I booked a room for Brutal Assault 2025 in September 2024. In January 2025, the hotel canceled my booking, citing "reduced capacity" as the reason. However, they only canceled my booking—all my friends still have no issues with theirs.
When I called the hotel, I discovered that the reception staff didn't speak English. Additionally, I never received a response to my email in English; the only reply I got was in Czech. OMG. This is not funny at all.

We stayed here as part of the festival package and it was pure luxury compared to a tent. The lobby is bright, clean and modern and we had a top notch meal in the bar/ restaurant on the first evening. The bedroom was dated with some signs of wear and tear, but also clean, albeit basic. The beds were comfortable and the area around the hotel is pleasant. The shower water was mostly lukewarm to cold, with no consistent hot water. Breakfast was a compact buffet including a few cooked and continental options. I found the staff pleasant and helpful.

It is not enough to say a word about the hotel itself but it needs to be connected with the price …
Hotel room costs circa 110€ for which in any other more civilized places in Europe you could expect „something nice”. Alessandria offers you rooms which were renovated during late 70s and from that time didnt change much.
You can still feel the „smoke” of cigarettes on the corridors and in the room although probably no one is smoking since years …
The light in the room is extremely yellow which makes the filling of 70s even more intense, the desk phone is just a cherry on the blossom 😉
Bathroom - almost clean but there are those small things which says “I am what I am - don’t blame me for that no one cares about me”
… and saying so I think it is correct to say that owner do not care how it looks and what happens inside …..
Hope in future children of grandchildren of owner will wake up 😂
Last remark - pls do not, do not use stars during the night, it is easy to kill yourself as there is no light on it 😳

Dirty, used towels. broken light, wardrobe, bin. Very strict stuff. No breakfast. I am very disappointed

The rooms are old, the bathrooms are cold, the staff is not as friendly as expected for extremely high price of all mentioned above. Wifi coverage very bad, breakfast with little to choose from.

Room standard would be appreciated for sure man harkens back 50 years ago. What, however, would surely appreciate is a messy room after a previous guest, a bitchy receptionist and paying the hotel parking lot from the hours. Just the fact that I took the time to write this review, it confirms me in the fact that here the really next time no.

Very good localization of the hotel, the receptionist very kind and willing. The rooms are ok, spacious, clean and well maintained. I was staying in the room standard plus and I was very happy ;) when you next visit HK again I will choose this hotel..

With accommodation I was very satisfied. Accommodated I was in a Standard room Plus, which surpassed my expectations. Oblsuhoval me friendly and helpful staff, at a local restaurant cook great steaks. On quality of accommodation should also influence the location of the hotel in a quiet part of the city. However, the Hotel was not far from the centre (about 15 minutes walk). Accommodation, therefore, was perfectly fine and without any reservations. On my next trip to Hradec Králové'm certainly not going to look for other accommodation.

Hotel is long past it's finest days. Rooms are refurbished on few levels and they are ok. But just ok. Corridors and elevator are not. I suggest to look for other place if looking for satysfying comfort.

The hotel has a great entrance and beautiful ambience around the entrance. The restaurant has some good meal options but just 1 or 2 vegetarian options. The rooms and lobby is a bit shady and could get better. The bar is great and also the staff is kind.
