Great central hotel in Liberec

It doesn’t get more central than this. Right on the historic square, in the heart of Liberec city centre, with a beautiful view of the Liberec Town Hall and the old square.
Comfortable bed and a sparkling clean bathroom with a bathtub. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which made our stay enjoyable and stress-free.
Quiet area, well maintained, and great value for money. Many restaurants, shops, and bars within walking distance. My favourite place to stay in Liberec.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Praha in Liberec, but what truly made the experience exceptional was the incredibly warm and welcoming atmosphere — especially thanks to Jakub at the reception.

From the very first moment, Jakub greeted me with such genuine kindness and professionalism that I immediately felt at home. He is the perfect example of how hospitality should be done. Friendly, attentive, always smiling, and ready to help with anything — whether it was local recommendations, directions, or simply making sure everything was perfect with my stay.

You can really tell that he cares about guests and takes pride in his work. His positive energy and calm, confident manner made the whole stay smoother and more enjoyable. Honestly, people like Jakub are rare — he turns a simple hotel stay into a memorable experience.

Hotel Praha is already beautiful and well located, but having someone like Jakub welcoming you makes all the difference. If you stay here, I truly hope you get to meet him — he’s a real asset to the hotel.

Very nice hotel, it's right in the city center, can't beat this location, loved they kept old decor and integrated it to more modern aspects, like room i stayed in, very modern, great space, unfortunately the beds are single so that was sad for me. Staff was very friendly, loved the breakfast, hotel parking is also available but sometimes crowded, one day I had to wait a few minutes for someone to remove their car so I could exit the car park, overall, great experience, loved staying here

The hotel is located in the old city centre so you have plenty of tourist attractions at your hand. They have good service. Rooms are comfortable. And they have that old lift which is historical.

Central location in Nové Město on the main square. Perfect! Hotel Praha Liberec is an example of Art Nouveau, you see it in the foyer and the dining room.
Please note: There are modern, recently renovated rooms in a contemporary design and those in their original state. I am referring to the older ones - these are very simple, but functional and fine for one or two nights. But don't expect too much.
Good breakfast selection in the dining room, with a view of the main square. What more could you want?
Friendly and helpful staff. Overall - due to the very good location and the attractive price, the Hotel Praha Liberec can really be recommended.

(The central heating was apparently not working, but there was an electric radiator in the room. TV with chaos of cables not working.)

Great value for money
A bit worn out and the beds are too soft. But the location is fantastic and the Art Nouveau lift alone is worth the stay :-) The breakfast is average but correct value for the money. Super friendly and helpful staff, from night receptionist to cleaning ladies.

Centrally positioned, this hotel is well beyond its shining days. The idea to attract with art nouveau is limited by the old structure, the prehistoric carpets in the stairwell and the lack of basic equipment like power connectors close to the bed or a hair dryer. Furthermore the 4 rooms we occupied in our group have not been room-serviced for all consecutive 3 nights we stayed. A call at the reception helped a bit.
The breakfast was acceptable, although the orange juice was diluted massively. This hotel will rise again if the owner decides to modernize and to rethink about the concept.
