too deep, getting lengths in was certainly doable. Decidedly cold first thing, but does warm up after a few hours. *Cleanliness - Great - public areas and rooms are kept spotlessly clean by maids. *Friendliness of staff - most of the staff are friendly and welcoming. *Disability access - Great - no problems accessing hotel both interior and exterior. CONS *Breakfast - I never thought anywhere could muck up a breakfast but they smashed it this year! When you only ever have bread/buns with butter and jam on holiday, you don’t ever think there’ll be an issue. This year we were offered loaves of bread which had to be sliced, so you had a germ infested hand holding one end whilst, slicing the other end. Just no!!! Said bread was drier than the Sahara to the point trying to swallow it, was really difficult. A few days later we had bread buns that were so hard, they’d have passed for rocks! As I didn’t fancy a visit to dentist, we gave up and stopped going to breakfast full stop! This is basic stuff and inexcusable that they didn’t get it right. *Restaurant - if you choose to sit outside, be prepared for the selfish blighters who can’t go half an hour without lighting up a cigarette. A sure fire way to spoil someone’s meal. No need for it! *Sunbeds - a high proportion of sunbeds are damaged and pose a safety risk for anyone using them. This has been brought up, but hotel management don’t appear to be interested, and seemingly neither are TUI or JET2 who surely should be inspecting properties more thoroughly? The damage is either cracked or fully broken struts underneath or missing elastic straps, with the potential for someone to seriously hurt themselves. This is something that management/maintenance should be on top of and clearing away beds that are a danger. *Pool - deep end is missing lots of tiles and the loose ones we saw, had been attempted to be stuck down with silicone adhesive as opposed to grout. It was also full of sand debris the entire time, so pool vacuum (if they have one) is clearly ineffective. Pool shaded for most of the afternoon, due to its position. *Rooms ending in 01 and 02 have no privacy screen on the balcony between the 2 rooms, this wouldn’t have been an issue but for the fact that our special kind of thick neighbours actually climbed and leant over the divide and helped themselves to our travel pegs that were placed on our dryer!!! Never in all my 56 years of travelling has anyone stooped so low!! A quick note under their door and they were thrown back over to our side, but for the first time ever, I was wary about leaving anythin
