Central Bohemian Region, Prague, Panska 9 🧭 Map
The room was a good size (2 doubles)
The layout was ok but no privacy between the 2 doubles
Storage was minimal for hanging clothes
The pillows and bed were comfortable
The bathroom was not the best, it was usable but did not feel luxurious in the slightest
The shower was old and worn
Very Good and varied breakfast, pleasant dining room, comfortable beds, relatively pleasant room, slightly dim lighting, excellent heating, but no mirrors in the room. Nice and basic shower room. The hotel itself is modern, elegant and very pleasant. Excellent location!!
The hotel is nice and well located, though quite busy. The room was rather small, and the sound insulation could be improved — noise from the hallway was audible even at night. The location is excellent and very convenient for exploring the area. However, the towels are quite worn and should be replaced. The staff are nice and helpful.
Hotel and staff were excellent. The only thing I would say is it would have been nice if the bar area was more inviting. The bar was always quiet. Maybe it would be good if there was some form of entertainment in the evening. This way maybe people would stay in the hotel and utilise the bar. Other than that it was a lovely stay.
Would definitely stay again.
Nice hotel, good breakfast, great location very central. Only small issue is the shower. It's a great shower but it was leaking below the door, watering everything... Beside that it's a great hotel.
Great hotel for family of 4! Rooms were spacious and renovated. Bathroom was spacious pretty good for a European hotel room and a great price too!

I was a little bit stressed cause we were early for our reservation but the staff was very kind to let us check in a little early and even gifted us two drinks vouchers. The room was nice and clean, quiet and close to the lift, all things that made for a really nice stay.
We also used the private sauna which was so lovely and a great way to start our travels for our two year wedding anniversary trip...
The location is so convenient. And the room is so clean. We enjoy it so much
**Amazing Hotel with Great Design and Comfort**
This hotel was fantastic! Everything was very clean, modern, and beautifully designed. The extra-comfortable bed was a highlight and made for a great night’s sleep.
The location was perfect—quiet and peaceful, yet still in the city center. The staff were absolutely amazing, super friendly, and helpful throughout our stay.
Highly recommend this hotel...
Beautiful hotel with very good location.
Highly recommended 👍🏼
Had a lovely 3-night stay at this hotel. I had a comfort room with breakfast included. The room was a good size, as was the bathroom. It was very clean and modern. There was a bottle of Prosecco in ice and 2 glasses waiting for me on arrival, as well as still and sparkling water.
Breakfast was available from 7:00-10:30am each day. There was a good selection of cereals, fruit and yoghurt. There were...
We had a wonderful time the hotel is exceptionally clean and well located with friendly and very helpful staff.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Prague.

The room and the entire accommodation are significantly older and smaller than pictured, and it's also very noisy. The floor creaks with every step, we can hear every word from the neighboring rooms, and even people walking by are clearly audible. The bed is small and short. The sink is old and wobbly. The floor is uneven and therefore very dangerous. You have to be extremely careful with every movement...
Location of the hotel was great it was near the metro easy access to everything and walking distance to the city centre The customer service from staff was great they very polite and helpful the problem we have with the hotel is that we booked at least two month ago for double room when we arrived we were allocated the loft / economy room No amenities/ no view except looking at the building chimney...
The room is clean and spacious. The room is high and not oppressive at all. The service staff are friendly and help with luggage.
Stayed one night great location right by Wenceslas Square and the metro. Room was clean and comfortable, perfect for a short stay. Staff were polite and check-in was easy. Rooftop view was a nice bonus. Would stay again for a quick trip to Prague.
Just one cons it’s all stairs
Very well located, small room, very friendly staff.
The only thing they don't tell you is that the parking is for small cars, so if you have a large one, it's quite difficult to park. The guy who helps you park is a genius!
Clean room. Good location. Friendly staff

The room was perfect, upgraded from the standard room as that is way too small and has a sloped attic ceiling. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The food was delicious.
it was a very pleasant stay from every angle you can look at.
wonderful experience will come again!
What a luxury to have a hotel like this and be able to explore a European city. Staff was very accommodating and courteous. Food was varied and plentiful . It was a great value using my ******* points as well to get half board for $250 a night during Holiday time.
I booked a deluxe room at a higher rate than normal, when we checked in we were given room 202 which at first glance was lovely, it wasn’t until I opened the curtains that we were very disappointed with the view. There was no outside view at all, instead both windows were looking out onto an internal building site with literally bags on cement on the window cill.
I mentioned this at check out thinking...
The room was nice aesthetically but being on floor 1 which was street level, the road noise and even the noise from footfall outside was loud and constant from early morning to late night especially the 2am bin collections on Sunday morning!
The staff were pleasant but not very welcoming and small requests were ignored like a request for a small amount of milk in the room for tea and coffee. The breakfast...
The Kosher Hotel King David in Prague is incredible. The staff was extremely attentive, responsive, and helpful. The rooms were huge, quiet, well appointed, and the air conditioning worked great. The food at breakfast and dinner was superb with a ton of variety. We stayed there for sukkot and would do so again in a heartbeat. The hotel is beautiful, but it's the staff that truly made the stay extraordinary...

This is an older European-style hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast was included and wasn't bad; the restaurant staff were diligent in clearing plates and refilling food frequently. The location is excellent, close to the Powder Tower and Old Town Square, and Havel's Market is also very nearby. The room key isn't a card key, but it gave a classic feel, which wasn't a problem. Although the hotel is...
Great location and excellent service, but as an older hotel, the facilities are a bit dated.
The hotel’s greatest strength is its proximity to major landmarks. It is situated just a 2-minute walk from the Old Town Square (Astronomical Clock) and close to Wenceslas Square and Havelská Market. Most of Prague's historic center is easily accessible by foot.
Very good location, just a minute the old town and 5 mins away from train station , easy to get around everywhere. Service was great, prepared breakfast for us to take away while we got early flight .
Huge room... well suite really! Bed lovely.
Breakfast excellent.
Only downside was both female receptionists were soooooo miserable. Could not manage a smile.
Such a shame as they are the 1st impression
Great hotel near the Old town sector of Prague. Amazing staff with great knowledge of the area and what transport options to get, very spacious room and great variety of breakfast options available. Only critique I would say is the shower takes quite long for hot water but that is just me being picky 🤣
Overall brilliant stay- would highly recommend this hotel!!

Simple but very good
Cozy accomodations, easy to access via bus and the owner is very helpful. He also has a coin/currency collection, so I recommend bringing your home country currency as a simple gift!
Cleanliness leaves something to be desired room full of cobwebs dirt under the bed
Clean spacious rooms with comfy beds. Bathroom was nice with everything I could have needed. The two central radiators were really efficient at keeping the room warm. Staff were also friendly. Good location easily accessible on foot or on the 133 bus line.
It's an old building, but it's clean.

Good location within walking distance to main attractions. The breakfast spread was also good. When we had to leave early before 7am, reception was kind to arrange for a packed sandwiches and snacks, it was good gesture and will recommend to others. One area of improvement is lack of electric kettle which is good to have on cold days.
The location is superb, just about a 3-minute walk to the subway, tram station, and supermarket. It was especially great that people aged 65 and over don't have to pay for transportation, so we enjoyed the city views by tram every day. Although the breakfast didn't have a huge variety, it was plentiful and delicious, leaving us very satisfied. My only minor disappointment was the lack of a kettle in...
Overall, my stay was quite average. The hotel facilities are noticeably a bit old, and both the room environment and equipment show signs of wear and tear. Furthermore, the Wi-Fi connection was unstable, which was a bit disruptive to daily use. However, one definite positive was the excellent staff service. They were always patient and friendly when communicating and tried their best to help, which...

About a 12-minute walk from Prague Main Station, and around a 6-minute walk from Mustek metro station. Havel's Market, the Old Town, and the Astronomical Clock are all within walking distance.
The very popular restaurant, Kantyna, is also about a 6-minute walk away.
Charles Bridge is about a 20-minute walk.
To Prague Castle, it's about two subway stops from Mustek station.

The building might not be new, but it had a classic charm and was very clean, which I appreciated. Being on a main road made me feel safe, even at night, and its proximity to the station and Old Town Square was a big plus. Prague Castle was also within walking distance if you were up for it. The location was the best part of the stay (apart from the breakfast); right in the heart of Old Town and walking distance to everything. Our Uber had to drop us off a very short distance away necessitating us to lug our luggage for 40 secs or so. Not a big deal!
Removed 1 star because of a check-in snafu. The room given had 2 single beds (for a couple) because the hotel was fully booked and despite...
Much to improve, in fact. First, it wasn’t clear that the hotel was directly across the astronomical clock and that the reception and the hotel itself were separated from each other. We ended up on the highest floor — with no elevator and a not welcoming porter. It would be great to have all this info upfront. We arrived late afternoon and took about half an hour to find the hotel through a Xmas...
The hotel is centrally located in the heart of old town. It is in front of the famous clock and it can be extremely crowded at times. The rooms are traditionally furnished. I enjoyed my stay!
We did the apartment. It was several blocks from the hotel. That was good and bad- being right on the square during Christmas market would have been crazy but the apartment was down a side alley that felt a little remote. The apartment itself was fairly nice. Big with nice living room. Bathroom was poorly lit with mirror off to the side making getting somewhat difficult. Not sure it was worth what...
Excellent location, friendly and courteous staff, but what makes it most appealing is the stunning view. We will definitely visit our fairytale city again.
Directly opposite the Astronomical Clock tower, if there's free breakfast, it's at the Mozart Café on the second floor, with a view of the Astronomical Clock from the window. Not all rooms offer a view of the clock; if you want to see it from your window, book the most expensive room. However, booking a standard room is well worth it and highly recommended.

Great breakfast
Suitable for Chinese palates

The location is excellent — public transport is right nearby (bus station, metro, tram). That said, you can easily walk to the main sightseeing areas: most of Prague’s iconic spots are about 10–15 minutes away on foot.

Getting worse every time, last time they rescheduled breakfast from 7:30 to 8:AM, which was late for my schedule. There were no mats in front of our rooms on rainy days, so you bring all the dirt inside with limited self-cleaning options (TP).

I had a pleasant stay. The recepción staff were very friendly. The rooms , while basic, are very spaciousband functional. Hausekeeping was efficient. Breakfast is simple but adequate. Overall, good valué for the price.
Very satisfied with our 4-day stay at the Hotel AXA. We had a spacious room with a great view of the skyline and all amenities were just fine. Because of the time of year, our room was neither too warm nor too cold. Housekeeping and Breakfast Service were also great. From the hotel’s location it was easy to go exploring, either on foot or by tram.
Good location good staff but no air condition
This hotel exceeded expectations with spacious rooms and incredibly comfortable beds. Beautiful hotel in the very heart of the Old Town. Excellent staff, all very friendly and helpful. Great room and facilities and so easy to get anywhere around the City. A great find and definitely one to recommend.
We spent three night in the quaint hotel and had an amazing time..
Our superior room was a delight, high ceilings with chandelier lights and a supremely comfortable double bed., a small but wonderful bathroom
The location was first class, surrounded by bars restaurants and small shops.
I would highly recommend this hotel on all points
Amazing staff too
Location is super good, two minutes to Old Town Square. 10 minutes to Charles Bridge. The staff are friendly and helpful. Many bars , cafe and restaurants around the hotel. Shopping, dining and sign seeing all are in walkable distance
Located few steps from Old Town Square, though it’s in pedestrian zone so not every taxi can get directly to the hotel’s entrance. Rooms are spacious, furniture is classic and a bit old. Bed is quite comfy. Some rooms don’t have fridge, but you can order drinks from the reception. Nice and helpful staff. In general good respecting the price.

Room was clean and staff was excellent. Staff was willing to assist in anyway. Location is excellent! Tram service was nearby and a bus station for a direct bus to and from the airport in a 10min walk.

It was okay. Price a little high, also more 3 star than 4 as others have said. That said, the place is safe, clean enough and breakfast was a decent selection for a solo traveler. There is a mall and transport close by. Staff were okay. One thing to be mindful of, this is the hill part of Prague.
Great stay right next to JZP! Staff was really friendly and offered to carry my luggage. The breakfast buffet was nice too. Room was a bit small but clean.
The room is a bit small and house keeping is not doing a good job, location is great just few minutes walk to metro station. Breakfast, I will say it’s okay but not like other comments said many choices. Everyday are the same.
The hotel has a great location. We took a taxi everywhere, and on average, it was around 5 Euros, whether near or far. Amazing city, amazing breakfast.
Sservice was good, but there's no "noisy people in the hallway" category. A couple and I guess their friends had an adjacent room and would be in the hallway talking and laughing on both days, but didn't go on too late so it was tolerable. The hotel staff were nice and professional. The room is a bit old, but not in a bad way. It's clean.
